Dan is an absolute saint. He came out to my home to track down a short somewhere and really saved our butts. I had him back another time to ground/replace a bunch of 2 prong outlets that we still had in the oldest part of our home. Next months he’s installing a Generac generator for me. If you have any issues, concerns or projects Dan is fabulous and I highly recommend him.

Just call him! After a storm which took out the power for a few days, we were not able to access water using our generator.Initially starting with a well company, they determined it was an electrical problem. Within 10 min of arriving, Dan identified the issue and explained the cause. His explanation wasnt just for me but also for the young man who accompanied him. Loves how he shares his knowledge! I first used Dan in 2019 to install a generator hook up to my house, I was so impressed with his quality of work and timely responses that I decided to tell my neighbor I had a guy if he needed one. My neighbor said he already had a great Electrician and wouldn’t use anyone else. When he handed me his electricians card… it was Dan Heeringa. Of course we had both found the same person!Since then Dan has been my electrical guy. He has installed lights, hot tub hook ups, and more for me over the years. Most recently my pool pump broke and I immediately ordered a new one, knowing my pool would turn green soon it was a timely situation. I let Dan know of my situation and he showed up at my door 5 minutes after the new pump was delivered to help me hook it up and get it running. Talk about amazing customer service!I cannot say enough good things about his kind and honest character not to mention the high quality of work he has always done.He has become a friend that I value and the only Electrician I will use!I highly recommend Dan for any of your Electrical needs!

Dan was able to help us figure out the best course of action to swap our gas for electric when we are getting a new hot water tank. He gave us a free estimate which seemed very reasonable for installing a sub panel in our utility room along with some extra outlets. We even had a recessed TV outlet installed in one of our other rooms.He was able to get the work done very quickly with minimal cuts to the drywall.He also did a great job installing an EV outlet in our garage.

Dan is the absolute best and my husband and I would recommend him 1000 times over to anyone looking for an electrician. Dan helped us with a few projects when we first moved into our house (installing a level 2 charging station and various other little fixes), for which he was extremely efficient and professional. We recently had a mysterious, piercing high-pitch noise coming from one of our rooms and when we called Dan in a frustrated panic, he was at our house in less than 5 min. Without complaint he found the source of the issue and then proceeded to help us put back all the devices we had ripped off the wall in our frenzy. Not only is Dan phenomenal at his job, but he is also a very knowledgable, kind, and pleasant person and we cannot sing his praises enough. HIRE HIM!

Called with explanation of light fixture problem. Texted Dan and he responded within two hours that he could stop by in 30 minutes. He diagnosed the problem quickly, changed light bulbs and adjusted light fixture. No charge for bulbs and gave us a clear explanation of what we need to do to avoid problems. Dan is professional and we will use Heeringa Electric for any future electrical problems. Great company!!!

We have used Dan a couple of times and won’t hesitate to call him gain. He installed our house generator the first time which was a great experience. The second time we were having issues with circuit breaker popping on our outdoor outlets, garage outlet and sprinkler system. He was able to track down the problems and fix them. He is great to work with, honest and efficient. Don’t hesitate to call him.

I had called to see if they do home repairs and the gentleman I spoke with helped me troubleshoot likely issues of our dead outlet. We had already done the first two, but the third we were not aware of and that simple thing was the trick. He could have very easily booked the job and made some easy money. In my opinion, it really speaks to his helpfulness and integrity. I would call him again if we had an issue.
