Graham recently built us a custom banquette for our kitchen nook and from start to finish, he was exceptional. He provided helpful ideas during the initial site visit, created detailed renderings to help us visualize the design, gave us a fair quote, and actually delivered the piece ahead of schedule. His craftsmanship, and attention-to-detail was exceptional and were so happy with the piece he created for us. He is now our go-to carpenter for all projects moving forward. My wife and I recently completed an addition to our home in Oswego. We hired Graham Willson (Willson Woodworking) to design and install the trim due to their excellent reputation. From a very basic concept and a few sketches, Graham was able to create a design that met our vision for this room. One of the design elements was to install beams on the ceiling. Because of the octagonal shaped ceiling, it required a great deal of expertise to turn our concept into a reality. The ceiling beams and ceiling design exceeded our expectations and turned out great.We would definitely recommend Willson Woodworking for any trim projects.

Willson Woodworking did an amazing job! Graham turned our non functional coat closet into a beautiful, functional space with a bench and cubbies. My husband and I had always wanted this kind of space in our mudroom and we are incredibly happy with the way it turned out! He took the time to draw us multiple renderings and the price was incredibly reasonable. Great quality work and we will absolutely use them again for any future projects. Highly recommend!!! Graham’s work speaks for itself and I couldn’t be happier with the custom mid-century mod bar cabinet he created for us. We receive a TON of compliments on the bar cabinet when entertaining and it’s quickly become the feature piece of our space and we love it! The craftsmanship is impeccable. This was the first time I’ve commissioned a custom piece and I wasn’t sure what to expect—Graham’s professionalism and demeanor was top notch and he was very thorough on what to expect, his overall process, and answered all my questions. He’s a busy one-person shop so I really appreciated the time he took to create a detailed cost outline, transparency on time to completion, and ongoing communication (including photo updates) throughout the project regarding ideas that would make the bar cabinet unique to us. Not only were they the cheapest, they were down to earth, quick to respond, and just genuinely nice. Graham was fantastic. We hired him to remove and replace all of the old trim , window and door casings upstairs as well as replace 18 doors. The doors and trim were original from the 70s. He was a perfectionist through and through, and was incredibly honest for the entire process. The quality of work is great, and we are really happy with the overall result. Would absolutely recommend his work, and I’m sure we will hire him again when we want to replace the stair railings.

Graham took the curved, twisted lumber slabs harvested from my mom’s house. He created a table beyond my wildest dreams. Graham proposed 3 detailed designs after having a conversation of my Ideas. I was able to mix and match different features from the designs. Once the final design was decided upon, I let Graham run with it. My advice, leave the details to him. He gets it.

Graham was amazing!! My son climbed on our countertop and decided to hang on the crown molding on the side of one of our cabinets. Not sure how long it was missing before we realized, but unfortunately we were unable to find the piece that he broke off and hid. We were also unable to purchase the exact same crown molding since the manufacturer no longer carries that design. We found a piece that was very similar to what we had and attempted to cut and install the piece ourselves, but were unable to get it to fit. We were in a bind and had a deadline to get this 12in piece of crown molding installed because we were having our cabinets painted in a few days. We called Graham and he came right out despite it being such a small job and kind of far from where hes located. He was able to see why we couldnt get it to fit and was able to fix the problem and install the piece for us. We are so grateful for him and his talents. The piece looks amazing and you cant even tell that it is slightly different from the rest of the the crown moldings. Thanks so much Graham!!

Graham is a highly professional and skilled carpenter. He was called to help us in a critical situation and on a time stretch. He came after just an hour, assessed the situation and fixed it right away, despite the necessary job was much more complex than as understood and declared by us. We had a beautiful antique door that we wanted installed in a preexisting cased opening. We reached out to Graham based on internet reviews, and he stopped by a few days later. We could immediately tell that Graham knew what he was doing - he immediately saw that the door was slightly too narrow for the space, and proposed building a new casing and jamb to accommodate the doors size. He proposed using mahogany for the trim in order to better match the grain of the door when staining, and building a custom header, which we thought were great suggestions. At the end, he submitted a quote that we thought was very reasonable.Over the next two weeks, he patched some holes in the door that had been filled in with spray foam insulation and built the new casing. When we told him that we wanted an inswinging door instead of an outswinging door, he accommodated that modification. When the knob hardware we gave him was too big, he worked with us to make sure that a replacement set we liked would work. And we understand that he had to source the mahogany himself when his normal supplier was out.On the day of install, he demoed the existing casing and installed the door perfectly. When that required cutting off some small pieces of the baseboard trim, he went to the hardware store to find and install replacements. He also picked up and installed a door stopper too. We think the final project looks amazing, and will be even more so once the trim is painted and stained (Graham doesnt do painting).We couldnt be happier that we trusted Graham to handle this carpentry work. He has a firm grasp of details and a great aesthetic design sense. Our project also came in on budget and was done a lot sooner than we had originally thought. He will definitely now be our first call if we ever need additional carpentry projects done!
