    Florida Retrofits came immediately after Hurricane Milton damaged our roof. They temporarily fixed it until we could get a new roof. Then they showed up timely to put the new roof on. Permits and inspections were taken care of by them. It was stress free and easy. Very reasonably priced. Beautiful work.

    I needed a new roof after some storm damage, and thankfully the team at Florida Retrofits were so helpful in getting this taken care of.I was given samples of shingle options, advice on energy efficiency and how they age. A day or 2 after choosing the color my roof was scheduled!The team was at my house nice and early, and immediately got to work. They covered my driveway, back patio, and the grass where there would be debris. They were respectful and as quiet as getting a roof can be. The entire roof was completed in just a few days. It looks incredible and has passed all inspections.I could not be happier with my roof and the service that I received.Huge thanks to Cody, Kayla, and the rest of the Florida Retrofits team!

    If I could give them 10 stars I would! They added a third nail to my hurricane straps and put in new soffits as well. Angel and Dustin did an outstanding job and it looks awesome! They treated my house like it was theirs and were very professional and friendly and just a pleasure to work with!     Im going to start off with the *one* negative: nobody came to the house for a detailed estimate. I had wood soffit, and had the option to put the wood back up, or change to vinyl when getting hurricane clips installed. I opted for vinyl, and was provided an estimate based on linear footage, without anyone coming out. The problem is that the estimate was based on replacing the wood with vinyl *only where clips had to be installed.* In other words, vinyl would go on the eaves, the wood would remain on the gable soffit. That was presented as an issue the day they started work, but could have been prevented by an onsite estimate. That said, they were upfront regarding the change in pricing, and fast to provide the updated estimate to prevent delaying the work. I would deduct a 1/2 star for that issue at most (hence the 5 stars).End result is I have vinyl soffit everywhere, have hurricane clips everywhere, and they communicated very well with me (both the office and the team doing the work). The whole team was very professional and knowledgeable regarding building code requirements for roofing over the past couple of decades (as one might expect), took all the old soffit away, and cleaned up after themselves every day.The vinyl soffit looks great, the discount on the insurance is great, and Florida Retrofits did a great job. Highly recommend this team!

    My house was hit by lightning and the vinyl siding was badly damaged. Florida Retrofits came out and sent me a detailed estimate with some recommendations to improve the look of my home. The communication between the office and myself on scheduling the arrival of materials and the repair crew was helpful.The job was completed to my satisfaction, exactly as quoted and maybe even a few extra touches just to make it nicer. I will be using them again shortly on another project.

    I recently had my roof and windows down, after a super long process and several estimates I used Florida Retrofits, I had the best experience with this company from start to finish starting with Cody(owner) to include Kayla at the office.     I recently used Florida Retrofits to add hurricane straps to the roof of my pre-Andrew home and totally replace the soffit and fascia. I was very skeptical of a roofing company with a 5-star rating, but they lived up to their reputation. The quoting process was fast and easy. I worked with Kayla who was very responsive, informative and courteous. She never missed an email or phone call. The crew that performed the work was also great. They were all very personable, they did great work and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone.

    I have only the BEST to say about Fl Retrofit Roofers! Everyone was professional and willing to listen and answer any and all question.They arrived on schedule, tearing off old roof proved to be a bear, worked threw till roof was dried off. They had to add proper hurricane strapping also working both inside and out to accomplish this! Three more days and we had a beautiful new roof. Hard Dedicated Workers!After our hail storm, they called and wanted to come and check on roof, not expected but the following day they showed and everything was ok.I highly recommend them for any worked needed to do with roofing.     After doing quite a bit of research of various companies, I hired Florida Retrofits to install hurricane straps and replace old soffit/fascia on my 1950s Orlando home.     Couldnt ask for a better roofer! I am a commercial investor and have commercial flat, built up bitumen, shingle, and various other roofs I have to deal with. I have tried MANY different roofers (whats up with Florida roofers?!?!?!) and Cody is by far and away the very best. He (1) answers the phone, (2) is responsive, (3) very quick, (4) very honest, (5) thorough, (6) clean, and probably another dozen traits I cant think of right now.     They scheduled me quickly to retrofit my roof with hurricane clips. The team came out & did the work through the soffit, in a day and a half. They cleaned up afterwards and painted.     Ive used Florida Retrofits for two jobs at my place and theyve done excellent work! Ive had them perform perform wind mitigation work; which included replacing existing soffits. The crew was quick and professional and the work, especially the new soffits, were exceptional. As a result, I had them replace existing second floor windows with impact resistant windows; while at the same time taking down old and warn out rolldown shutter. In addition, they also replaced the old vinyl siding with Hardiebacker siding. Im very happy with their work. So much so, Ive scheduled to have my ground floor windows replaced with impact resistant.     Florida Retrofits is fantastic. I refer all my clients who are lacking roof credits on their homeowners insurance policies to them. Weve had close to 20 clients who have used them and they all received the maximum available wind mitigation credits on their policies after the work was done.     I contacted Florida Retrofits to inspect my attic for hurricane straps, nails etc... I spoke with Lisa in the office, who is very friendly, and she answered all my questions & got me scheduled in for an inspection. She even emailed me my scheduled appointment information. Joey came out to inspect my attic. He was prompt on his arrival and answered a lot of my questions before he even looked in my attic. Joey was also very friendly and very informative, said everything looked good in my attic. He gave me peace of mind and did not try to sell me something that I did not need. Very honest company would highly recommend.

    My husband and I spent a long night awake, listening to clanging and banging on my roof, the night Hurricane Dorian came for a distant visit. The next morning, I called Florida Retrofits to come and check out the damage. To our amazement, someone arrived before the end of the day. He assessed the problem and assured us someone would arrive to repair the damage the next day. Early the following morning, a wonderful young man arrived and repaired the damage....all at a most reasonable cost.     I cannot give FR a strong enough review! An awesome experience for the very start through to the Final Inspection. Joey, my estimator, really rang the bell. He understood that I had a lot of questions, and he patiently answered every one, giving me comfort that he cared about even the little details for us. Then, Collin, the Roof Manager, was incredible. He made sure everything was just right in the roofing of my home. Even the small things were paid attention to. And then, when they discovered that there was something they could do to improve the integrity of my roof, they just did it. At no extra cost! When the inspector put an extra expectation on them, that cost FR more time and money, they made it happen. At no extra cost! What I am saying is FR does the right thing because it’s the right thing! They even answer the phone when you call! I will recommend FR to everyone I know that is considering needing a roofer. Top Awards to FR!

    OMG Where should I Start!!!!!! This has been a roller Coaster ride for me. I been trying to get my insurance premium lowered for the longest and my Insurance agents which is People Insurance Group made it nearly impossible. Thanks to Florida Retro Fit they took every effort necessary to insure my goal was accomplished. After Florida Retro Fits installed hurricane clips to my roof I got my 4 point and wind mitigation report done and submitted it to my insurance agent. Of course she was in it for a bigger commission so she wasnt interested in saving me money. She stated that the work that Florida Retro Fits did was not going to save me any money. I immediately contacted Florida Retro fit in RAGE and they gave me the assurance they would handle. They contact contacted Citizens on my behalf and pulled all the permits reports and got this to the bottom of it. Needless to say I am saving over $2000.00 a year. It would be insane for you not to choose this company not only are they courteous but they get the job done. I am more than satisfied and I give in extra shout out to Cody and Chris for assisting me in saving money$$$$....Rock-Evans

    These guys just came out this week and I have already recommended them to every neighbor I can find without hurricane straps. From the moment I called, to the estimate, to the work itself, they have been nothing but wonderful and courteous to work with. I think the defining moment for me with this company was when they came to my door and told me that the work was more extensive than they originally thought, but they were going to stand by their quote. Often, my biggest fear with home improvement projects is the “bait and switch” and I thought this may be what I had fallen into. However, they stood by their word and to me that spoke so much. So, like I said, being beachside I am screaming it from the roof top to all my neighbors with older homes that Florida RetroFits not only does great work, they are good people. Not to mention the fact that the cost of the retrofits was almost completely offset by just the one year difference in our insurance premium.Thank you guys, your work and ethics are much appreciated!

    Upon request, a fair quote for partial soffit/fascia replacement was promptly provided by Joey. After some consultation with the Shawn, the field manager, a quote for whole-home soffit/faschia replacement followed. I had my choice to go with either partial replacement or whole-home replacement! The thought of new materials and workmanship described by these guys gave me the confidence to go for whole-home replacement of soffit/fascia. I am pleased with the work.

    Our insurance company let us know that without getting our 1973 home updated with the proper strapping we may be out of luck getting insured. Florida retrofits was called and gave a us a reasonable offer to get it done. Within 4 hours they removed the soffit added the straps, put the soffit back up and cleaned up. Job was well done, so much so that I asked them to look at our damaged roof fascia and new soffit in the back as the wood had rotted due to bad gutter placement and the 5 year old roofing being part of the issue as it wasn’t done properly. They gave a competitive proposal, came early finished it in less than a day and it looks perfect! One can’t ask for more. I would highly recommend them for other jobs and will be calling again when it’s time to do my windows!

    My roof was damaged by storms and hail so Florida Retrofits came out to give me a thorough inspection and a fair estimate. They helped me through the process and explained everything in detail because I’m a first time home owner and did not know anything about getting a new roof. Everyone I met with was very helpful and professional, providing excellent service for a very reasonable price. I have nothing but the highest praises for this company and will be referring all my friends and family to them from now on. They went above and beyond to provide great customer service and a dependable final product. It’s clear that this company is one of the few that still takes pride in its work.

    We reciently contact Florida Retrofits to up date our 1974 home to meet Florida wide Mitigation standards. I was contacted the night before and told of time of arrival. Promptly the next day Jose and Donny arrived, they were very pleasant and explained exactly what they were going to do. Without hesitation they climbed up into our Hotter than Hell Florida August attic and did Not come down till the Job was complete! How they did it and still maintained a great attitude was beyond me! These two guys Jose and Donny were the Best, theyre Great employees to be commended on a job Well Done. They also a Great assist to your company where Hard working and courteous employees are hard to find.....
