    Im American and live overseas (The Netherlands). I had to help my elderly mother sale her home while she moved into assisted living. I very literally had to work long distance with my Curbio project manager to get my mothers home ready for sale. It was a pretty decent sized project. I had a good number renovations. I was shocked at how well Curbio stuck to schedule, and how good the response times and communication were. I am 6 hours ahead of the States EST time and everything moved seamlessly with Curbio. I could communicate through my project portal and Zoom calls, where I could see the progress made. When the project was complete, I traveled from the Netherlands to America to see the home. It was spectacular, better than I imagined it would be. The weekend it had a open house (April 2024), 18 offers come in the following Monday. The house was under contract in 1 business day. I know this is because Curbio did an outstanding job in updating the older home built in 1983. My project manager, Cameron, was fire! I highly recommend this company.

    It worked beautifully!I have almost 30 years of experience working in construction and interior design, and Curbio is a game changer. We decided to sell our home in April of this year, but we knew that there was a lot of work to be done to get a good offer. I could have tapped into my own list of contractors but decided to see what Curbio could offer beforehand. The process was as easy as it gets. The pricing is absolutely right in line with any good contractor, so we decided to give it a shot. Our project manager was absolutely incredible. He answered our questions quickly and any issues were promptly resolved. We were already out of state during the work, but we were able to see through the Curbio app how the project was progressing which helped us, and our agent stay informed. The project finished on time, and it looked beautiful. Our home had over 40 showings in 3 days, and we sold on the 3rd day for much more than we anticipated. Construction projects inherently come with unexpected issues and hiccups, but the Curbio crew resolved them without incident. This service is a gamechanger for the real estate market.     I used Curbio to prepare one of my listings for sale in Fremont. I had a great experience working with the office and the General Contractor. We first met on zoom with each party involved in the project and they explained the process and timelines for the work that was to be done. The General contractor was very friendly and approachable, kept us informed every step of the way. When we added or changed things during the project he was very accomodating and worked it in the schedule. They finished the work before the completion date and all was done very nicely and clean. They always cleaned up prior to leaving each day.Communication was key at all times during the project. I will use Curbio again for my next project! Just leave it to Curbio and rest assured your project will get done.

    First time working with them. Referred them to a client with a great townhouse to list that was just tired and needing a refresh after years of being a rental before we put it on the market to sell. Curbio worked with us through some issues and unexpected items coming up. It did take a lot longer than initially expected, but we got to the finish line. In the end we were able to list for $60,000 more than we could have without the cosmetic work done, and had it sold in less than a week despite the market going cold and two other exact same floorplan units coming on the market at the same time - we went under contract first, because the unit was updated.

    I am a Berkshire Hathaway Realtor and this was my first experience with Curbio and the process worked! Put $75K into a rancher in really bad shape... would have been lucky to sell to an investor for $200k. After renovations, which included flooring and paint throughout, one refreshed bath (the other bath still old, as was the kitchen), a few windows, new sliding door and misc lighting, etc, the house sold in two days for $7,500 over asking price at $350k! We closed today and needless to say, my clients were thrilled! John B, our Curbio project manager, was very responsive and promptly addressed any issues that arose. I would definitely request John again should another house come along that could benefit from Curbio.

    From beginning to end, Curbio was incredibly helpful and thorough in their proposal process. It went very smooth right from the beginning. My client had moved out, which I believe was helpful. Our project included wallpaper removal, interior painting of walls, doors, closets, ceiling. Replace all carpeting and install new LVT in the kitchen. The kitchen was updated with white cabinets, new granite counter, and stainless accents.. There were a couple hiccups (Covid hit the crew-twice) so our 3 week project ended up at 5 weeks, and there were a few changes to the carpet color/backsplash that were made at the judgement of the contractor. It turned out beautiful and OH MY GOSH-our listing is under contract for not just the $50,000 more that I thought we could get, but $145,000 more than I originally estimated the project would help us to bring in. We are $70,000 higher than our closet comp-it is unbelievable-buyers were freaking out on how great it looked. It was also professionally cleaned and I staged some photos virtually. In all, I am so happy with the project. I have learned the process now, and I will certainly use them again.

    Curbio is an awesome company to use for preparing your house for sale. You can spend as much or as little as you like. They will do their best to stay on budget. Its really up to you. Our project manager Amanda was the truth. Not only did she listen to me, she provided great insight to what should or could be improved upon. On our last walk through she brought a colleague who was coming on as a PM, and he was awesome too. Both extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable.     I just finished my first project with Curbio and it was great. By fixing up the house before selling, my clients netted about $103,000. Thats about $75,000 more than they would have gotten if they would have sold as-is to an investor. They are thrilled with the outcome.The ability to offer a fix now, pay later program is precisely what won this piece of business for me. I will definitely be offering Curbios service in the future to my clients whose houses need a little freshening up in order to command top dollar in the market.Holly, our project manager was fantastic and the crew of contractors working at the house were friendly and respectful of my clients who were still living in the house as work was being completed.     While I have had Curbio provide 4 quotes for potential services this most recent experience was with actually having them perform a refresh on a condo that was going to be listed for sale. Once the quote was to the sellers liking the work was scheduled and completed in under a week. The fact that you can have work performed by a licensed general contractor in such a short period of time and have billing held until close of escrow is huge. I would not hesitate to use Curbio again.

They have an efficient process and were up front about what things would cost. The contractors involved in our renovation were excellent and did a great job. When we discovered unknown issues with the home, the Curbio team rolled with the punches and took care of everything while giving us options on how to handle things. The project manager was always available, kept the project on time, and really saved the day when we ran into supplier issues. I would recommend Curbio to anyone who needs to have any level of work done on their home and needs to wait until closing to pay for the improvements.

    We used Curbio to help my clients get their home ready to be listed for sale. The project was quite extensive needing paint, flooring, and a bathroom remodel. Amanda was great on the front end giving advice on what to do and providing an initial scope. Will was amazing in guiding us through the project and overseeing the work. He was on top of things that needed to be corrected and kept us in the loop with how things were progressing. Curbio has a system set up where the whole process was very smooth and easy to use. The updates were great and done well!

    Its best to use this program if youre not on a tight timeline. Despite their promo, they are also subject to supply chain shortages. My client entered into contract the first week of Dec. The windows we agreed to install would not be installed until May, which Curbio did not disclose at the time of contract. My client needed to sell because of a job transfer, so waiting 5 months did not work for her. Curbio ordered the windows, and then informed her after the fact that she would have to wait until May to put her home on the market due to their business model not allowing for her to opt out of the windows. This created a situation where the Seller is now stuck with custom fit windows that will be paid for by the Seller and then become an expense for the Buyer after the closing. Curbio refused the offer to escrow the installers portion to be paid out from escrow once the work is completed. Of course Curbio still expected to be paid for services they actually did not complete. They offered the Seller a small discount off the agreed upon contract. This does nothing for the Buyer who will still be stuck with paying to have the windows installed.The local rep was very helpful in trying to work out the issues. The COO however failed to work in good faith.I will definitely keep Curbio in my tool bag, I will be more selective in how I use it in the future.

    I used Curbio on a listing that had been vacant for a little while and needed some TLC. The home had belonged to my clients elderly parents, who were both deceased. They were very professional and responsive throughout the process and even came back to do some additional work that needed doing. Worked out really well for my seller as she was short on funds to make repairs. Having their fee taken out at closing was a huge benefit to the seller. I would definitely use them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my colleagues.

    This is the second time I reached out to Curbio. What I love about this service is that Curbio is so willing to do the upfront service (ie: consulting, 3D imaging, bidding) at no cost to my clients. The first client really enjoyed the collaborative approach, even though, in the end they decided not to do the renovation. With that good experience, I had no reservations about recommending Curbio when I had another client seeking to maximize their properties value. The process was easy and (we thought) for the value add of sourcing all materials and managing the project, Curbio was an amazing partner! Our pre-renovation value was $190K and after about $25K in renovations, the property went under contact for over $250K in 12 days. While you always want the renovation completed sooner, Curbio set realistic expectation with both me and my seller. It took about a month to complete and get ready to go to market.

    Overall, my experience with curbio as an agent was good. The project manager Justin was a real human, kind, timely, and reasonable. The services we ordered for my listing were very basic but it turned out nicely.My only remark for improvement would be that some of the details could have been more thoughtfully taken care of. EX: we paid for cleaning but I still found quite a bit of dust around and there were a few very obvious things they could have taken care of but didnt - in our case, wiping drip marks of kitchen cabinets. Also, some of the yard scraps could have been picked up better.I will likely use Curbio again in the future.

    My seller wanted to be able to sell for a higher price but the house needed a little refresher. Some fresh paint and carpet would really work magic, but there were no funds to put in the work upfront. I heard about Curbio and decided to give my seller the opportunity.     This is my third project with Curbio and I had been happy with the results. The first project was a condo that went without a hitch and the property sold in 2 months (which included the Curbio project time). Property sold at list price. The second project, a single-family home, was thought to be easier, but the seller took on some projects on their own to save money. Its been 10 months on the market and they are expected to close next week. The 3rd project, another condo, was a mixture of the know what she wants client and the Curbio project leader constantly bumping heads. There were many project changes, but we are finally ready to list the property tomorrow. The project came out beautifully. Im crossing my fingers, but believe this will close in less than a month. All said, Ive been happy with Curbio and they really have helped move my clients properties. I mention Curbio in nearly every listing presentation!

    We were the Listing Agents on a dated split foyer. The Seller had moved out and gave us the decision-making authority about selections. Once a budget and scope of work had been established, our Curbio Project Manager did a Zoom meeting with us giving us 3 or 4 selections for each item we needed to select: flooring, light fixtures for each location, front door, paint colors, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, hardware... If we were not sure, she helped us with her design expertise. Then we waited for the reports of progress which also went to our Seller. The house sold for more than the Seller ever dreamed he could sell it for, so he was happy!

    My sellers and I worked alongside the Project Manager, Mr. Paul Morales from conception to completion. His communication throughout was excellent, as was his overall supervision of the contractors. The project was completed on time and under budget. At my Final Walkthrough with Paul, he noted paint touch up areas that I wouldnt have noticed, and sent the painters back to address each of the blue tape areas he tagged. Whenever the sellers or I shared an alteration we believed would be a better option, a change order would be swiftly sent over to make it happen. The crew cleaned up the home fantastically in preparation of the property being entered onto the active market. The quality of materials and workmanship has met everyones expectations from start to finish. Paul and Curbio have delivered on every single thing promised and my clients couldnt be happier.     The project manager was very responsive and accommodating. The craftsmanship was very good. I did not like the limited options, and the lack of physical selection location. As a result the backsplash we selected had a different shade than what we saw in the pictures. Not their fault, we did make the selection. However it would have been much easier if we couldve seen the materials in person. In general it was a pleasant experience.
