Can’t say enough good things about this group. They arrived on time and finished on time. They left my home clean. They went above and beyond in helping me place my very heavy dining table accurately under the newly installed chandelier. I would hire them again without reservation.

I had to have some major electrical work done on my house. They were suggested by a neighbor. I found on the administrative side Craig and Shannon were very easy to work with. For the Job that I had done I had three very professional electrician stop by and complete the needed work in a fees days. I would recommend this company based on my experience.

We recently used Van Buren electric to install outdoor lighting, an overhead light for the kitchen, to move a large, heavy chandelier and install recessed lighting in my office. They were prompt and professional and the price was fair. I even received a follow up call the following morning to inquire about my satisfaction on the work performed. Im quite impressed with this business and will certainly use them again.

They do excellent work - and most recently, I had to coordinate a few contractors and they did everything they could to help me get the electrical work done earlier (two days earlier than they scheduled). Van Buren Electric did work throughout our house, and it all turned out great! Our home had almost no overhead lighting and we had been relying on lamps for years. We had some estimates done and were pleased with their attention to detail and plan so we decided to go with Van Buren. In our bedrooms, we installed ceiling fans, and in our family room and play room we added recessed lighting. They came to our home at 8:30 and were wrapped up at around 3. They worked so quickly but also with care. We are so pleased with how everything turned out. They were mindful of COVID safety, and were respectful of our space and time. When everything was done, they cleaned up our home very nicely as well. We would definitely call Van Buren for our next project requiring electrical work and will recommend them to our friends. Their work is fantastic!

I am more than pleased with the work done by Van Buren Electric Co. First off, I had three different other companies come out to my house to assess the work. I wanted a 200 amp replacement panel as well as several new dedicated 20 amp circuits. I also wanted existing circuiting extended to add new lights in several areas. We are talking wiring from one end of my house to the other side with a finished basement. All the other companies that came out to give me a quote wanted to run conduit outside my house all the way around to make it easy for them. Van Buren Electric came out and never once even suggested that. Craig looked at the job and said he would run everything through the walls and ceiling. He did mention there might be a couple drywall cuts, but I knew that was to be expected. I hired them on the notion this was the only company that wasn’t taking a short cut and I wanted a quality job with keeping my house looking great. The two days of work was awesome, this company sent 4 guys that knew what they were doing. They were so pleasant, showed up right at 8am when they said they would and even completed the entire job with absolutely no damage to my drywall! They worked so hard to make sure nothing was damaged and they did a spectacular job! I will be recommending them to everyone I know, thank you Van Buren Electric. I look forward to working with your company for any of my electrical needs!

Craig and his guys always come through for me, my customers & family! Most recently I added a C/A to a rental home in Westland and Craig supplied the electrical to the C/A unit. The inspector from Westland said that most of the time the electric work in not to code, but he could tell this work was above done above and beyond correctly! Prices were fair and reasonable (far less than what we paid with some remodel work done recently). I reached out to Van Buren recently to have a TV installed above our fireplace and add a couple outlets in bathrooms. I was very happy overall with the experience. The 2 electricians that came to my house were very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. Ill definitely use them again the next time I have a need.

My lights in the house started flickering. It took DTE 4 days before they came out and said they needed to replace a connection at the pole. In the meantime, I started to smell an electrical burning smell near my fuse panel. I called 5 different electrical companies and nobody was available. Van Buren Electric called me back and said they had a cancellation and would be available. They sent an electrician right over and he immediately determined that I had a meltdown in my electrical panel. He took me outside and showed me that the service wire coming into the house was worn and water was getting in and shorting out the panel. Van Buren rearranged their schedule so they could get this problem resolved. The two electricians showed up the next morning on time. They kept me informed of the process while installing the new panel. They cleaned up the site when they were done. Great company! They will be my go to company for all my electrical needs.
