Came out the day I called. I had a breaker that kept tripping and didnt even think it was related to the gutter work I had just had done but it was.The electrician found the problem and repaired it. I like the fact that the electricians that come out are kind friendly and respectful.I also LOVE the fact that a real person answers the phone and is very knowledgeable and reassuring. So far all of the employees at John Brown make me feel like family and I feel like theyre my family. Such a blessing to have a company with people of integrity and excellence in their work.

I was in contact with three people from Jonathon Brown Electric today. Beginning with Michelle: she was beyond pleasant to the point of extraordinary. Professional and extremely helpful in scheduling a service call. She listened, understood the situation, explained what I should expect and then acted upon it to the satisfaction of this customer. Next were the two service representatives, Jerry and Donald. Both went through what they wanted to do to address my situation. They were thorough, checking everything associated with the situation and not stopping till they found the root cause of the issue.I cannot compliment these three folks on they way they handled my situation. The work accomplished, the price fair and Five Star Satisfaction is only the beginning. Thankyou!

When I originally called, I was told I would be a wait list as it wasn’t an emergency. That was a Monday. That Friday a technician came out. He added an outlet. His work was exceptional. The outlet looks like it has always been there. The wall was newly painted before the outlet was added. No scuffs at all. The technician cleaned up, leaving the space better than he found it and the price was reasonable. The next time we need electrical work, I will call Jonathan Brien Electrics!

I had a breaker that kept tripping which knocked power off in half the house. The technicians were thorough in their root cause investigation to eliminate possible causes. Luckily, it turned out to be only a power over load because I had an electric heater on high for an extended time. I am impressed by the punctuality of the technicians, their professionalism, thorough search for a root cause, and explanation so that I can avoid having this issue going forward! I highly recommend Johnathan Brown Electrical.

We had a great experience with the technician Steve who visited our home. He was kind and explained all of our options with patience because I know very little about electrical work. Then my dad called and he told my dad all of the same things again. VERY patient and very detailed. He did extremely thorough work on the outlet for charging my car. He left everything in perfect condition; no mess for me to clean up. He didnt leave until it was working perfectly and I was satisfied with his work. He continued to remind me of the things the outlet would do after he was finished and really educated me along with doing fantastic work. I am an educator and really appreciated this from him.Prior to the appointment I got an email with a picture of who was coming to my house, I got a phone call from him before he got there letting me know the exact time he would be getting there, and he arrived on time. 100% satisfied customer! Also the lady I spoke to on the phone when setting up the appointment was the sweetest! This family/small business really shines in our community. Thank you!

We have had Johnathon Brown Electric do 2 jobs for us. Most recently, Johnathon and his team changed out our overhead ligthing and replace that with recessed lighting. They also replaced all the light switches and outlets with toggle switches and new outlets.We have been very pleased with Johnathon and his team. This is the second time weve used Jonathon Browns services and Im so glad we called them! Ethan, the technician, was extremely courteous, well mannered, clean despite it pouring rain outside, and fixed our two problems quickly. He didnt try to upsell us on things we didnt need, but he was efficient and able to fix a problem we had lived with for years. I recommend asking for Ethan when you call Jonathon Brown. On the back end, their customer service was excellent! Theyre polite and friendly and make it easy to schedule. Ive had some technicians where you leave a message and your calls go unanswered. I was very impressed with Jonathon Brown Electric! First of all, they were prompt to quote the project and to complete the work. Pricing was very fair especially considering the quality of work. The work was going to be behind cabinets and they asked if I had any concerns about sheetrock openings because it will be covered, however they completed the project with no sheetrock damage at all. I could not be more pleased. They have earned my loyalty as my personal electrician.

I have wanted recessed lights in my home for sometime now. I asked around and Johnathan Brown Electric was recommended to me. I called and set up an appointment for one of their electricians to come out and take a look. The receptionist that answered the phone was polite and friendly! The day before my in-home estimate they emailed to remind me of the appointment. Good communication on their part!Matthew arrived well within the 2 hour window they had given me. He was also very friendly, professional and polite. After our walkthrough and his recommendations I decided to move forward with the Price he Quoted and he was able to do the installation right then and their! I was very pleased with this and it absolutely met my expectations!I will mention that because of an old light fixture that was originally placed above my Kitchen sink at the time my home was built there is still a little bit of patch up work to be done on my part to make the necessary repairs. However the work that Matthew did was excellent, he installed 2 ultra thin recessed lights, 1 of which was replacing the old fixture I mentioned and the other one in a spot above the oven where there was no fixture before! he also upgraded 1 of my dimmable light switches in my guest bathroom.I am so pleased that I have actually already made an additional appointment for him to come and add a recessed light above my newly renovated shower! Matthew definitely knows what he is doing and he does it with ease. At the end of the day I trust him! So thank you!

Steve from this company came out last week after a thunderstorm wrecked some havoc on our system. A timely appointment was easily made, Steve arrived on time and was very personable yet professional. He was patient when I asked obvious questions and put electrical terms into layman’s terms for me. I have been wanting to change the chandelier in our 2-story foyer for years now and always knew it would be a hassle to have an electrician come out. Last year, I started to get quotes for this and was shocked that companies wanted anywhere from $750-$1400 to remove our old, builder grade fixture and replace it with a simple, new one. I was even pressured into making an appointment with one company because, Youll never find a price as good as ours.I called Johnathon Brown Electric because I had seen some good reviews on a local group on Facebook. I went online and requested a quote. The next day, a very kind woman called to set up the appointment. She told me they could come out the following Monday (12/23) and apologized it couldnt be earlier, but if I was in a rush they would squeeze me in so that our house could be Christmas Ready. What a kind offer, but totally not necessaryOn Monday, the technician called by 12:30 and said that their last job finished early and they would be by shortly. Ethan was at our house within 30 minutes and quoted us $435.29 for installation and even better, he said he could take care of it right then and there. Another 30 minutes later, we have a new chandelier and he offered to take the old one away so we didnt have to deal with the disposal.I dont know how many other electrical jobs well have, but I know that I will always be calling them and will make sure that I refer them to anyone who needs electrical work.Best price and best customer service!

Earlier this week I had JB electric out to my home to get a few estimates for some electrical work. Ive used this company in the past so I knew they were reliable and did good work. The technician Steve arrived on time. He was neat and professional. Steve explained in detail as he walked me through all my options. The job required him to run new wire from my breaker, up through the wall, into my attic to bring power all the way to the opposite side of my house. After speaking with Steve, I could tell he was confident and knowledgeable. Steve was able to complete the job without doing any damage to my drywall. I have had a difficult time getting electricians to return my call in the Fort Mill area. I called Johnathan Brown Electric and got a same day return call, and a one week out appointment. I had 4 projects from installing light fixtures to replacing a faulty outlet. On a Friday morning around 10 am, I noticed that a light fixture in my laundry room was precariously dangling by its wires. Remembering my satisfactory past experiences with JB Electric, I immediately called them, expecting to schedule a repair appointment for the following week. To my pleasant surprise, they responded with remarkable promptness, arriving before 12 noon that same day to address the issue. The electrician, Joshua, demonstrated commendable professionalism and a friendly demeanor as he efficiently repaired the light fixture. He informed me that the fixture had been hanging by a mere screw, and the fixture insert was cracked. Skillfully, he replaced the damaged insert and securely reattached the light fixture. A few days later, they were able to work me in since I was without a stove. Johnathon was great, he came out on time with a cortousey prior to arrival. We had a arc fault issue in a 50 year old house. Johnathon quoted us a price before starting for the diagnosis and potential fix of our problem, he also let us know that if the problem turned into something bigger he would let us know of a price change prior to starting the repair. Johnathon was very knowledgeable he traced down the problem fixed it and we were charged exactly what we where quoted. I have dealt with other electricians in the past but Mr. Brown is by far the best in my opinion, he even fixed a 3 way switch I was having issues with while he was here. 5 stars are not enough to describe my experience. We had an issue with flickering lights and Matthew came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and took a look at the entire system. He kept us informed throughout the whole process and made us aware of different solutions. He was very knowledgeable and helped us learn more in the process and also shared some cool design ideas for lighting the kitchen. While he was in the garage, he mentioned that he thought he smelled gas. Im naturally always a little stuffy so I appreciated him noticing this. He mentioned it a second time when he went back in there again. I called the gas company after he left and, sure enough, we had a gas leak coming from our our water heater!! If Matthew had not brought this to our attention, I dont even want to think about what the consequences could have been. Cant thank him enough not only for his excellent electrician skills, but also for being observant and caring enough to bring the gas issue to our attention.

So Johnathon Brown Electric was recommended to us by another contractor (different trade) and from that first call to his office I have to say I was impressed! Michelle was personable and had amazing customer service! She scheduled us an appointment for an estimate and because we were pressed for time, scheduled a subsequent appointment for the work. When Johnathon came out he addressed all of our concerns and gave us a quote on the spot. He was personable, professional and very knowledgeable! He gave us great options that were better alternatives (see photo of our new smart switch) and less expensive than what we initially wanted to do! He did a great job on the work we hired him to do and he even fixed some of the things that others had messed up on (previous contractor and the builder). Would HIGHLY recommend him!

I own a 150 year old home that predates electricity. I have every era of electrical wiring from knob and tube to current. Ive had other electricians fumble around in my home in the past and now I will not allow any other electrician to work on my home other than Jonathan and his crew. He is knowledgeable on current codes and takes care of all aspects of the job, including permits and talking with code enforcement, inspectors and power company personnel. He has repaired wiring, ran new wiring and replaced my homes main panel and his work is the best youre going to find.
