Jon Amick is an extraordinary craftsman. He helped us renovate two apartments in one of our buildings. Besides being reliable and trustworthy, he proved to be a fast and hard worker. Jon is an excellent artisan. He pays great attention to every detail. We admired his ability to problem solve sometimes very difficult and unexpected discoveries that came up during the renovations. Jon is thoughtful. As he listened to our wishes, he made several suggestions that resulted in big cost savings to us while delivering an exemplary job. I would recommend Amick Brothers without hesitation, no matter what the size of the job or what it entails.

Do not hesitate to call Amick Brothers no matter how small or how large your project is. Jon has true integrity, and treats every project with the same respect. I have hired him to do jobs as small as replacing a ceiling fan and as big as gutting and renovating my master bathroom. He is punctual, reliable, and honest. He is extremely organized, and when he is working on a long term project, he makes sure the work space is clean before leaving for the day. Additionally, I have always felt 100% comfortable leaving Jon in my house alone.I have hired Amick Brothers for a number of projects. Jon makes things so easy. He listens, has guided me regarding considerations and options, always gives accurate estimates and timelines, and the quality of his work is outstanding. All of these are very much appreciated when one has a budget.

Jon did multiple jobs for us. Each one was totally satisfactory. He installed vaulted ceiling fans. What looked like a tough job, John did with ease and it looked as though he hadn’t even disturbed anything.His ideas are great and his basic business process is clean and professional.However, the area that we are most pleased with is the “totally freestyle” kitchen table and cabinet he made. You have to see it to believe how creative and well built it is.

When my husband and I moved into a 1970s fixer upper, we knew we needed a vision to bring our home to the present. Jon Amick not only acknowledged our vision, he helped us to achieve it. He presented options, and helped us weigh the pros & cons of each. We asked Jon to repurpose cabinets we had purchased secondhand and he custom designed them to fit into the space we were working with-no small task! The skill and craftsmanship is evident in his work-as is his attention to detail. We love our new kitchen and will enjoy it for many years to come!

My husband and I have known Jon for more than 10 years and he has helped us with numerous household repairs and a major deck project. He also designed and built custom shelving in a guest bedroom which was beautiful and very useful. He is honest, neat and dependable. His prices are extremely competitive and we would recommend that you consider Jon for any home renovation project you have in mind!

Jon was fabulous. He was recommended by a friend and I was so happy with his work, I had him come back for several other projects.He renovated my kitchen - totally gutted it and rebuilt it from the floor up, and it came out gorgeous!He was always considerate of time and budget, but yet would by very up front if and when there were unanticipated costs. He was conscientious, and extremely creative - he could come up with a solution to problematic construction problems and there were never any surprises.I would highly recommend Jon, he does all the work himself and is truly a craftsman. He stands by his work and on top of everything, he is a really nice person.

Both times we discussed our thoughts and ideas with Jon and he was able exceed our expectations both times while keeping our budget in mind. His eye for design combined with his custom carpentry skills have helped transform our house into a home! Top notch professional service from start to finish. We look forward to using him again. Jon did an amazing job renovating our kitchen. He made beautiful custom cabinets with exotic wood counter tops. Whenever we have visitors, they always comment on how beautiful our kitchen is! Jon really takes pride in his work and it is reflected in the quality of his work.I typically get overwhelmed with making decisions for projects like this, but Jon really helped us make the best choices that worked within our budget for the project and the final renovation was perfect!!Really enjoyed working with him on our kitchen project and look forward to a master bathroom renovation in the future.
