    Our 1960-built house has a 650 SF dirt crawlspace that takes in a lot of water, and it was time to address it. A co-worker had recommended Waterproofing One after having had a good experience with them in 2020.Frank came on-site on 12/16/23 and walked us through his recommendations. He was not overly pushy to upsell given we had shared that we dont plan to be in this house long-term, but feel we owe the next owners a decent solution. He shared a detailed estimate on 12/18/23 which included a French drain, sump pump, battery back-up, carbon fiber straps to fix foundation cracks, pointing and stucco for exterior cracks, and re-routing of gutter downspout discharges. We had some questions which he was quick to answer throughout the week, and we committed to using Waterproofing One on 12/22/23. We scheduled for 12/27/23, and the crew arrived at around 9:00 AM.The crew on the first day were very polite and thorough. The only unexpected issue was that it would not be a one-day job as the conditions outside were too wet for the exterior work. Once they had completed the interior work, they walked me through what they had done, and showed me how the sump pump and battery back-up works. They were very thorough in cleaning up the site - you wouldnt know that such extensive work had been done by the way my property looked once they left.The exterior crew arrived unexpectedly (but thankfully) the next morning around 7:45 AM. Again, they did a nice job and cleaned up after themselves before leaving around mid-afternoon. The color matching on the stucco and pointing was not perfect, but good enough I suppose.All in all, it was a good experience working with Waterproofing One. They were fast, thorough, clean, and reasonably priced. I would recommend having them quote any interior/exterior waterproofing jobs.

    Joe, the owner, has an amazing team that helped with our exterior Waterproofing, mold remediation, and dry wall installation. It was a huge job, and his team was able to wrap up the exterior work very quickly. They connected our downspouts to the ground ground drainage, and added several drain areas in front of doors to ensure no water could get in. Looking forward to a big rainfall to test out his Waterproofing Solution.

    We hired Mike Famous with Waterproofing One for foundation work as he came to our jobsite to inspect and give his opinion before even giving a quote, which was very helpful. The quote came back at a fair price and we decided to move forward with his company. During the set up process he and his team were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The job itself was completed ahead of schedule and was accurately performed per our plans.

    Waterproofing one came out this week for a ton of stuff. French drain, sump pump, repaired basement walls, and outdoor system. They did a great job and were very clean. They even helped me move the heavier stuff out of the way and set up a good amount of protective barriers. They were very thorough with the work that they did. Before signing the contract, Joe, the owner, sat with me and answered all of my questions without rushing through any descriptions. Enough so that I noticed that the crew missed a minor step in the wall repair and they came back out to do it over. He stood by his word. Regarding the outside work: a huge trench was dug along my house where the slab foundation is and after they put it all back together you could barely tell that it was done. They even cleaned out my gutters at no extra cost. I would recommend them.

    The owner performed a thorough inspection of the basement and promptly provided me with an extremely reasonable quote. The job was started and completed within two days! The crew was highly skilled and meticulous! I’ve never seen such a coordinated project and one that ran with such efficiency. The owner checked in on the crew to ensure that all details were followed, and he was also prompt in returning my texts and phone calls. Honestly, don’t even consider another company for the job!

    Waterproofing One did an amazing job at our home! We had 2 seperate projects with them. We had an egress window installed and also a new room built in our basement, and both crews did a great job!     We bought our home a couple of years ago knowing that wed eventually need to address moisture issues in the basement. There was a sump pump but no system in place to direct water there and as a result, substantial mold and moisture issues throughout the space.Recently the issue has gotten worse and we reached out to several companies for estimates. Joe and Waterproofing One were extremely responsive, arriving and providing a quote almost immediately after we called. Their estimate was budget friendly and allowed us to address all of the parts that needed fixing, not just the drains, and Joe was very transparent, walking us through what everything entailed.After signing the contract, a crew was out the following Monday and got straight to work. Throughout the process, they were considerate, communicative, and checked in regularly. They have also been very flexible and helpful as we address a secondary issue with the plumbing, working around that part of the basement and agreeing to come back and repair it later when the plumber is done.Overall, weve been very happy with our experience with Waterproofing One. Its only been a few days, but so far, so dry, and its been raining plenty.

    From Start to Finish We had a great experience, Joe was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed to fix the water leaking situation in our basemen, he didn’t try to over sell Us like other company’s we got quotes from and his price was very reasonable. They were able to get our French Drain install scheduled in a reasonable time, where other company’s were many months out. The install team were fantastic , friendly and knew what they were doing, we expected to have some mess to deal with considering the type of install - but let me tell you , the installers spent a lot of time cleaning up our driveway , basement and yard when finished.     I had a leak in the wall leading into my furnace room. I got referred by a neighbor to Wayerproofing One. They gave me a good price and did a very good job. The furnace room has been dry.Now I realized my sump pump is not working and hence water leaked from the floor into the middle of my basement.     What an absolutely pleasant experience it was dealing with Joe and his crew. I woke up to an absolute nightmare in my basement. I called Waterproofing One and was greeted by Joe. I explained to him how I was having a terrible morning and I awoke to an inch or so of water in my basement and I had active water still coming in. Joe rushed over and gave me an incredibly fair price. He provided many different solutions and even had another one of his workers stop over right away to offer alternatives. He was flexible enough to also provide his services within 2 days of offering the quote. Better yet, they also were able to complete the job in one WHOLE DAY!When Joe arrived with his team the day of the job he brought with him two other managers of the business to provide insight on the job they were doing and also providing me with a guarantee. They were so friendly and Joe even stopped by multiple times that day to check on the work progress. During the day I stopped down in the basement to check on the work as well and they really had the friendliest guys. They were prompt, clean, and extremely friendly.     Honesty is the key to good business and Brian, the estimator who came out to my house, gave me exactly that. Brian probably could have tried to sell me on certain services but after seeing the property and the issue I had he said that I could probably fix the issue by grading the yard away from the house as it is currently forming a channel along the house where water is flowing to the bottom. Another company called Basements Love Us sold me a $5000 project that did nothing to fix the issue I was having at that point when I first bought this house 6 years ago, so I value and respect honesty in business above everything else and Brian was helpful, friendly and HONEST! I would recommend a person like that to do business with! I hope he is blessed with other jobs from this review for doing the right thing and being honest and prioritizing integrity and reputation over short term profits!

    I accidentally left my outside faucet on for several hours and discovered some water in the basement the next day. After several weeks I decided I should check with an expert on basements in order to insure I hadn’t created a bigger problem, but primarily for peace of mind. I had heard about companies taking advantage of people so I decided on Waterproofing One, a company with many positive ratings.Al Dark, the senior inspector for Waterproofing One called ahead and arrived on time as scheduled. He asked a number of questions, inspected the area looking for issues and told me that although he would love to have our business he believed the issue was limited to my oversight and wasn’t one that was recurring and required his company to intervene.I highly recommend Waterproofing One and Al Dark. He has been in the business for over 40 years and it is obvious with his knowledge, ,customer rapport and honest recommendations.

    We used Waterproofing One a couple of months ago, and it has worked like a charm! We had water coming in to our basement, and we wanted to get it taken care of before the water had time to freeze. After our initial consultation, we booked a service, and 4 days later, the work was underway! The gentlemen from WO were very professional, positioning their equipment near the side door as to not disturb the main entrance, and the job was finished in 2 days! Our basement now has a professionally installed French Drain, and we haven’t had a drop of water since!

    They were great. The only challenge was initialScheduling, but it has been raining for months so everyone was having problems. Their repairs solved the problem.     I am so happy I choose Waterproofing One to waterproof and remove mold from my basement. I checkedout a lot of companies and Waterproofing One gave me the best price and was willing to do more work forme. I had really bad uneven crumbly walls and I could not believe my eyes when they were finished, the walls were so smooth and even that I cancelled my contractor that was going to put sheet rock up and finish my basement. My basement looks fabulous, they even put a new staircase in because mine were uneven and unsafe.     Waterproofing One definitely stands behind their work. We had a problem with water in the basement and the team came out to assess the problem. They put in a new drain and repaired the foundation crack. Unfortunately, the original fix didnt work and they had to return a second time to remediate the problem. The new fix was more extensive than what I paid for, but they fixed the problem without any additional charge. The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating and apologetic that they had to return at all.In addition to fixing the leaky basement, they uncovered additional problems as a result of another companys incomplete work. It is nice dealing with an honest business that stands behind their reputation. Would definitely recommend.

    Dave Cook came out to perform an estimate in my basement for the installation of an egress window. The price was not only competitive, but the best out of the 5 quotes that I received. Dave was extremely knowledgeable not only about the egress work, but about all of the work involved in finishing a basement - and gave me pointers in other areas of my project as well. The team that came out to excavate and install the egress window was just as fantastic. They were extremely hard workers and insisted on cleaning up after themselves - down to small specs of dust on the floor. They even hooked up my dehumidifier to my sump pump for me. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience working with Waterproofing One for my egress window.

    I live in an older twin brick house. The one basement wall in the back, made of field stone and mortar collapsed. Waterproofing One came in and did a fantastic job. Since we had no outside exit to the basement, they had to go thru the kitchen and down the cellar steps to the back section of the basement. They repaired the wall with additional block and rebar and finished it off nicely. And they took the old insulation out of the rafters to the kitchen floor and put a moisture barrier up. The placed plastic up in the house where dirt and dust might get out of their walk way, which absolutely thrilled my wife.They did a great job, were extremely courteous and the price was fair. Work took a little less than five days.I would HIGHLY recommend them.

    First and foremost, I had a number of estimates done on a home that needed a complete restoration and rebuild to include having a french drain and an egress window installed due to the constant water damage and flooding. I spoke with Andy and Joe and quickly decided that this was the contractor that I would hire, they were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive but through all my conversations with a host of other contractors I quickly realized that they were the most experienced. They came into the home, completed the basement french drain in a quick, professional manner without ANY issues at all, I was very impressed from the start. As I began closing the deal on the basement, Andy and Joe explained to me that they also do remodeling and rebuilds of deteriorated homes from start to finish, Again, I had other general contractors lined up but agreed to let them explain what they could do for me. We walked around the home both inside and out and was told what the home needed and what they recommended, again, I realized right away that these 2 gentlemen knew exactly what they were talking about. The result...I am now living in a beautiful home that has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom from an absolutely great, professional, highly dependable and knowledgeable contractor that I would give a 5 star recommendation to anyone who is looking to have home improvements, French drain installation or whatever other home upgrades that are being considered.     My wife and I recently purchased a home with an interior basement waterproofing system from Waterproofing One. During a heavy snow melt, a significant quantity of water entered one of our contained crawl spaces. The homeowner was gracious enough to supply us with Joes contact info. He came out to the house within a couple hours (8:00 PM!) Joe waded through the water and fixed and realigned the float on a sump pump. Turns out, they did not install the pump as the homeowner believed it functioned properly. Joe did not charge for the visit! This kind of customer service is rare these days. Very classy! By the way, with all the downpours weve experienced over the past few months not a single drop of water has made it into the basement! Highly recommend this outfit!

    We have hired Waterproofing One for 3 different jobs now. First, they sealed a window that was leaking into our basement - that was completed quickly and was effective. When we discovered water intrusion in a separate portion of the basement we decided to move forward with a whole-exterior waterproofing job. Waterproofing One was outstanding to work with. Both Joe (owner) and Frank were patient and communicative, answering all of our questions and working with us every step of the way. As with any project, a few surprises popped up during the job. Rather than take advantage of situation knowing they could charge lots extra for these surprises, Joe and Frank were reasonable and moved forward without making things a big deal. The end result seems great. Finally, they also installed a Patio which looks great! We got quotes from many, many companies for this job given its magnitude, and no one else matched Waterproofing Ones reachability (Joe and Frank are both reachable by cell - outstanding), reasonable price and follow-through. Thank you, Waterproofing One for putting our minds at ease as the weather gets ever more extreme. We are happy customers!!!!

    We had some major water issues in our basement with water coming in. We called several contractors for a quote. Waterproofing one responded quickly and we’re out for an estimate in days. The owner called me back shortly after I left a message and came out to our home the next day. His crew came the following week, dug a trench down to the bottom of our foundation, coated the walls, added a waterproof material and then coated that. They refilled the trench and put our yard back to the way it was before they started. Thanks for a great job!

    Joe came out and did the quote and then Juan and his crew came out and did a fantastic job. They input a brand new Hydrostatic System and reinforced the basement walls. Repointed and cement the gaps in our exposed walls. For a 110 year old home with a dreary wet dungeon, the basement looks brand new and well sealed off from further water damage. Juan’s crew was in and out, very professional and they did a great job. Even my wife loved it and it takes a miracle to please that woman. Will definitely be using them again

    All the above , I had a situation that was so critical, just finished a rehab house, house was about to go the market, brand new finish basement, and a contractor worse nightmare, 4 inches of water in the basement and don’t know where it came from , I googled waterproof basement, and I my first choice I saw waterproof one, they delivered...like it never happened...I would go with them again...
