    Project Manager Jacob Beck possibly helped me save thousands of thousands of dollars or saved me from a terrible buying decision for my first home purchase. I would’ve preferred Jacob to be my original home inspector. On time, very knowledgeable, it took him a matter of seconds to understand my needs and why I called him there to help. For $150, I would recommend ALL First time Home Buyers to include them into your home inspection. If the sellers can be present at time, the inspection will be free.Mind you, this glowing review comes on Christmas Eve when no one else was available to help. THANK YOU!

    Johny, Nick, and Daboo did an excellent job in the installation of my sump pump. I was kept informed before, during, and after the job and shown photos of other jobs like mine before the project was begun. Once completed everything was put back in its place and cleaned up, both in the basement and in the yard. The job was even completed ahead of schedule, even though the supervisor was working two jobs at the same time. I am very pleased with this company.

    A little late adding a review, but Basement Doctor did a great job. From the Project Manager, Drew Sanderell coming to give us a quote and walking us through the entire process to the Foreman, Patrick Beach and his crew being professional and informative. Patrick would give me an update at the end of each day on progress. For the amount of work involved they were quick and efficient. I would highly recommend The Basement Doctor to anyone with basement issues.

    I had a scheduled appointment for maintenance on my dehumidifier and sump pumps. Steve the technician arrived asked if I was having any issues or questions. I had a question regarding changing the filter and which type was best he answered my question. He worked quickly to check both devices, when the services was complete he gave me a summary of my devices stating the were in good shape and to keep them that way to continue my yearly maintenance, but to call if I had issues or questions. He did a great job.

    We had Steve Richardson as our technician today doing our annual maintenance and he was our tech last year he was very thorough and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and made recommendations that was in our best interest for the future as far as maintaining our home/basement. Thank you for not treating us as just another customer.     The entire crew did a fantastic job and took pride in what they were doing. They worked very hard in oppressively hot conditions. I feel that they went above and beyond because there were some unusual aspects in connecting the old downspout lines with the new system they were installing. I found foreman Mike to be particularly profession, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am very pleased with the final product.

    Mike Smith and his crew installed a sump pump in my Clintonville home. Mike came out a week ahead and thoroughly explained what they would be doing. He was knowledgeable and took time to answer all my questions. He and his crew called that morning and arrived on time. They were respectful and friendly and came to get the job done. They did not disrupt my home or the neighborhood with loud talk or radios which we all appreciated. The crew was expert and efficient. They did a superior job cleaning up the job site both inside and out. True to Mikes word, there was no dust on anything in the basement from the concrete work. I was amazed and impressed. And my yard looks as nice as it did before they came. I am impressed with the job the Basement Doctor did in my home and highly recommend them.

    A pipe coming out of our whole house dehumdifier was leaking. Steven Richardson was the technician assigned to come out and take a look at it for us. Steven was great. Not only did he diagnose and fix the problem incredibly quickly, he took the time to explain to my husband what had happened and why, which is greatly appreciated. He even did a quick check of the overall system and made some very helpful recommendations. Steven was pleasant, professional and definitely exceeded our already high expectations. Should we need assistance in the future, we will definitely ask for Steven to be given the assignment.

    My husband and I were very nervous about having our older home basement walls assessed and recoated/painted for protection against moisture, etc. We wanted to be able to trust the company especially since it was going to cost a lot of money.Charlie was our project manager. He was very timely and thorough with his communication before, during and after our project. The work was done as agreed upon and in a timely manner just as it was explained to us. Since then (two years ago) I have had several questions arise that I sent to Charlie via email and he has gotten back to me within minutes! Even on a weekend! Weve been extremely pleased with Charlie and The Basement Doctors service and follow-up.

    I could not be more pleased with the project completed at my home. From the first phone call, which was friendly and professional to the completed project.The Project Manager, Scot Donnelly, was extremely knowledgeable. Identified and explained the problem causing the leak, and it was not as bad as I was anticipating. He also explained the work needed to fix our situation. The estimate was very reasonable.The team that arrived to do the work, led by Foreman, Zack Wells, was efficient and courteous. They left everything cleaned up and in order.     Scott came out recently to assess some water damage to our basement after a faucet was left on outside for awhile. His remedy was much more conservative than other companies who provided an estimate, and he thoroughly explained his recommendation along with the lifetime warranty. He was very friendly and professional. It truly seemed he was giving us honest feedback and recommendations. Throughout the process he checked in on his several times to see if we had gotten any additional water into the basement.     I have been working with the Basement Doctor now for about 5 years since they initially installed replacement sump pumps and structural beam supports.     We have the Basement Doctor Come in to our 70 year old house outside of Granville for what appeared to be a minor foundation leak. The project manager who came in first to look at our problem was so polite and professional and found our situation was more extensive than I had thought. In the end they installed a sump pump and installed drainage trenching and weep holes-which was the real eye opener. Water gushed from the block along two walls when they drilled. I had no idea it was extensive.Keating and the crew who showed up to do the actual work were amazing. Some of the hardest workers I have ever seen. I never saw them take a break. They completed everything in two very full days. All of the workers were nice and polite and took care to minimize any mess. I highly recommend them. They saved our basement from severe damage down the road. Thanks

    Todd came to inspect the sump pump that was installed a year ago. Todd was extremely gentle and polite, and chatted with be before and after he inspected. He made me feel at ease with him being a stranger in my house.I was so extremely nervous about having contractors and any inspectors in the house since it is an entire remodel. Last year an opportunity became available to have the sump pump installed and everyone that was a part of the process was prompt, clean, professional, efficient . It was really an impressive display of logistics as multiple house were having this sump pump installation process.The installation itself was really outstanding, everyone was very professional, and it looks fantastic.I can’t leave enough positive feedback about the company and the employees that work closely with the city, inspectors, and the whole scheduling system.Thank you’

    I called basement doctor to help get some insight on an issue I was having with squeaky floor boards. Although my issue was occurring on the 2nd floor, I was still given the full experience that the basement doctor has to offer. I particularly had the pleasure of working with Drew Sanderell. Drew was amazing, and represented the basement doctors well. We discussed future projects in which Drew, and the basement doctor could be of service. Overall a great interaction. I will be recommending Drew to friends and family with basement/waterproofing needs.

    I had a sump pump installed with Basement Doctors as part of a city program. Johnny was the team leader they sent and he was excellent; very quick to educate me on everything I needed to know about the equipment and contract, answered all my questions, made sure I understood what to do for maintenance. They put it into a very convenient area of my basement with almost no disruption to what’s down there. Reseeded my lawn, etc. Absolutely no complaints, great work

    Generally I wouldn’t write a review of a company just based on my initial meeting with one of their project managers, but I felt it was warranted this time.I have a 20 foot beam in my garage that supports part of the 2nd story of my home. The beam has begun to bow in the middle causing the floor in the bedroom directly above it to drop significantly on the corner supported by the beam.After multiple inspections and getting no resolutions, I contacted the Basement Doctor. They got me scheduled for the inspection really quickly.I met with Charlie Murphy for the inspection and he was amazing. Of the four inspections I have had done, he was the only person that took the time to explain everything to me. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment. He seems to genuinely care about making sure you have a positive outcome. I’m extremely grateful to him because he was able to explain what could be done to fix the beam, what it would cost and why, and without destroying the usability of my garage, which is extremely important to me.Not one other company that I tried to get an estimate from was able to do any of those things.Update:I just wanted to update my review after the work was completed and say that my entire experience with The Basement Doctors was amazing from start to finish. Zach and his crew were great. They were prompt, professional, had good communication throughout the project, and cleaned up when they were done.They completed the beam installation and were able to raise the corner of the bedroom that sits above the beam a few inches to level out the floors. I hired them for basement waterproofing as well and they completed both projects within a week. I couldn’t be happier with the results and felt the price was very reasonable for the work involved. Highly recommend this company.

    Since having Basement Doctor fix a few water issues in my basement over a dozen years ago, all is still working well. Service technician Steve Richardson just did a thorough review of water and humidity conditions at my house. Steve provided fact based recommendations to consider for the next few years. I very much appreciate his explanations about options and tradeoffs. The service contract for annual maintenance has been well worth having. Wish that was still an option, but I trust Basement Doctor to do good work and be objective about what I need, so Ill keep having them back to check my basement.     Jesse Senters’s experience and knowledge shine through every aspect of his assessment. He clearly has deep insight into every aspect of basement and foundation repair from the ground up (pardon the pun). Jesse performed the most comprehensive evaluation of my project compared to the other three quotes I received from other companies. Jesse is intellectually agile and explained the many ways we could approach this repair. He remained objective throughout the process and recommended I get an independent evaluation from a structural engineer before proceeding. This was especially impressive considering competitors seemed to push their product regardless of which strategy would be most efficacious. The Basement Doctor is fortunate to have Jesse. I hear he is a great barbecue chef, too!

    Always great customer across the board at Basement Doctor. We had little issue come about, Charley took my call over the weekend few weeks back. Then he made time the following Monday morning to swing by the house. John, service tech then came out Wednesday..:fully serviced our sump pump and gave use some great advice.However, our issue arose again, not because of their service just because of our hard water where we live at, iron is so high in it. With that being said…. Had to reach out to Charley again unexpectedly. Didn’t realize he was on vacation, he still took my call.This is when I reached out to the office and Rae was very helpful. She had great customer service working with me and my wife.She got use scheduled with service technician, Steven Richardson. They came out again to service the issue no charge this time, to see if we could save our system. STEVEN gave us some great advice also, looked at the system and we thought was all good.However, for the third time…issue sprung up again. Steven even took my call the over weekend too. So they were always there when we needed them. Unfortunately, we couldn’t save our sump pump. Steven got us a new one installed ASAP. With all that being said…great teamwork, great customer service. I highly recommend Basement Doctor. Thanks everyone for all your help.

    Mike (foreman), Josh and Carson did a great job. We were very worried about dust on our things in the basement and had offered to put up plastic, but they brought their own curtains. There was no dust anywhere when they were done and the entire sump pump set up is really clean and tidy! Exceeded my expectations!

    This sump pump project was a new totally new amazing experience for me. I had a number of concerns about parts of the work that could become problems for my home and property (size of the pump in the corner of the basement near the steps and damage to the dogwood tree in my front yard). Johny assured me that with 100% of his ability he and his crew (Nick and Daboo) would protect the tree and make the pump work for our house.The job is great,completed in half a days time,passed city inspections and now we have a new working pump with battery backup that adds value and safety to our home.     Everything great about Basement Doctor starts with RAE, the scheduler, who moves heaven and earth to give customers the best service! I also got great service from Steve R, the best technician in the business, in maintaining my dehumidifiers. He explained everything while he was doing the work and went above and beyond the call of duty. For example, he gave me free reusable filters and even redid the piping so we could move the dehumidifiers — all free of charge!     Last week we had Drew Sanderell out to look at our crawl space and back foundation wall of our home - he spent 2 1/2 hours with us, carefully looking everything over and explaining everything he saw and what the process of fixing it would look like.     On a Friday, September 6, I heard a loud crack and My house shook. My house came off the foundation and I had a huge crack all around the basement, several inches thick, you could see the outside. I called The Basement Doctor, and Drew, project manager came out the same evening. Drew was very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable about how to repair this huge hole in our house and how to lift the house back on its foundation. His crew of Chase, Hunter, and Kyle were out the following week to start the job, which took three days to complete. They did an amazing job and explained what they were doing. The crew were also very knowledgeable, they cleaned everything up as they worked and even fixed all the dirt around the house and even planted grass seed! I was told this was one of the worst they have seen. I am so impressed with Drew and the work team, their work is truly amazing, they were all so nice and did such a wonderful job.     We called the Basement Doctor to repair a leak in one of our basement walls. Scott Lee arrived at our house to make an assessment and provide an estimate. We decided to not only have Basement Doctor repair the wall but also install a window well for our backyard basement window. Santos Calderon was assigned our job. He performed a preliminary job inspection two days prior and then arrived on time on the scheduled day to do the work. The finished project is awesome. The hole in the wall is securely repaired from both the inside and outside and the window well looks great. We are very pleased with the end product. Both Scott and Santos were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Each performed his job well. In our present climate, both acknowledged the precautions they are taking to keep themselves and the customers’ safe and more importantly, each followed them while on the job at our home. Zach and his team, Mike and Josh, were professional and courteous, checking with us about any requirements and explaining the process before they started, and were very careful about minimizing dust and dirt in the house and not disturbing our landscape plants.     Last year I bought a condo that was in good shape with one issue, the floor had a sag. I called three companies and got quotes from all of them. I ultimately went with Basement Doctor for a number of reasons. They were extremely responsive, professional and (what I think a lot of consumers want to know) they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. They also were honest about what the results would be. In my case it was possible that while the floors would be stabilized we might not see much lift. I really appreciate the setting of expectations like that. It took almost a year before I was ready to do the project and it was just complete today and it looks great. Jesse is awesome and very knowledgeable. Zach and his team were wonderful. Everyone was on time, professional, friendly and worked very hard. When you are a new homeowner with no experience with these kind of major projects it can be intimidating. But both Jesse and Zach made this process really smooth. For example, when Zach come to do the pre-inspection he asked what I was most worried about with this project. I was able to tell him my biggest fear was something going wrong and more damage being caused. We walked me through there process and what they do if something happens which really set me at ease. They did a great job!

    We recently experienced a break in the water line from the main shut off valve to our home and called The Basement Doctor. Jacob (project manager) explained the situation, our options and pricing. The repair required digging a ditch from the outside shut off valve to our house to replace the water line.A 4 man crew ( Rob, Final, Danny and Collin) arrived on time the day scheduled for the repair. Rob and Final answered all our questions and were very professional. They all worked steadily until the Jon was complete, leaving the yard in as good condition as possible. We are very happy with the crew that was sent and would highly recommend them.A few days later we discovered a leak on the basement unrelated to the outside line. Rob and Mike (The Chump Crew) arrived quickly and repaired the leak. We appreciate how helpful they were.We would recommend The Basement Doctor and would use them again if needed in the future.

    Im thrilled with our experience working with the Basement Doctor. Our project manager, Lane, spent more than 90 minutes inspecting our basement—he even was able to remove a door with a stripped screw stuck in it to reveal a crawlspace that needed attention. After he looked over every inch, he made a holistic recommendation to address our issues. We implemented his plan in stages, utilizing the basement doctors financing options so that we didnt have to pay interest. Lanes implementation team, Zach and Fred, arrived on time and treated our home with the utmost respect. Zach gave me options to make sure our new dehumidifier was placed in a spot that made sense for our family, explained how to use it and clean the filter, and was pleasant and friendly to speak with.     Had Foreman Chase and crew (Kyle, Brad, Mike) out for 6 days working on a crawlspace settling repair. Hard working no nonsense guys. I think the price I paid was fair and they did a good job and it has a solid warranty. Easy from start to finish. I got quotes from 2 companies and the other company couldnt even do the work so I didnt really have much of a choice but Im ok with that because it went so smoothly. I can tell already the work they did made a difference. Really have no complaints and I would use them again if needed (but hoping I dont)
