The electrician was so professional and so helpful. After the storm on 5/28, we lost power for a day which was restored same day. But then the next day the power was wonky and then only half our breakers were working 5/30. Turns out the line from the meter to the box got fried, we had another company come out to just repair the line but they wanted $10k to do all the unnecessary upgrades. But Richardson Ready Electric was called on 5/31, we sent them photos of damage and they said they could come Monday 6/3. Unfortunate but lots of electrical damage in area after the storm. He said he might come 6/1. Well we hoped for the best and they showed up on a Saturday and fixed the fried line from meter to breaker box. We finally had power to the entire house again!! And the fee was so reasonable for emergency work on the weekend! It was under $300 for the work! I highly recommend Richardson Ready Electric for any of your needs!

From my first conversation with James Baker – the company’s service manager – to the final City of Dallas inspection, these guys were impressive: professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. Epi and Alex, the electricians who did our project, explained each step of what they were doing as they worked – and they worked HARD. In the company’s online reviews you may see that a couple of customers think RRE is expensive. Our project actually came in under the final estimate. Great, dependable electricians. We recently had them install new gym lights in our school building. James was very patient in helping us determine the correct replacement items. We were given several options, questions answered, and given the time for the board to review and make the best decision.They have also completed other small projects around our church and school. They always show up when they say they will, do good work, and clean up after they are done.We will definitely use them again.

Vernon at Richardson Ready Electric was referred to me by my longtime HVAC service provider (who I trust implicitly). Happy to report RRE appears to be cut from the same cloth: Vernon tried to help me diagnose a breaker box issue over the phone then came out the next day to inspect and provide an estimate. He ran some tests and narrowed it down to a breaker circuit replacement– then showed me how simple it was to replace it. Vernon game me two options: he could replace it at a cost of $100 (or) I could run to Home Depot and do it myself for $10.99. When I offered to pay a trip charge he refused it, saying “This was an estimate and we don’t charge for estimates”. Needless to say, he could have easily quoted the $100 and I would never have questioned it– or known how simple it was to DIY. Vernon and his company are my go-to electricians for life now.
