He kept us in the loop throughout the whole process, chose the perfect materials for the project, and was able to make some last minute changes to bring the piece together! Skip did an amazing job transforming our family room for our growing family. Not only was his work extremely beautiful and detail oriented, it was done in a timely manner. We gave him an enormous task of building custom-made cabinets and putting down hardwood floors and we gave him a tough deadline because we wanted it done before our baby arrived. He did EXACTLY what we wanted ON TIME!!! Even though we threw him some curve balls in between!! He was amazing to our children and to us while he worked in our home. We would highly recommend him to anyone!!

Excellent work, quality materials and a personal approach. Skip is a tremendously hard worker and a reliable, trustworthy carpenter that can do just about anything you need for your home. I am very pleased with the custom built-in closet system he made for us and the work done remodeling our master bath (framing, drywall and doors, etc). His knowledge is master level and he is a genuinely good person. You will be happy you called GES.

GES did an excellent job in rebuilding our kitchen! From design to implementation GES excelled at the details bring the project in on time and on budget. Updating builders grade laminate and counters to a visual masterpiece that allowed traffic flow and hid appliances from the wide open floor plan.This was a complete overhaul, starting with a tile floor, then cabinets and creating an island as well as kitchen bar area and included lighting in ceiling and hanging custom drop lights. GES installed all new appliances, granite counters, tile and detailed trim to match the cabinets.In a separate project, GES also built me a custom desk for my office with flexible moving file cabinet boxes to allow for airflow of vents and easy access to all wiring. No small project, the corner desk measured 8’ on one side and 7’ on the other. Handcrafted and artistic, this desk is extremely useable and stunning as the centerpiece of the office.GES is flexible and easy to work with, Skip makes it all come together!

I found Skip though a NextDoor referral. I was impressed with his skills and level of detail as we discussed options for my built in cabinet renovation to accommodate a larger TV, so he was hired immediately. The end result is amazing. The built in looks refreshed in design and as if it were originally made this way. Skip was on time, friendly, helpful. He was open to last minute design changes as the project progressed. His work was impeccable. His value exceeded his price such that I gave him a sizable tip because he deserved that and more. He was easy to have around the house for a week. Skip, if you read this, please feel free to give anyone my contact information if they need a live referral call. I would use him over and over and over again, and have already given his contact information out to many. Did you ever have someone recommend a great hotel only to find out their idea of great was Holiday Inn when yours was a Four Seasons experience? Im more of a Four Seasons girl in terms of being discerning and Skips work and approach exceeded my expectations. Thank you Skip!
