    These pictures are worth a thousand words! My driveway in Newport, RI would flood with water every time it rained. Brenden worked diligently with me to fix this issue and create a beautifully hardscaped cobblestone driveway that is the envy of my neighbors. When the Able crew of masons get on the job, they work at a brisk pace and get the job done. In addition to the driveway, my beds were edged with cobblestone and the whole property is illuminated with Cast landscaping lighting. My project can simply described as custom and premium.     Able Landscaping has done edging and mulching for me before. When I asked for a masonry proposal, to his credit Brenden Mahoney said, I dont want to talk myself out of work but I think it would be better if you re-graded the driveway instead. Thats what I did and I thanked him and told him he was right. I appreciate his honesty. And his passion for a job done right that takes into account New Englands weather.

    Brenden, Alex, and the Able Landscaping team have done an AMAZING job helping to transform and maintain our outdoor living space over the last couple of years. Their capacity and expertise to not only do their portion of the work well, but also bring in recommended outside contractors to assist in this process has been invaluable. We truly feel like weve gotten top-notch service, and cant wait to see what the final product looks like next Spring and Summer when it blooms and grows. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for basic lawn maintenance, installing new grass, re-grading or reclaiming new cleared lawn space, as well as installing patios and outdoor kitchens.

    Able landscaping recently rebuilt a patio and fire pit for our new home. They were very accommodating and it turned a beautiful. Flabio did great masonry work and made sure we were satisfied. The ladies in the office were very friendly and attentive. Brendan was really helpful in figuring out the design we were looking for. We could not be happier with the results.

    Brenden, the owner, came to see what I needed for my driveway and hardscaping project. He was professional and straightforward. Very creative and generous with his time and expertise. He determined because the majority of what I needed done was custom driveway work, he had another business he suggested would be a better fit for my project.He shared that persons contact information. Called the other business for me and left a detailed message and then had the care and concern to say he looked forward to hearing back from me that I was thrilled with the other persons work. A wonderful way to start my day with a postive and enthusiastic interaction.

    We were looking for someone to re-lay our stone wall and paver pathway in preparation of selling our house. Brendan informed me that his company would completely rebuild the walk and walls, and that we would be better served if we presented a written quote for the repair to prospective buyers, rather than incur the expense ourselves. He did provide names of alternate companies to try, and offered alternative solutions to our situation. I received prompt and courteous service from Brendan Mahoney himself. If we decided to alter our plans, I would reach out to him again.

    I called Able Landscapers after the rock wall in front of my house was damaged in a hit and run incident. The repair was complicated by the fact that the impact had occurred directly above a culvert and drainage ditch that runs perpendicular to the road. Brenden arrived on time, surveyed the damage and asked thoughtful questions about my concerns/constraints relative to the repair. I left that meeting with food for thought relative to risks/opportunities going forward. Maybe a week later I received a proposal for a truly robust solution that addressed my concerns. If you find yourself in the market for landscaping services, Brenden and his team deserve your serious consideration.

    While I did not use Able Landscaping services, I would still highly recommend them. In the future, I will use them when the need arises. I called Brendan Mahoney for an estimate. He came and evaluated the issue and gave me professional advice on the problem. He was honest enough to tell me we did not need his services! He could have sent me the estimate and hoped I would pay for a job I did not need. I value his advice and appreciate his honesty!

    Our small Condo association started using Able Landscaping this spring. I cant say enough about them. Brenden is courteous, responsive, knowledgeable and incredibly patient. Our common area lawn was on the verge of being lost, and through many conversations and ideas we came up with a plan not just to maintain our lawn but to bring it back to life with a custom above ground sprinkler setup complete with timers, installation and maintenance of that as well. Its hard to please everyone in a condo association, but he as done an incredible job in a short span of time. I would recommend him without hesitation.

    Able Landscapers owner Brenden Mahoney has been providing landscaping service for us at our home in Groton Ma for 5 years. They conduct our Spring Clean-up, Fall Clean-up, Turf Fertilier Program, Weekly Mowing, Flower bed maintenance, as well as turn on and off our irrigation system.While Brenden was visiting our home to apply an application of fertilizer to our lawn, he discovered surface water around the irrigation valve box located in the back yard. He open the valve box and discovered it was full of water. He shut off the water supply to valve box and allowed the water to evaporate. He cleaned out all the dirt and debris in order to clearly see the valves and manifold, to determine if and where the leak might be coming from. He noticed there was a crimped pipe at the end of the manifold which the valves are connected to. This pipe extended outside the area of the valve box and was buried under ground. Since he could not see the other side of the crimped pipe, he than dug out further around the valve box in order to see the rest of the pipe. The was no additional pipe, he discovered the irrigation installer didn’t install the proper end cap at the end of the manifold, instead they installed a barb fitting and then crimped a small section of 1 Poly pipe in order to make a cap. This method failed, due to the crimp in the pipe and the water pressure applied to this area constantly it gave way to a small hole in the poly pipe. Had the irrigation professional installed the proper treaded end cap onto the manifold, there would never have been a slow water leak in the valve box.We have Town Water, therefore we incur a quarterly water bill. We don’t know how long this has been leaking because it was in the ground. But what we do know is our water bill has been quite high for some time. Had Brenden not been in-tuned to our property, we don’t know how long this problem may have gone on for. We would highly recommend Brenden Mahoney and his Team at Able Landscapers. His employees are always professional and courteous. We appreciate their attention to detail and their respect for our home and property. Their office staff is always curious when I call to make a payment or to schedule additional service. It not easy to find a professional contractor you can trust to do the job the right way.Thank you Brenden!Renee Libby Groton MA

    Recently had a hydroseed project that needed coordination of various tasks (landscaping, mulching and actual seed application).
