I wish I could give them a rating better than 5 !! The father and son did some commercial property work for us this past Easter Weekend. Half of our shopping center was without power. Bobby and his father gave up their Easter Sunday , working hard to get our power back on by 8:30 pm Sunday night !!!! Words cant express their efforts and concerns for us and the tenants impacted. I highly recommend this business.

Update:Im updating my rating as Polk finally reached out to me and explained a mixup they had with my contact info. Once they sorted that out, they scheduled the job and performed the requested work. I was happy with the work performed and the install looks great.Original Review:After waiting 2 weeks to have someone come and survey a job for me I never heard back from them with a quote. I then called back to ask for the quote and was told they would call me back. A month later and nothing.

We have been renovating our home for a few years now and updating and upgrading the electrical seemed like a daunting task until we called Polk Electric. They sent Kirby out to our house and we fell in love with him. Not only does he know his stuff, he is friendly and helpful. We have had Kirby come back 2 more times to do additional work for us because we know we can trust him to be fair and honest. We are very happy with our service!

Had several outlets go bad as well as GFI missing in the kitchen. Moved into this house (money pit) a year ago and constantly fixing everything so was stressed about the wiring and what was behind the walls. Chris and helper got here on time and put my mind at ease within an hour. Some very easy fixes that they took care of right away and eliminated possible fires in the future. I will recommend Polk Electric to friends and will use for any future electrical projects.

It is very rare these days that you get a company that is committed to nothing but the best service possible!! If you want that, call Polk Electric! I had a light fixture that was having issues due to an improper installation from the last home owner. The switches were hooked up wrong and the light had faulted due to the weight of the fixture being on the wire and not the drop chain. Polk Electric (Dewayne and Harold) did everything in their power to make sure they could get to my 20 ft ceiling and get the light working again. They pulled together all their resources and achieved 100% customer satisfaction….You cant beat the commitment that came out of these guys and Polk Electric. MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

The Federal Pacific electrical panel has been deemed a FIRE HAZARD. I needed my house electrical panel upgrade because of this fact. I checked many companies in the local area. I wanted a professional job and that is what I got from Polk Electrical Company of Rock Hill S.C. The work required a YORK County work permit which was gotten by Polk Electrical Company in one day. They completed the upgrade of all my electrical work in one day. Their work was inspected by YORK County and received an excellent approval from county. The Polk Electric Company staff and electricians were trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable about electric codes in North and South Carolina. The electrician was amazing! The office policies definitely need upgrades. I needed immediate work done for a closing on a house and the electrician came out promptly and completed the work but could not leave me a copy of the bill or a report because he had to turn into the office and they were supposed to communicate with me the information that I needed to submit to attorneys office to close on the sale the next day, so I called the office as soon as electrician left letting them know I needed a report sent that day or next morning and they agreed to do so. I called the office the next day and they didnt have internet and couldnt send a report. I was not happy. This delayed our closing. They were complacent with having us wait until when the internet was fixed not knowing when that would happen. Finally they offered to fax the info after I asked them to take a picture of the report and text it to me. It was too much hassle to go through all of the work and time I put in to calling and coordinating this to be completed. I lived in Tega Cay and I found them by asking my husband who to call and he said, call Polk Electric I see their vans around town alot.

I have had 3 ceiling lights installed. I had a ceiling light installed. Recently they came because my bathrooms electrical wall plugs would not work. It turned out to be a simple problem. When a service company came to put in my new furnace. they bumped a grounding switch on the wall. They only charged me a servive call. They are priced fair. The workmanship is outstanding.

I just relocated my 75 year older mother back to Rock Hill. We bought an adorable 81 year old bungalow near Winthrop. Polk Electric began work the day after we closed on the house and we trusted them with a key to complete the extensive work while none of lived in town.Bobby Polk called me daily to provide updates on the work. Polk Electric completed all scoped work within the time committed. My contractor came back in to check double check Polks work and he confirmed Polk did excellent work. I highly recommend Polk Electric to do your work as they can be trusted to go above and beyond to ensure quality affordable work.
