    Paul from Anchor Electric did extensive electrical work at our home. He replaced our main panel, upgraded outlets to GFI, replaced the wiring to our pool pump to the proper type of wiring, and replaced our front lamp posts. He also rewired our lamp posts in the backyard and installed a new switch. Paul also replaced our smoke alarms and fixed some exposed wires. His work is very good and we are very pleased with his customer service. We would highly recommend him.

    Paul did an excellent job installing an interlock kit on my two panels, for a standalone backup generator hookup. I have two main panels and he was the only one that confidently explained what had to be done.     Paul was really great to work with. We had a tight deadline to have a electric panel replacement and upgrade done before going out of town. I contacted him via his website and he got back to me quickly. I had sent him some photos of the existing panel and he was able to email me a quote in short order. Because of our schedule, he was able to fit us in within a few days. He was on time, professional, explained everything he was going to do, and had the job done that day in the time expected. All the work was approved by my insurance company who required the upgrade.I will be using him again for two other projects and have no issues recommending him.

    Paul with Anchor Electric came highly recommended through the Palm Harbor community and I can see why! Paul was wonderful! We had a few phone conversations before he came out to inspect my home. Paul was patient, kind and really seemed to listen to my concerns. Upon arrival, Paul was extremely prompt. He did a thorough examination of the area and walked me through the issue while explaining what he saw. The diagnosis paperwork that Paul wrote up was detailed and straight forward. He did not complete any actual electrical work this visit but I will certainly trust Paul with my electrical needs in the future.

    I hired Paul to install a 50 amp transfer switch for my portable generator. He was very responsive, appointment for both the estimate and later install were scheduled quickly and he showed at the agreed time.     We called Paul after a referral from another service company that was doing a service call here at the house. Paul listened (a great talent lost on most of todays service industry) as we tried to describe the issue. He recognized the problem as a dying main breaker, but also advised a new panel & breakers as the others were getting some long in the tooth. Paul showed up on time, got right to work, was very gracious of our interruptions and finished in good time.     Paul and Anchor Electric saved the day for us once again! The main power line running to our house went out about two months ago. The power company and their contractors installed the new line about a month later. When they were done, we had no power to one wall of our kitchen and could not figure out why. We called Paul to see if he could help because the power company still has not contacted us to fix the leftover problems. He was quick, efficient, and found the issue at a junction box in our attic, and for the first time in two months, we have power to our whole house!If you need someone at a fair price that does a great job, they are the people to call!

He was respectful as well. Some companies when you try and have a conversation, they either ignore you or say they are busy. Not him.     Anchor Electric did a get job of installing multiple layers of surge protection after I had a surge protector put in the panel by an electric company that either did not know what they were doing or just trying to make a quick buck by putting the surge protector in the first open breaker which was on a subpanel. Needless to say the fridge and garage light on the first breaker of the main panel fried. Shame on me for not paying closer attention and understanding what was needed the first time.
