    Eric and Hugo from Total Comfort Ormond Beach came to our house today 11/25/2024. They did a fantastic job for us. They took the time with us, answered all our questions and concerns. Made sure we understood everything and double checked to make sure the system was operational. Additionally, they were very organized, well versed, and professional. Checked the heat/AC, the drain lines, and the temperature in the duct. Probably did more but I don’t know much about these things. They were just very professional and could not have asked for a better crew even made sure everything was cleaned prior to leaving.Thank you guysJohn and Susan

    The technician arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem with our AC unit. Fortunately, he had the necessary replacement parts with him and in a very short time our AC was working again. The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable and double checked to make sure the system was working properly before he left. We are very happy with the service we received from Total Comfort and highly recommend them.

    Total Comfort is the best! We have relied on Total Comfort since 2009. Recently we had a part failure and the specific part was back ordered. We were resigned to days w/o the AC. But surprise… somehow the technician found the part and came back the same day to install and get our system running again. They always come through.

    Our 3-month A/C unit was set on 75 but warmed up to 78. Chris from Total Comfort came over here 1.5 hours later, after dark, and tightened some wires. That seemed to fix it. What great, quick service! Thank you Total Comfort!

    Well it’s a long story I will make short.. I had my neighbor install my water heater .. Since then I smelled gas I had both my Nieghbors come and both said I was fine.. little did I know on one of the coldest days I had all my windows closed and had a major leak.. Two guys from total comfort showed up I think his name was Eeein and Nick they quickly discovered the leak and worked diligently to resolve the issue!!! Very professional staff showed up early and saved the day !!!

    Total Comfort was able to get a technician here in less than 24 hours of calling them. He immediately found the problem (the capacitor) replaced it and was gone within an hour. Total Comfort installed both of my AC units (I have a large house) and their technicians are very honest and reputable. I will always use Total Comfort.

    I called Total Comfort this morning for an HVAC problem - my thermostat was not working and my drip pan overflowed. The woman who answered the service call (wish I had gotten her name) was super and instructed me on how to fix the problem. Worked like a charm, so happy to not have had to schedule a service call!

Dan is very knowledgeable and honest on his recommendations for a two stage unit. Hugo and Dennis did the installation they were on time and did a very neat install.     Our AC stopped working while under a hurricane watch! The problem was a faulty drain pan float switch. Called at 6 pm. Thankfully we have a maintenance agreement. The technician arrived by 8 pm, repairs were done before 9 pm. Could not be happier with their response!

    I live in NY and have a home in Ormond Beach. A neighbor let me know the a/c unit was not running. Called Total Comfort and a technician came out the next day. Turns out I have a faulty GFI outlet that needs to be replaced. Anyhow, the technician was very professional and hooked up a temporary power solution until I get down there to replace the outlet. Very pleased with Total Comfort and would recommend using them.

    Over the years these guys have been the GoTo company for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and more. Our 90 year old neighbors loved and trusted in Total Comfort. But,, Pickup the phone and call,,, don’t use the website to initiate service,,,, they don’t provide service from the website,,, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

    We have had a number of problems with our old air conditioner company. They try to sell u parts and service u dont need. We read about how people are so happy with total comfort so we thought we would try them. The teck arrived on time looked over our ac and told us everything was in working order. We showed him the paper from the other company and he said we didnt need anything on that list. It had over a 1,000 dollars of different parts. Total comfort is the way to go and if I r lucky enough to get Rusty, u can be sure everything is ok.

    Exceeded my expectations! Recent purchase and installation of home cooling and heating system was outstanding. The whole process was super smooth. I was very impressed with my sales consultant, Jon C. Hes a true professional who took the time to educate me on HVAC equipment and offered multiple options based on my needs so I could make an informed decision. He also set proper expecations regarding installation. On installation day the two installers, Hugo and Erick were awesome!     When I called in to request a service call the lady on the phone tried to trouble shot our problem over the phone. The attempt to resolve our problem was unsuccessful however I was very impressed at the attempt to fix it without sending someone to the house. The service man was early in the time window provided. He was jvery courteous and discovered our problem quickly. He explained in detail and provided several options to fix it.     When I built my home Total Comfort performed all the electrical wiring, installed 3 AC units and a whole house backup generator. I still use them for electrical maintenance. The only reason I use them is because of one of their senior technicians - John Steel. He is awesome, shows up when he says he will, explains everything he is doing in a clear and concise manner and is just a pleasure to be with. He is a true asset to your company.

Patrick answered questions, provided estimates, planned the installation and was extremely helpful.Installation: I cant say enough about Kelly and Erick who installed my new heat pump system.     My carrier ac was purchased a little over a year ago(installed on June 22, 2023. Today I noticed water on my garage floor and saw the drip pan under my air handler was overflowing and there was a steady drip. The bottom half of air handler so soaked the filter fell thru. I reached out to emergency on call who said mon was soonest they could get a tech out. Joy even kept saying “the fact that your maintenance agreement expired is an issue”. I said “I don’t care , I’ll pay service call. When I asked who manager on call was she would not tell me , she then hung up. I’ve been doing business with total comfort for years. Now that I purchased an $11,000 ac from them I’m shocked at the poor service I’m getting in an emergency situation. There is no reason for a company this large to not be able to help in this emergency. The bottom half of handler is soaked, still dripping and the company does not care. Very , very poor. Total Comfort has failed ! I have to give a 1 or won’t post but they deserve a 0.UPDATE : , I placed call again and spoke with Victoria at answering service. She was so polite and listened to my problem. We hung up at Janice the on call manager called within 15m. She reached out to Marcus who was going off shift. He was in Port Orange and told her he take care of me. He was so professional and kind. Got my ac fixed and cleaned up in no time and had a great attitude. I will request Marcus moving forward with maintenance. Marcus and Janice were wonderful . Thank you both for excellent customer service !

    Experienced a clog in the drain line somewhere downstream from the kitchen sink which caused water to back up into both sink bowls. Trying to open the line using a sink plunger only resulted in drain water backing up into the nearby bathroom tub and toilet, as well as running onto the bathroom floor. With both the kitchen sink and one bathroom out of commission, I looked for a nearby plumbing company that advertised 24/7 service since this happened late Saturday night. This morning, Sunday, I spoke with Adele from their answering service, who put me in touch with Shane, one of their techs. Once Shane was on site, he tackled the clog with two different power augers from both ends, and was successful in clearing a fairly substantial blockage, effectively making everything normal again. Since my wife is recovering from recent knee replacement surgery, having access to the nearest bathroom is crucial.Much thanks to Shane for his expertise and timely response. I would highly recommend Total Comfort should any type of plumbing emergency arise that requires more than the use of a plunger.

    I’ve had Total Comfort Air for about 18 months now, and I’ve had very little cause to contact them other than about maintenance, with any problem. Today, however, my air-conditioning shut down and my home soon hit 81 degrees. Since it was a Sunday, I knew I’d never be able to have anyone look at it before Monday. I called Total Comfort anyway, and was told that there would be a technician in the area shortly. I don’t think I waited more than an hour, before Jeremy arrived and diagnosed that my system had been shorted out by a lizard. He quickly took care of my issue. I was lucky to have Total Comfort and a professional, friendly tech to help me out. The lizard was not as lucky. It’s nice to know that there’s a company that stands by their installations, even on a Sunday. I guess I had to go through this today to find that out. Thanks!

    After 5 years my ac unit was starting to run really bad. I called total comfort and they promptly came out. They evaluated my situation. The tech told me in detail what was going on and what needed to be done. I had another company install a unit which was a trane which was a POS. The company didnt even register the unit which total comfort does for every customer. A salesman called me immediately. Dan was very thorough as well. Took pictures of what was wrong and also explained the situation. No one had ever done that. He found things that no one ever mentioned before. The crew that was sent over to install the unit was courteous and professional. Kelly, Randy, Jeremy, and Nick came in and did a top notch job. Everything that Dan said that they would do was done.This crew worked my job so efficiently. It was awesome. I highly recommend this company if you want your ac install and service done right. Not to mention the quality Carrier brand is all they sell.

    I just moved down here from Connecticut and needed a new water heater I called total comfort and next day they where at my house pulled permit and installed with impeccable service excellent professionalism and knew there stuff man. I also needed a dryer vent duct moved called them up quoted it 2 days later job was done they also did a dryer plug Relocation as well are doing my generator stab in hook up and adding a plug behind my dishwasher so when my kitchen gets redone I have a place to plug in my beer fridge in place of dishwasher. These guys are phenomenal and have already recommended them to many people in the neighborhood they also will be doing my ac/heating service 2 times a year keep up the good work guys

    We received perfect service from Total Comfort. When I called in a panic, the person who answered gave me suggestions on what I could do to fix it myself. Even though they did not work (for my particular problem) it was nice that they tried. Total Confort then sent out a trained technician who was professional, courteous, and quickly went on to diagnose and fix the problem. He really knew what he was doing. He answered our endless questions politely and gave us a very relieved feeling. He did a fantastic job and everything was up and running in no time. He was very neat too, cleaning up after he was finished. I will recommend Total Comfort to everyone I know!

    I wanted to let you know my air conditioner suddenly went out in June. Since it was not even 5 years old I called the local company who I bought it from. It was 3pm on a Friday and they told me they could have someone over on MONDAY!I hung up and immediately called Total Comfort. Not only was your receptionist incredibly helpful and sympathetic to my situation, Cody was here within an hour!! He quickly got on TRANEs help line after explaining Tech support closes at 5 (20 minutes away). It was not good news. My control board was not repairable and nothing could be done until they checked my warranty. Cody even called me over the weekend to tell me he had tried on Saturday but we would have to wait. On Monday first thing they checked in, it was covered and by Tuesday at 11am I had air conditioning.Even though it was a tough situation, Cody was wonderful about delivering the bad news and checking on me over the weekend was above and beyond! I observed the Total Comfort team working together to quickly solve my situation.I dont want to put down another company but I was so disappointed that I had spent $8000 on a unit and they treated me with NO CONCERN. All of these employees are super, its like dealing with an old established business, many are actually relatives of the owner. My air handler had collapsed. Within 2 days Adrian, from Total comfort, rebuilt the air handler.     The Total Comfort technician arrived on time and went immediately to work. He found a badly clogged drain and filter defects. He cleaned the drain and instructed me as to how to replace the damaged filter He did a really good job and probably saved me an expensive future repair bill.

    Our A/C was leaking water into the dining room so we called this morning and they sent out the Service Repair person (John) this afternoon. He arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. John fixed the leak issue, ensured all related A/C areas were working properly, and cleaned up all that he could. The whole process, from first calling Katie at Total Comfort this morning to schedule the repair, to having John come out and fix the A/C, was efficiently done and the people we dealt with were friendly and knowledgeable. Certainly a 5 Star performance!

    My Carrier AC unit had total premature failure of outside unit coils.....when I called and said I had asthma they rushed out. Part of the coil was re-soldered ....apparently due to a factory defect...unit is only 15 months old. The service from Total Comfort always excellent with very caring service techs.

    Great service! My indoor air handler stopped working and service tech Kyle quickly determined the problem. Leslie quickly sourced repair parts and Sherry communicated that unit would be repaired the following morning. Service tech Jeremy arrived promptly as promised and repairs were completed in about an hour. All the staff were professional, caring and friendly.     Get the yearly maintenance contract with Total Comfort. The technician came out today on a Sunday all I had to do is drain the PVC pipe cuz it was plugged. Because Im a maintenance customer that was no charge on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Thats phenomenal!

    Total Comfort installed a whole house generator including replacement of a 250 gallon propane tank from another company with a 500 gallon tank. The permitting process was longer than I thought it would be but believe that was mainly a problem with the town of Palm Coast. Once the permit was issued Total Comforts work was done on time and as ordered. The generator is high quality and works as advertised.

    Today I had two techs (Nick and Nick)come to my townhouse to conduct a duct cleaning which was quoted to be in the mid $800 range. Before starting the gentlemen conducted a rather elaborate inspection of the air handler, vents and ducts then informed me that cleaning a was not required at this time and recommended that I wait for another year or so. I truly appreciated their honesty and professionalism and would recommend Total Comfort to anyone requiring AC or Heating services.
