    Quality Ceiling Refinishing (QCR) is a top-rate business from the front line to front office. This second-generation, family-owned company serves customers in a multi-county area. I was very pleased with the project they finished today at my house.Their workers are not only masters of their craft but also excellent listeners. The crew assigned to refinish our ceilings in Valrico, Randy, Ray, and Jose, were efficient and obviously a team who had worked on many jobs together. Prepping and cleanup was thorough and the results, amazing!The office manager, Lisa, had scheduled our job 2 months in advance to accommodate the travel plans my wife and I had in place. Despite the incredible demand for their services AFTER two hurricanes, the owner, Anthony, honored the job dates set for this week. He is a dynamic fellow who has hired and retained a dedicated staff. In my humble opinion, this New Port Richey based company is deserving of a Small Business of the Year award from the many communities it serves. Plenty of companies claim their mission is total customer satisfaction but few WALK THE TALK like Quality Ceiling Refinishing.

    I hired Quality Ceiling to remove the popcorn ceiling in my house (about 1300 sq/ft). They scraped the ceilings, sprayed a coat of Kilz primer, textured & finished w/ a coat of flat white (in addition to a few drywall repairs). The workers were prompt, polite & professional... The whole job was completed in 2 days & they did an outstanding job! Cleanup on my end was minimal & the price was very fair (they even showed me some love for being active duty) 10/10 recommend! Will use again for future jobs.

    Overall very happy with the value and work done by David and Eddie, and the support Anthony provided. Although Anthony had to refer me to another contractor to first have the asbestos-containing popcorn ceiling abated, afterwards he and the Quality Ceiling team were able to make our ceiling look nicer than before. We had a concrete ceiling in a first floor condo. Anthony worked with us on pricing (Veteran friendly company!) and was able to meet with us and then get the work scheduled - all very quickly. David and Eddie arrived punctually. David explained that an oil based primer was needed for the concrete ceiling, and I was able to warn some neighbors of the awful smell/fumes it would cause the first day. David handled the odor complaints professionally and communicated important updates to me regularly. And the smell was fine the next day, as promised. We had the added complexity of multiple ceiling beams in 2 bedrooms and the living area that my handy husband had built beforehand, but David and Eddie got everything skim coated, textured, and painted - all within 2 full workdays - ceilings for a living room, hallway, 2 bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and bathroom. There were only 1 or 2 small areas where the texture isn’t “perfect,” and a couple areas where the paint drip was thick on a beam, but overall I’d give 9 out of 10 stars if I could. We were also impressed with the job they did on the bathroom ceiling - you can’t even tell there used to be a light box there; they matched the texture so well! They also did a pretty good job cleaning up - again, just a few minor smudges on doorknobs or windows, but those wiped off easily enough the day after the work was complete. And they made sure to hose off the walkway to minimize any dusty/paint footprints. Would definitely recommend them to others looking for “quality ceiling” work. Including some before & after photos!

    Hurricane Milton did a number on my mother in laws home in Tampa. Quality Ceiling Refinishing showed up promptly with an estimate, when I was having difficulties trying to get anyone to come out here following the chaos of a natural disaster like we had. I called them because they had done a beautiful job with my ceiling a couple of years ago. The crew that was sent the first day were, Mitchell and Miguel. They arrived on time and quickly went to work. I noticed that they cleaned up as they worked. By the end of the first day they removed debris and disposed of it and cleaned up some more. That is a sign of a good construction company. So far, they get 5 stars.

    We had David & Eddie come out to fix a leak we had in the ceiling. They addressed all the cracks, retexture & painted. What a great job. Was pleasantly surprised with the workmanship.     I contacted Quality Ceilings for a quote on refinishing almost a complete house. One of the owners responded the very next day with excellent pricing. Once we were ready for them, a crew of five amazing gentlemen arrived first thing in the morning, very personable and polite, and proceeded to do a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them!

    Great price, outstanding results!!I cant thank you and your team enough for your outstanding work on removing all of our old & dated popcorn ceiling, retexturing and painting. Tom and Juan were some of the hardest, honest workers I have had the pleasure of working with in a long time. They showed up bright and early ready to work. The entire room was carefully and meticulously sealed as if it were from an episode of DEXTER. Will the adhesive used to hold the plastic up along the walls (used to protect from overspray) pull off some OLD paint , yes. Dont Care (it wasnt that much). It took all of 5 min to touch up where old paint was peeled off in a couple spots. This is a messy job and it is to be expected. The team took all available precautions to protect our furniture and other belongings from the ceiling removal, texture and paint spray. When Tom and Juan wrapped up all the plastic at the end of the job, there wasnt a SPOT of paint or texture anywhere! Truly amazingFinished product: looks magnificent! There was a spot in the ceiling that concerned the crew while they were working. It was a patch of old sheetrock they thought could be an issue once everything dried in a couple of days. They were right, it absorbed more of the paint than the other areas and it had a yellowing effect. Instead of blasting a reputable company with a 1 star review and letting them suffer the consequences, I decided to give them a call and see what options we had at evening out the color. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, they came right back out the next day, re-wrapped the entire room, resprayed the ceiling and what do you know- looks flawless!Thank you so much for standing behind your crew and product to give your customers exactly what they agreed upon in the initial quote. You guys are an outstanding business and I guarantee I will be calling you back for another popcorn ceiling removal for my parents house.~~BRAVO~~

    We have a house which was damaged by the flood of Huricane Helene and needed all our walls replaced and textured. Quality exceeded our expectations during and after the process. All of the crew were exceptional but Mitchell and Miguel made an extra effort to haul away excess materials and trash on a moments notice. I would recommend Anthony and his team to anyone needing this type of work done.

    Wow!!! What was tragic is now tremendous! This place went from old broken plaster and drywall cracks to a pristine textured and painted beauty. I could not not have expected more.     Previously we had Quality Ceiling Refinishing work on our ceilings and walls in a condo we are renovating. Shortly after they were finished, my girlfriend and I decided to make some changes in our renovation.This would require a few areas on our ceilings and walls to be addressed.     Quality Ceiling Refinishing just finished doing both my ceilings and walls. They were highly recommended to me by family whod used them before. They now earned my recommendation too. Beginning with their salesman Anthony going above and beyond to get the job scheduled fast. Then there was their crew. What professionals. They were on time every day. The job they did looks amazing and they were in and out quickly. A shout out to their crew leader David. Hes a perfectionist, he wasnt satisfied until I was beyond satisfied. Top notch craftsman!     We had a large water leak on our bedroom ceiling. Pablo from Quality Ceiling came out. He was able to match the existing ceiling and wall texture perfectly to what we had. You would never be able to tell the difference. He also was able to keep the cleanup to that area. It was left clean and orderly when he left. He was very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

    Excellent! Trust the good reviews. We found Quality through an online search and got a free quote the next day. The men who completed the work were exceptional. They arrived early in the morning, a little before the scheduled time, and got right to work. They were hardworking and considerate and brought their own hose and buckets to clean everything up outside so that nothing went into our septic system. They removed popcorn ceiling through a large portion of the house. They also repaired some damage to the ceilings in both a master bath and the kitchen where a soffit had been removed. The difference is amazing! These guys know what they are doing and they dont waste any time doing it!

    We hired Quality Ceiling Refinishing this past week to do the ceiling in our garage after having a great experience with the company last year removing the popcorn ceiling inside a home we had recently purchased. They arrived promptly, even earlier then expected, and removed the popcorn ceiling, applied knock down, and painted the garage ceiling. They did a great job from start to finish, including the clean up afterwards. Very courteous and professional. We would definitely recommend this company!

    Ceiling looks great in the bedrooms/bathrooms, not so much in the main room. Room looks super splotchy, this was explained to me by the installer that it was due to only mudding the problem areas before texture is applied. This leads to weird shadows/splotchy looks in areas that are not fixed. I think expectations should be set better during initial consultation.Edit: Anthony got in contact with us and since we werent absolutely happy they came back out and fixed everything, great response by the company.

    Miguel, working alone on a Saturday, did an amazing job doing both our lanai (veranda) and front porch ceilings: they both look like new. Our ceilings are 12 and 14 respectively.     Today Quality Ceiling Refinishing Inc.,came to my residence ~ to do a popcorn ceiling removal, in my main living area. They also, retextured a guest bedroom ceiling and refinished a kitchen overhead lighting area, which suffered major water damage!The technicians names were David & Eddie!     Second time I called this guy in 10 yrs. In and out in 2 days! Jobs is done quickly, no down payments requested, pay full at finished, by phone to their office, without contractor finishings checkup.They know their business, they know the job, in general looks good, but for some reason they chose to lower the Quality embedded in their Logo. Some sloppy finishing which them call Portuguese costumer like, no covering floors.... corners unfinished properly, light boxes cover with calk and/or bad squared, you need to be there watching for things you want in your way.....things here and there for which you will have to move!I enclosed my carport, and they gave me a professional look to it.Very Thankful and appreciate of their job!I will call them with confidence again, if needed.A note to Anthony, the contractor: You sounds like a bully! You arent. Your talking is somehow confrontative and borderline the rudeness. Please be nicer talking to customers.Thanks, the crew for their job!

    This is the most professional company I have had dealings with in a long time. They were on time, did excellent ceiling work with removing the popcorn that was up 42 years and replacing it with knock down-lace design.     We are very satisfied we hired this company to renovate our lanai ceiling which has been in serious disrepair for several years. Today their employee - Matthew - showed up as scheduled early this morning and did a fantastic job. He stripped off what remained of the old texture, reattached and repaired the sagging drywall, then re-textured and painted it. He was hardworking, thorough, polite and professional.     We had to re-pipe our house and there were 15 holes in dry wall that needed to be fixed. David and Matt from QCR were great.     Im giving Tom and Juan five stars for great work and professionalism, but Quality Refinishing deserves ZERO STARS. Anthony (who I think is also the owner) came out, looked at the damage, and quoted me a price for ripping out and replacing the drywall. When Tom and Juan came out to do the job, they determined that it didnt need ripping out, just plastering and painting. Anthonys quoted price was much too high for just that. After I argued with him, Anthony agreed to come down in price a bit, but not enough. Ive had a handyman do plastering and painting for quite a bit less.Tom and Juans tips should come out of the check I wrote to the company. Anthony made the mistake, so he should be the one to eat the cost.I will definitely NOT be recommending or using Quality Ceiling again because the estimator (Anthony) bases estimates on work that isnt needed or isnt provided. If he didnt know that the drywall didnt need to be replaced, he shouldnt have based my estimate on that.

    Paul and Dave did a good job on popcorn removal and new knockdown on foyer walls but I never understand why you do not bring in a dry wet vac to clean up. Despite the full plastic draping, residue and popcorn clean up was not going to work with a sweep broom and a dust pan . I spent 3 hrs plus cleaning the floors and window sills as well as removing tape that was left on. You guys can do better than that.

    WOW is all I can say! They really over delivered with my project. I fell through my ceiling in the garage when trying to get things in order for Hurricane Ian. On top of that, the builder who assembled our home in the mid 90s didnt do a great job nailing up our sheet rock and multiple seams. The guys remedied all the deficits and repaired my ceiling as promised. The ceiling texture matched perfectly and they painted the whole three bays to match although the damage was only around 20 square feet or so. Would 100% hire them again!

    Tom and Roy were a great team. My front porch ceiling had water damage. They took great care and time to protect the entire porch with visqueen, replaced drywall and then textured and sprayed the entire ceiling. What was an eyesore is now intact and bright.     Recently had the dry wall repaired and retextured in 2 bathrooms. Miguel and Alex showed up right on time and went straight to work. They explained what they would do, took care to protect the floors and fixtures and watched out for my inquisitive cat who cannot stand an open door, They were in and out in few hours and the walls are now painted and look great.

    I would highly recommend Quality Ceiling Refinishing! They did a great job fixing my ceiling and repairing the drywall. I had multiple spots of water damage on my ceiling and drywall, due to a leaky A/C unit. Anthony came out initially and he was great to work with. His 2 employees that came to do the actual work were great! They even fixed a few spots in the drywall that I missed. The work was fantastic, but I was also very impressed with the communication. Ive dealt with many contractors that are extremely hard to get in touch with. They were in constant communication through the entire process. They did exactly what they said they were going to do at the time they said they would do it. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for ceiling or drywall work!!

    I am making a revision. Lisa from Quality called me and came over with touch up paint the same day, she looked at the issues (small things), and Anthony also called and immediately set up a time for a crew to come out and get everything done. Thank you Lisa! The quote was basically the same as other companies. We have to have ceiling repairs and wall extension, it was a pretty large job. I had asked about little fixes and Anthony said no worries, “just tell my guys, and take care of them and they will handle it”. Well of course the small fixes never got done. And BTW, we took very good care of “his guys”. We had asked for ceiling paint to be left for touch up since other work was being done. They said they left some , but they did not.The work was good. There were small issues when they had completed the job. Anthony said to call if there were anything we noticed. We tried calling several times and never got a response. So, we are left to figure out how to touch up where other work has been done, figure out how to fix the flaws we found or get the ceiling repainted and hire someone else to the flaws. As I said this was a large job and we did not quibble over the price. So I am left disappointed in not getting a response.
