We had Gary do some electric repairs on our home. We had him change 100 amps to 200 amps. He was very thorough and considerate. He gave us a price and when the job was done it was the price he quoted us, he is very honest. We are very pleased with his work.

Im happy to strongly recommend Gary Taylor Electric. I have found Gary to be extremely conscientious and meticulous. Hes a great trouble shooter and has, over many years, proved invaluable. Hes always been available when I needed him, he arrives on time and is a hard worker. He has worked for me on both new construction and on old buildings and seems comfortable in all situations. I recommend him highly.

I am extremely happy with the work Gary did. He replaced several very old outlets and light switches on my 3rd floor. He also was able to install a new light for me that I thought may be an impossible task since it was also located on my 3rd floor with no access to the space above it. He was busy at the initial time I contacted him, but he kept in contact with me until time in his schedule opened up. He arrived when he said he would and even provided the switch plates I mentioned I preferred. Its obvious hes very knowledgable and takes pride in the quality of his work. He completed my project in less than a half of day and was quite reasonably priced. A great experience overall. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Gary at Gary Taylor Electric came over to our home to install an overhead light and move an electrical box and change from off white to white. He always followed up, returned our calls and came over in a short period of time. He was so pleasant and really listened to our needs and gave suggestions! We are having him back to do some additional work. Very satisfied!!!

Gary Taylor Electric just completed a job for me. Gary is great to work with. He is experienced, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and interested in providing quality work to meet code. Additionally, I was hoping to have the work done in a tight time-frame, and he was willing to meet that need. Gary is interested in providing quality work for a reasonable fee. Hes now our go-to electrician. I heartily recommend him, and also recommend that you bring him in on your job even when a general contractor may be planning to bring in someone else.

Gary is an excellent electrician. I have referred him to many friends who have been equally impressed with the quality of work done.Professional, gets the job done in a timely fashion & reasonably priced.He has helped me with various updates on this old house(s) over the past 15 years. He knows his way around upgrading knob & tube wiring. In old homes as it is not the easiest to snake wires through walls & ceilings with out removing the horsehair & lath. He finds a way and does not leave a mess of holes in the walls & ceilings to be patched.. He usually suggest other alternatives so no patching is required at all!He always recommends the updates the city/town code requires.A Portsmouth native is hard to find!
