Yonkman built our dream home and was with us every step of the process. Scott helped us find the land and guided us, he came out to plots to see if we could even build on them and advised if costs would be higher due to topography. He helped us with design and survey. He explained what would keep us in our budget. You get what you pay for and we got top quality, a beautiful home. We were in a bad situation with a horrible HOA in a home we thought was supposed to be our forever home after a family trauma. When we couldnt take it any more and knew we needed to get away and our only option was to buy land and build. Scott and our Construction Manager Curtis were on top of everything to build us a beautiful home. They saved our family, not only are they a business, but they care about the customer. Every vendor we saw to choose interior items, Scott was making sure prices were not inflated. We were given every quote. We were so amazed at how open they were with us. We saw a couple vendors outside their list just to get options as Scott said they were perfectly OK with this because they always like finding the better deal. One vendor refused to send us the quote, only wanted to send it to them thinking they wouldn’t share it with me as this is how other builders do business. They tried to increase the price so they got more money from us. Thankfully Yonkman doesnt work this way, they showed me the quote and we went with another vendor. Yonkman isnt a cookie cutter home builder that slaps homes together, if you want something cheap, built in a few months and not much support go somewhere else, but if you are looking for top quality, personalized service, someone that makes you feel like family, cares about what you want and takes the time to actually build it right without cutting corners (yes building a real quality home that wont fall apart takes time its not a fast process), will get you quality products for a good price (again quality will cost more, however they will find you the best price for top quality products), and your home wont start to fall apart in 5 years then Yonkman is the only place to go. It almost been a year since my home was finished, and Yonkman still checks in to make sure all the products installed by the vendors are still good and that we are doing good. We will forever be grateful!!
