We couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received from this company. Carmen came out and assessed our situation. Mark, who showed up to complete the job did an amazing job. Ours was a tricky vanity and sink install that required some finesse since the previous owners used shoddy workmen who Frankensteined the plumbing and pipes behind the old vanity. Mark took his time, did the job with care and showed a lot of pride in the completed project. We won’t hesitate to call them back. -

WOW! Carmen and Vinnie did a super job in solving our complicated drainage/vent issue and mysterious leaking in the kitchen sink. I was finally able to run the washer without it backing up and no more gurgling coming from the kitchen sink when running the washer. They surely are a dynamic duo and proved to me that not all superheroes wear capes! Fair pricing, honesty and integrity and good hard work. Thanks so much! -

We called for an emergency and within 20 minutes Carmen was at our house in no time ready to get to work. He was professional and very nice. We were so surprised when he pulled up. He had all the parts he needed and was able to fix our issue within an hour. Will use them again for sure and would highly recommend this company and Carmen. -

Sadly, my experience with this company did not go how I had hoped or wanted. Following a blockage or clog in my hot water supply lines to the entire house in early to mid June and this company sending out a tech that was able to fix the blocked line, I experienced the same issue in the first week of August. I naturally call them up thinking they knew the original issue, they can solve it again. They sent a tech out on a Friday for just over an hour to flush the hot water lines in the home resulting in no fix as well as no other ideas on how to detect what was causing the problem. The same tech then came out the following Tuesday for 4 hours, flushing the hot water line the same way, and ended the service call by saying they have no idea what the issue is, they dont have any options left beyond starting to re-route the plumbing from the water heater to the next junction in the home (probably the washer) or possibly repipe the entire home that I would have to have another company come complete (which they didnt have the man power for). I almost broke down and had them repipe part of my home. I called the tech that had now come out twice and asked them about the partial repipe, the tech promises to communicate options and timelines after checking in with the boss and then kept me waiting all day with no answer. I then left a message on their business line asking about next steps after getting another licensed plumber from a different company to unclog the line via compressed air (a next step that I would have preferred, but no equipment was available at the time), which ended up being successful, so thank goodness I tried that option. No one called me back until I called them the same day during listed business hours, they again promise to talk it over and get back to me about when they could come back out. I had been without hot water for 8 days straight and wasnt going to wait any longer on these slow response times, to which I booked the other plumber that actually unclogged the lines to install a brand new warrantied water heater. They finally messaged me back 7 hours after I talked to them that morning saying they could fit me in the next day. I told them that I no longer needed the appointment after they took too long to respond to my needs. I got a immature and unnecessary reply back that I was wasting their time and I would likely have to repipe my entire home (despite the fact that they never figure out the issue and I had to spend over 1000$ in the process). You trust a contractor when times get stressful like the A/C going out (especially in Florida) or you dont have hot water in your home, and I was left feeling uncertain, scared, used, and angry after this experience. Im sure this company has experience and belief in themselves, but the current level of customer service failed me beyond what I expected.Update: **Star rating improved** I was able to talk with the owner and following a little communication was able to be heard and understood in what had bothered me originally. My issue of communication during times of stress and a poor response at the end by an employee were meaningfully address by the owner. I appreciated the integrity to hear me out and understand where I was coming from. Although I think (specifically after this experience) that both water based and air based solutions should be tried on water supply line blockages before bigger fixes are made, I do believe that Bill and his team tried their best for me and I think they are very capable and professional plumbers. -

Very happy with their service and can only recommend. I was referred to them after having to pay for estimates by several other plumbing companies after my handyman told me he could not do the job for me. I called, had a free estimate is 48 hours and was told when they could be here to do the work. They were on time, clean and I had the feeling they went way beyond what the had promised to do. Carmen was great and even stopped by the following day to check if all was okay. He discovered a unrelated problem and fixed it without charge extra. I will use them again should the need arise! Nice to have someone dependable to call. -

Attempted to put a new trim kit on a shower that is original to the building (40 years old). Twisted off the front of the control. Called Bill Shafer plumbing Sunday night, got a return call within an hour. Cliff called to say on the way at 8:45 am on Monday (next day) and promptly replaced with new shower valve. Ill use them again! -

I had a fantastic experience with this company. Mr. Schafer answered my call promptly and treated me very professionally. He gave me a more than fair estimate and had a technician at my home in hours. The technician absolutely knew what he was doing and had everything he needed on his service vehicle. He completed the job in a couple of hours and left the premises clean. I was very surprised that Mr. Schafer called me personally after the job was completed to make sure everything was good and if I had any questions.It was more than good. Everyone I talked to with this company cared enough to make sure I had hot water that night. And all I did was call for an estimate. I wish all local businesses would act as professional and responsible as Schafer Plumbing. -

Bill Schaffer plumbing did an excellent job for us. We had a house fire and some of our pipes melted underneath, Bill Schaffer plumbing came out and did a great repair job on the sewer lines and then found some other lines that were melted in the water feed so they took care of them. Carmen and Rob the two technicians were very courteous and professional and made sure the job was done correctly The first time. I will definitely use Bill Schaffer plumbing in the future. We had a supply water line break in our outside water box and were not aware of it. Called Bill Shafer Plumbing and they were out to the house and repaired the line in under an hour.
