Matheis Electric, what can we say. We called told Robin the issue we had, Ed was here the next day to evaluate (2 days after a hurricane). In less than 2 weeks he was back here to resolve the problem. We had minor issues NOT his fault but, he still made 2 extra trips to work with us to resolve our issues. We also have him coming back to do another unrelated task because he and Robin are exceptional, professional, open and transparent, and reasonable chargesfor this day and age.

I’m not sure where to even begin. Ed Matheis was absolutely phenomenal. We called him the day after Hurricane Milton and he arrived within an hour. He took such great care of us. Every single homeowner needs to have a great electrician in their contacts. Ed Matheis, owner of Matheis Electric LLC, is the go-to electrician in mine. Ed was quick to respond to my plea for help when I was told my breaker box needed to be replaced. In no time, he was at my house giving me the rundown on what needed to be done and all the ins & outs of the replacement. The stress of yet another issue to deal with, in addition to the emotional pain of losing a loved one, made for a tough situation. Ed and his crew went above and beyond getting my new swim spa hooked up to electrical service. He had to make several trips back and forth to my home. Not because of HIS job but the spa people were not good coming a day late for one. Ed is very detail oriented very knowledgeable and very organized. I have already secured him to do some interior electrical work. Matheis Electric is a local business and we need to support local businesses especially this one! I would give ten stars if I could!😊UPDATE!! My swim spa was not working, the dishwasher was not working and the plate on my garage door was hanging down. Ed came over did his magic getting the spa working which also got the dishwasher going AND he drilled the screw back on my garage door on his way out! What a GREAT GUY!!!

Robyn and Ed have been nothing short of amazing!! We needed our entire breaker panel replaced along with an external generator plug installed. Robyn took the time to explain the entire process to us and Ed came with his team and in just a few short hours had our job started and completed from start to finish. Ed is extremely knowledgeable and explained step by step how the new panel would work, the reasons why it needed to be replaced and how to use the new external generator plug. This team made everything happen quickly, seamlessly, they’re extremely professional and also very affordable. We had electrical work done by this family owned business and they were wonderful. Ed, his wife Robyn and helper Lou were terrific, very honest, dependable and extremely helpful. We had an issue we hadnt planned on and they came back at 9 PM and corrected the problem. They followed up on everything including the inspection the next week after completion of the work. We would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs any electrical work completed.

I had to hire Ed after I saw another job he had done at another property. His quality of work was perfect and did more than expected. Truely honorable and very reasonable. I did not have any expectations or demand on time but he managed to complete my job fast even as big as it was. To find someone in this market willing to do what some would call a small job is hard to do but Ed was willing and he did. Good luck finding a better contractor.

I met Ed trough a simple fan install that turned out to be not so simple! He did a great job and had to do a lot of extra, unexpected construction and wiring. He has since done some major work for us including a full panel changeout and mast replacement. While doing that job, he noticed some wiring and receptacles out of code and repaired/replaced them charging for materials only. Ed has my highest recommendation for any electrical job, large or small!

Great company! Needed new weather head installed following the hurricane. They installed it prior to FPL getting to my house so I was able to have electric when it was restored in my area. Honest, prompt, and Great price.

Ian passed by and took out my power. I called and the owner answered the phone. He had people out the next day to pull my weather head so I could do roof repairs. The next day, they came back and reinstalled it. FPL showed up a few hours later and the lights were on! Reasonable rates and fast service! What more can you ask for?

I had several outlets not working as well as a ceiling fan and my outside lights. Called Matheis Electric and they came out shortly after. While I was waiting for them to arrive I wanted to test several outlets to see which ones arent working. After I tried the last outlet, I put the light I was using back where it belonged and accidently hit the one switch and it suddenly turned on. Right at the moment the Matheis Electric just pulled up. Ed came in and I explained what happened. I was saying why not just switch out the breaker for the areas of where they werent working so I dont have the problem again. Ed explained it could have been something totally different and we need to see if it happens again. I said ok, how much do I owe you for coming out? Ed said nothing because I didnt do anything. To me that was foreign because Ive had strange things happened before with OTHER companies still charged me a service fee. So, I want to thank Matheis Electric! Next time I have an electrical issue Ill be sure to call to give you a call!! We need more great people like this in the world!! Thank you!

The owner, Ed, just left from installing a new electric panel. He was so courteous and polite. I had some weird timing issues that I was worried about but he was so helpful and did not at all mind working around my schedule and situation. He arranged everything and made sure to get what was needed done the right way and in a very efficient time frame.
