    I have used Comfort Services since 2012. Dustin came out today to do my yearly winter checkup on my HVAC system. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I dont trust these big name businesses who have gone from focusing their attention on one service to being a jack of all trades. And you can be assured if they do a lot of advertising (which is expensive) it gets put back on the customer. Plus, these jack of all trades service companies will do just that - try to up sale you on all their trades. Im very thankful Comfort Services keeps on keeping on with what they do.

    Had a problem with our heat pump sun evening and contacted Comfort Services Sun night and asked for a call Mon morning. Received a call first thing. They had Dustin call and he got out right away. Diagnosed the problem, fixed it and checked out whole system. It is great to know we have a courteous, knowledgeable and service oriented company in our corner.

    I called Comfort Services, Inc for an issue that wasnt fixed by another company and also for a second opinion to see if my unit needed to be replaced. Dustin checked everything out, addressed the issue and everything is working fine. I will be using this company again.

    Had a semi-emergency related to an HVAC unit. Called on Sunday (got the emergency line but it wasn’t an emergency, so asked them to leave message for the office to call me when they got in on Monday morning). I received a call back on Monday morning at 8am, had a technician at my house by 9:00, and had a working AC by 9:45! Dustin was the technician and he was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Hugely appreciated the responsiveness and quick fix! Thanks again Comfort Services!

    Comfort Services, Inc did a great job on our heating system. They were polite, and very responsive to our initial call. Their Service Tech ‘David” informed us of different options to replace or repair our older system. We opted to get a new unit/system installed. We are very happy with the work and the overall cost. We went with one of their financing options at a very reasonable low monthly payment.

    Dustin at Comfort Services gave us a great price on installing a whole home steam humidifier system in our home. His price blew away the competition. We had the top of the line Aprilaire 800 system installed at a phenomenal price. Better yet, their service was exceptional. Dustin and Leeland (assistant) did a wonderful job, took them about 3 hours, cleaned up afterwards and the system is working perfectly. They were professional and kept me advised of any issues, as well as walking me though the step-by-step process of having the system run and what I should look for. They did a remarkable job, saved me a lot of money, and I cant tell you how pleased we are with their installation work. I will definitely call on them in the future to do other necessary maintenance work in the future.

    I am so grateful that I was referred to Comfort Services, Inc. when my AC stopped working. I called and spoke to a REAL PERSON at 8 pm last night, who took my information and let me know someone would contact me the following morning. I was contacted first thing this morning and was assured I would have a technician out to my home same day. Within minutes of the technician, John Joyce, arriving to my home he was able to pin point the exact problem and had the supplies on hand to fix it. He did a complete inspection and has my AC running again like new! It’s so hard to find good customer service these days, and I’ve had my fair share of bad servicing from other AC companies.. I would recommend Comfort Services, Inc. to anyone needing AC servicing. Beyond excellent customer service from start to finish! I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Great job!     Our gas furnace stopped delivering heat yesterday afternoon and I called Comfort Services this morning a few minutes before their office opened at 8:00am. I got their answering service, who were polite and professional, left a message, and got a call back from Comfort within a couple minutes. They had two techs at our home by 9:30am. They troubleshot, identified the part that had failed, located a replacement locally, picked up the replacement part and had our heat back up and running before 11:00 am. Ive used some other higher profile HVAC companies in the past and been disappointed. Comfort Services will be my go-to for HVAC service from now on. I have no hesitation recommending them to my family, friends, and you.

    Installed an inverter heat pump system with Wi-Fi thermostat after removing my old system. Did this in two business days after my call about my old system not working. Work done in one day. Were efficient, knowledgeable, professional. Very happy with the installation service! Dustin, Chris, and Leland were great!

    I was very impressed & satisfied with Comfort Services technician, David, that came to my home on 04/29/19 to fix my A/C. He was very polite & professional. He had my A/C fixed within in hour! And it is now working perfectly! He explained to me what was wrong & what he had to do to fix the issue! I was very pleased with the amount that I paid to get my unit working! I will continue to use Comfort Services if I have issues in the future! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a Good HVAC team! Keep up the GREAT work Comfort Services!

    Initial review ~2019: Honest help, quality work, reasonable pricing.Thank you.*Edit: had another unexpected problem 3 years later so I knew exactly who to call. Responsive and trustworthy gets my money. Dustin S. was right on time and did a thorough diagnostic then implemented a fix. He explained what was going on and even did a coil cleaning. It was the weekend so higher rates naturally apply but it was worth it. He left us pleased.

    My husband and I had a heat pump installed today by Comfort Services. 2 gentlemen showed up on time for this install. They worked very hard, as a team, and were able to successfully install our heat pump in about 5.5 hours. While they were here, we found them to be very respectful, hard working and dependable.We would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a reasonable, dependable company.     I called Comfort Services frantically searching for someone who could come and repair my AC in the middle of a heat wave. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful, assuring me someone would be by within the hour. John J. came in less than half that time! He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable as he inspected and serviced my HVAC system, explaining what he was doing and why. He melted the ice on my frozen unit, cleaned the coils, serviced and cleaned the unit, and added Freon. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely be using their services again. I happily recommend Comfort Services to anyone in the Roanoke area and will be referring them to all my friends and family!

I found out that Comfort Services has been serving the Roanoke Area for a long time and their reviews were all very positive.     Weve used Comfort Services for the 14 years of owning our home. The technicians are very knowledgeable and dont push you to buy things you dont want or need, like a service contract. Their website says their technicans are not on commission which was important to us because otherwise you dont know the motivations for what you are being ask to pay for. We lost cooling on an upper 90 degree day last summer after normal business hours and they showed up and fixed the problem quickly. It was only a minor part that went bad so we basically just paid the emergency service service fee.

    I must say this company is awesome! Sandy was so helpful. We were scheduled to have a whole new unit put in on Monday. Our unit didnt make it till Monday and died on Wednesday, Sandy got us a portabable AC unit to use at no charge! What a lifesaver. We then got worked in and had our unit replaced on Friday. New unit inside and out all in one day at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company over anyone else. Great staff to work with!

    On 06/10/16, I randomly selected Comfort Services, Inc. (Roanoke, VA) to repair a heat pump that was not cooling. When I say random, I did some preliminary research and found that this company is a member of the Better Business Bureau (with 2 favorable remarks/0 complaints) and linked to “Angie’s List” (though I’m not a member and was unable to see the remarks). I also knew this company had been in service for 30+ years and maintained a moderately sized fleet to accommodate customer needs. I was advised of the fee upfront ($115) and was told by the receptionist that this fee is their minimum service charge, and it will be applicable to the first 1½ hours of work at the home. This policy is most unique as nearly ALL HVAC companies will charge a fee similar to this, and the customer will NOT recoup any of that amount which could be applied to the actual work being performed. In essence, it seems that with this company, the customer is actually paying for the work and not travel time getting to the home---this company is exceptional in customer related ethics!. In my opinion, this sets Comfort Services, Inc. as a true trendsetter in the HVAC service industry for clearly recognizing and addressing a recovering economy, just as McDonald’s is the pacesetter in the fast food industry with being the first to offer the $1 menu.The technician who arrived, Steve, was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Since I had no prior relationship to this company, I monitored the work that was being done. Steve actually attempted to explain what he was doing, but honestly, his knowledge far exceeds my rudimentary understanding of heat pumps and component relationships. In my conversation with Steve as he was working, I advised him that in the near future, I would need to replace my two Trane heat pumps as they were installed in the late 90s, and here’s something noteworthy to report: Steve told me that, as a courtesy, Sandy (the Customer Service Representative) actually files the warranty paperwork herself to assure that an HVAC manufacturer cannot use the lack of paperwork submission in timely fashion going against the customer and thereby invalidating a warranty. I am impelled to then ask myself: “How many other HVAC companies would do the same for their customers?” This again, sets this company far above expectations when it comes to customer appreciation.I was totally pleased with the workmanship in restoring my heat pump to optimal operating condition, and Steve tidied up his work area before leaving. The culprit was a bad capacitor and my total bill was $142 (this included that initial call-out fee of $115) ---what a deal and thank you Comfort Services, Inc.!!!
