    Have used Excel for many things from new whole house generator to labeling / permitting new electric panel. They are top notch from Office staff through project completion with Victor, George and Tommy leading the charge. Very professional, communicative and reliable….they tell you what’s going on and when things will occur and they are spot on, which is a rarity in Florida. Will be using them as long as they will have me as a customer.

    The only electrician that answered my calls and messages the day after Milton hit.Our generator went on and off and petered out on the Wednesday night. We called two companies at 2am (and online) Generac and RackElectric. While they took our info, I never got a call back from Generac, and I didnt hear from Rack Electric til Saturday. We also had a service contract for a year from Rack Electric, and they moved the pre-hurricane season appt 3 times and never showed up once.Compare to Jeff from Excel Electric:I called at 12pm on the Thursday, got an appointment for Friday at noon. Jeff called back at 3pm Thursday and asked if we had power. I said no, and he was at our house by 330pm and we had power by 5pm. That is service, and that is caring. We saved a whole fridge full of food, and were able to relax that evening.

    Exorbitant prices. One visit to flip-on a breaker, less than 10 minutes, was charged $360.00!Prices were on the high side on two previous service visits, but the quality of service was exceptional. Five-star workmanship, 2 star prices.

    Installed a chandelier and new flood light (which the old one was apparently a fire hazard, so glad we did this). Work was done promptly, well, and on average cost. Theres a reason Excel is rated so highly. It shows in the quality work.

    Excel Electric does great work at an affordable price with top notch customer service. We had some additional lighting added to our home and also replaced a few celing fans and updated all the outlets. George and his team worked quickly and efficiently and gave us the peace of mind that the job was done right. We plan on using them again for any future projects and would highly recommend them for all your electrical needs.

    Recommend Excel for generator service. Prompt, professional, well-trained field tech. Karen in the office & Victor in the field are very good.Excel maintains my 2023 Briggs & Stratton generator that had error codes & stopped exercising. As with other reviews, the visit began by Victor charging a diagnosis fee. He discovered the errors were from a bad part that B&S had recalled and was fully covered for parts & service. Victor reversed my fee before he finished fixing it. B&S paid for it. Victor fixed the problem in 1 visit. Same-day service was terrific.

    I needed to replace my gas lines to my generator. It was a big job. There’s a lot of digging Victor and his team spend about five hours installing a new gas line. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves. My generator is now getting the right amount of gas and it’s running perfectly. The company is very responsive and they do what they promise. I highly recommend to everyone who needs any work done they offer.

    This is the second time I’ve used Excel , Mike was the service technician who came to my house. He was outstanding, very fair very professional. Gave me an estimate. That was below other estimates, and I usually do not take the lowest, but he seemed very knowledgeable on what he needed to do set up an appointment got here the day of the appointment on time. Did the job had it inspected past I could not be happier with his company. I’ve been in people business for 33 years and this is a great company.

    Had a great experience from making an appt all the way to getting the job done. Bud came out, looked at what we needed and gave us an estimate. My wife and I discussed it and made our decision. Bud and Ty showed up on time and did everything they said and a little more. We were very impressed with there work and are very satisfied with it.     I called them after another local electrician company gave me an astronomical price to fix issues after 2 hours of troubleshooting and getting charged $300 for nothing(not offering a solution other than giving a quote for thousands of dollars to fix it in weeks!!). Decided to get second opinion. Excel electronic came and Bud sounded confident. They charged $350 but they got it all diagnosed and fixed. I think it is a good value. Before you settle with another electrician give Excel a try. I think they are honest and know what they are doing.

    We hired Excel to install a full home generator. The people at Excel are smart and extremely organized. The process from the initial call requesting an appointment to price up the new generator through certifying the job and passing the final inspection with Martin County was seemless. Unlike many other companies in business today - Excel prides themselves on being the best - and they actually follow through with that commitment. I cannot recommend them enough!

    Richard just left my house a little bit ago. While he was outside examining some outside lights, he noticed that that a tree was hitting a transformer causing sparking and smoke. He notified me and told me to call FPL and I got flustered explaining and handed him the phone and he clarified the situation. I then called 911 because of the sparking and got the fire department here. In the meantime my 17 year old dog got out and ran off due to the noise. The fire department found her a block away but she couldnt make the walk all the way home. Richard watched her while I got my car to drive her back.He was a lifesaver today and did above and beyond what he was required to do. I am very glad that my coworker gave me the name of your company and I will be praising you to anyone who asks for a recommendation for an electrician.

    Our experience with Excel Electric was phenomenal from start to finish! I called to make an appointment and Karen was very helpful and friendly on the phone. She was able to send a technician to my home the next day to diagnose our electrical issue. Our technician, Casey, was honest, knowledgeable, and very professional. He located the issue and to our suprise, he was able to fix it the same day!! Casey really saved us!!

    They maintain my generator. On a regular schedule for three years now. Everyone that has been out here is terrific. I just had Victor service the generator and had to replace a gas pipe and put in a flex hose to the generator. Very attentive to details and excellent customer service and very happy with everyone at this company including Karen, customer service.

    So far they are very professional and prompt. They are going to install a generator and will be done in 2 months. They seem to know their business.They completed the installation and we had a problem with propane tank they discovered and did all the things needed to get it corrected. They were very patient and had to come back a few times till the propane company did the repair and we’re still very accommodating and we got the job done.     Victor was amazing! He explained the different smoke detectors vs. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. I needed a total of 7. He was patient as I asked several questions, he was professional and personable. He cleaned up after himself. I cannot recommend Excel and Victor highly enough. Karen on the phone was responsive and delightful. Prices were fair! I came across Excel by reading Google reviews and hope I can help spread the word how wonderful this experience was!

    Needed them to fix issues that were preventing an HVAC permit from passing inspection due to improper work from another Electrician who stopped answering my phone calls..Excel was not the most economical option however they did extend a much needed and appreciated price discount and they absolutely score a 10/10for customer service, timeliness, and professionalism.     I could not be happier with the service I received today. I recently moved into an older home and needed some outlets swapped so I could do laundry. I called around 10am and they scheduled someone to come out same day between 2-4. I received a call around 1 that my technician was early and could be at my home around 1:30. Perfect!! He arrived at 1:30 on the dot. He looked at the job needed, quoted me an extremely reasonable price, and was able to complete the job on the spot. the Job took maybe 30minutes. I was expecting a return visit for the actual work to be done (ordering parts etc) but everything was handled the same day. My technician, Bud, was a complete gentleman and took care of everything with a smile! I will definitely be using this company in the future! Thank you!!!

    I was very impressed by the service from this company and Sean! He was on time for the appointments to give me a quote and to for the install! It was very easy to schedule the install time and even when I had to reschedule it was simple.When Sean provided the estimate, he explained what he was going to do and the break down of the estimate. He let me know ahead of time that there would be holes in my wall where he needed to run the electrical which I expected, but I appreciated his honesty! Even though there were holes in my wall when he was done, they were minimal, I was expecting something much worse for the work he needed to do.For the installation, he covered my floor and counter top minimizing the mess from the work and before he left any debris there was cleaned up!I would highly recommend Sean! I have a few more projects I need done and I am absolutely going to be hiring Sean! Great job!

    My experience with Shane at Excel was excellent. He called to let me know when he was coming, showed up promptly and got right to work.     We bought a 9 year old home that we really loved except it had some wiring issues The prior owner had done a few things and ran a few wires not exactly up to code and not awful--just hard to figure where some of the wall switches went, etc. The guys at Excel said they were coming, came and did pretty much what they said they would do for the price they said they would charge.     I used Excel Electric when I was making major modifications to my recently purchased home. Lance was great. He installed everything in a very efficient manner, was knowledgable, and even explained issues to me so I could clearly understand them. When I couldnt find the receiver and remote for my ceiling fan, he told me he would come back and install it when I purchased a new one. When the new one came and it still wasnt right, he called the company himself and told them what we needed. I was very impressed with the company and the electrician. I would absolutely use them again. In fact, I am. I asked them to install one more light fixture, I just purchased!

    I selected Excel because of high customer ratings. They have not disappointed. The rep seemed more focus on providing good advise vs trying to get a sale. He provided tips on how to save money even at the expense of the company. Wore a mask and used booties while walking through the house. They have been knowledgeable and professional.

    For years I wanted to have additional lighting put into my home but was afraid it would just be too expensive. I received a quote from Tommy and it was well within reason. Three days later Tommy and George were at my front door right on time. And finally I can say...let there be light!! They did a wonderful job, finished in 3 hours what I thought it would take all day and even vacuumed the carpet as part of the cleanup. I cant remember the last time I received such wonderful service. They even wore masks the entire time they were here. I would not hesitate to give them a referral of SPECTACULAR!!

    Reached out to Excel Electric to have some outside lighting replaced. (Never heard of them, cold called them after seeing their trucks in my area). Very positive experience all around with Mark Lowe the electrician who did the estimate and the installation and will certainly reach out again for electrical needs. Mark was absolutely knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt with our install (had an 8am appointment, he arrived 10 minutes early). Only minor negative not related to Mark, when i initially called their office and explained the lighting job I advised the rep on phone one of the fixtures was an elevated height of about 18 - 20 feet and the rep. told me its ok, our electricians all have ladders. But our job required a 24ft extension ladder which Mark did not have the day of the estimate. The phone rep apparently didnt share that info with Mark otherwise he could have done the job for us the day of the estimate. Aside from this communication issue, very happy to have dealt with Excel and the quality result of our lighting install.

    Following a home inspection it was determined that some strands of aluminum wire needed to be replaced with copper wire for closing purposes. After a recommendation, we contacted Excel Electric LLC for an estimate. The man giving the estimate, Bud, called prior and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained precisely what repairs were needed. Knowing we were under time constraints due to a closing date, Bud scheduled us for the work in less than a week. The work was performed by Excel electricians Joel and Austin, who called prior and arrived on time. Joel explained the work to be performed, and the pair worked diligently, quickly and quietly. They took the time to sweep any mess they made, and showed us their work upon completion, and thanked us for our business.The estimate matched the final bill, and the price was extremely fair. We will not hesitate to contact Excel Electric for any future electrical work.

    I have been doing business with Excel Electric for a couple of years now. When I call them, they are usually Johnny on the Spot! Sometimes I cant believe how fast they get out to diagnose and repair my issue. On my last call 2 weeks ago, my regular tech.,John, showed up quickly to diagnose why my pool pump wasnt running, I was worried that if it went too long the pool might start turning green. sure enough, shortly after John showed up he figured out that it was a wire from my pool pump that had shorted out and fixed it right away. It was even under warranty because I had John come out a little less than a year ago to replace my outside main breaker box and hook the pool pump and the sprinkler pump up to the breakers in the main box, so John covered it under warranty.. Excel warranties all of their work for one year.If you need an honest, reliable, fairly priced Electric Company that you can count on... call Excel!
