Swift’s office and field professionals have been extremely helpful, competent and fair. Thank you!Update 10/30/24: I’ve now had the pleasure of dealing with Swift (and Andrew specifically) twice. I will never use another plumbing company. I accepted an estimate of 365$ for a diagnostic evaluation and I was charged half of that amount because Andrew did not spend as much time on the issue as he’d planned. These guys are fair and honest, in addition to being great in every other way. Thank you again, Swift!

Swift Plumbers was great from start to finish! I needed some valves replaced under my kitchen sink. After a failed and idiotic attempt to fix it myself, I finally broke down and called a plumber. They were so nice and efficient on the phone, sent an online estimate immediately and were at my house the next morning. Excellent service, everything was perfect when they left, and very friendly! The price was way more reasonable than I was expecting- I wish I had called right away! I will absolutely be using them again, although I hope I don’t need them anytime soon!!

Swift Plumbers were my heroes yesterday when I had a crisis on my hands. They were kind, efficient, conscientious, extraordinarily more knowledge than other plumbers, reasonably priced and went that extra mile which is rare these days. From now on they will always be my first call if a plumbing problem arises.An unseen water leak had caused water damage to kitchen floors and cabinets. A different plumbing company had come out the day before and not been able to find the leak (and charged me for that!) The water main handle was stuck and extremely old so Fred rearranged their busy schedule to get someone over that day and put a new one on so I could at least turn off the water supply. He also showed up that day and identified the leak location. I was only paying for water main faucet change and leak detection so his job was done. He volunteered a discounted price to what we had agreed to which was very generous. He helped me with knowing my options at that point and coming up with the best plan for ME (not HIM as my best option was to repipe whole house, pipes are over 50 years old, which he didn’t do; most would have not have shared that because it prevents them from making money repairing/patching that isolated leak.) He and his crew also stayed and helped further, pulling up the warped floorboards, drying up water as they went and laying them neatly outdoors in an inconspicuous place… which was way beyond what was being paid for.You just don’t find exceptional service like this anymore. I rarely take the time to write reviews but just had to share this time.

We Have been using Swift Plumbers for several years. They have always done a good job at a fair price. I never feel like they are trying to rip me off or do things I dont need to be done. I have never had a problem with any of the work they have done. Veronica in the office is also very good at her job and friendly. I hope they never change a thing. What they are doing is working! Thank you for helping me with any plumbing issues that pop up.

The education they provide to help you understand what they are doing and how to prevent issues in the future are invaluable. A family run business that also gives you that family feel…you aren’t just another call on their list. They sincerely care and the workmanship is second to none and at such fair prices. We had a surprise leaking water heater on a weekend. We were able to schedule Swift’s for Monday 9AM. The website was well organized to get the needed information to do the repair. The plumber was on time, well organized, efficient and neat. (His opinion matches our experience that A.O. Smith water heaters aren’t very good. They install Bradford White and they seem to last much better.) There were no surprise charges, and we were back up in a couple of hours. We would use them again without hesitation.

The toilet in our office was leaking water. Wouldn’t you know, it’s a Friday at 3 PM!! The one plumbing company I had heard good things about and referred to my own customers appreciated the referrals, but told me I needed to wait to Monday. I was quite disappointed that they knew me for my referrals, but would not return the favor and take care of me in a decent time frame.We called Swift, not knowing what would happen. We were given EXPEDIENT SERVICE that Friday afternoon. Honestly, I was expecting to pay more, because we were a company, and it was late in the day, but that was not the case. This happened years ago, shame on me for not writing a review sooner, BUT I REFER ALL MY CUSTOMERS TO Swift for their plumbing needs, and I am happy to say all my customers have been happy with them too!!!! They worked around my schedule and were super in terms of communication, punctuality, and letting me know what was necessary and even what wasnt necessary, saving me a good couple hundred dollars in extra work that I thought needed to be done but didnt. Honesty in business is always appreciated. As a fairly adept Handy Gal, I like to do as much as I can myself. However, I know my limitations and when it comes to certain plumbing jobs, Swift is the one to call. Thanks Fred and company!

We are very impressed with the service we received from Swift! We just bought a home that has an Rheem electric water heater with solar assist. The solar was working but it isn’t enough to heat the water alone. The breaker for the water heater was tripping and we couldn’t make it stay on. SO, since the sellers included a Choice Home Warranty we decided to use the warranty. It took 4 days (granted there was a weekend in there) and the tech named Jordan, that showed up from Gator Plumbing and Drain didn’t arrive until 4pm on Monday. Jordan told us it was more of an electrical problem due to his work order, and said he wasn’t trained on a solar water heater. He opened the lower panel of the heater and said it was all corroded. But said we’d have to get an electrician to fix it. He then asked for the $65 co-pay for the Choice Home Warranty agreement. What a joke! So, that evening we got online and searched for a plumber in the North Port area (reading reviews) and filled out the online request for service on Swift Plumbings website. Swift Plumbing has an appropriate name because they were swift in their response and provided estimates for replacing the heating element and one for a new water heater. There are NO surprises with this company, they tell you up front! Fred from Swift Plumbing was AWESOME! We decided to replace the water heater and get rid of the solar assist (as we learned it really doesn’t assist enough to pay for itself). Being new home owners with solar assist for hot water, we appreciated expert input. Fred is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and wasted no time removing the old unit and installing the new one. He also waited around until the heater was producing warmer water before leaving. We highly recommend Swift Plumbing. We won’t hesitate to call them for all our future plumbing needs. Thank you to the Swift Plumbing Company for supplying us hot water right before Christmas!!

Swift Plumbing did a great job fixing the leak quickly on our main water supply line after we noticed a problem the same day. Then scheduled and installed a new water supply line to our house. Turned out the previous owners installed a supply line only an inch under ground not to code and not permitted. Ugh!Thank goodness to the great plumbers at Swift plumbing that installed a new water supply line a foot deep or more up to code and permitted. All done in half a day.We are grateful and will call on Swift plumbing for all our plumbing needs 👍

I had a leak on top of our water heater. Swift was recommended by another local ac/heating service that I trust. The repair and maintenance (that I wanted done while fixing the leak) was done with no upselling. The estimate sent to me prior to the service and reflected the entire bill! I like their professional service!UPDATE: We previously had an unscrupulous contractor (possibly the original installer) who tore the label off the water heater. Victoria encouraged me to contact Rheem regarding alternatives to obtaining warranty service. I downloaded a bar code reader and was able to retrieve the serial number, etc. and had my water heater replaced. This is a great family business and the tech sent was GREAT. This was the first incidence that I have needed a plumber. I tried a handyman service but they did not fix the issue and I paid half of what Swift Plumbers charged. Fred from Swift came a couple of days after I called. He was clean, his work was neat and he truly corrected the problem and he charged me exactly what the estimate was. Plus he was very informative regarding the issue and PLEASANT!

We had a backup problem at our house . Called Swift Plumbing. They came out with-in 2 hours and fixed our problem quickly.They told us to call Charlotte Utilities and have them check their pipe going from our pipe to the sewer system because their pipe was cloughed with tree roots and was causing our backup. So weve had a place on Little Gasparilla Island for the past nine years. For those not familiar with LGI its a bridge barrier island on the SW gulf coast of Florida and not easy to get to only accessible by boat. It was one of the places devastated by Hurricane Ian in 2022. Fred was helpful to not just us but a lot of folks with severely damaged houses. Hes a busy guy but if hes available for your plumbing work I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.

Called this company to fix shower plumbing issue on my shower valve. Receptionist took the info and notes as I explained what was wrong. Put me on schedule as I needed same day service by 6 pm. Few minutes later they called and text message came. My full explanation of issue was in text message. The price was giving over the phone. Text message showed techs name, arrival time, what’s the issue and the price as well. Job was done quick and clean. Technician was polite. They knew exactly what my issue was because the price over the phone didn’t change when he arrived. So they for sure are skilled and knowledgeable company. I like their technology service and over all from calling to the end I was really happy. FOR SURE will call them back.

Well my experience was a bit different. I didn’t call swift for leak detection I called leak detection solutions (LDS). See those pics below. Well LDS marked this as the location of leak. I called swift to do the repair. After looking at location and not hearing about LDS the owner expressed some doubt. Nonetheless they dug and guess what a drain line not a water line. LDS Got it wrong luckily swift did detection found the right spot fixed the line. It’s been 8 months. Still no leak and happy.

Late Saturday afternoon I saw that my hot water heater was leaking in the garage. Ive been in the house less than a year and didnt have a local plumber. There was a Swift magnet on the heater, so I called. SO GLAD I DID! Fred answered and helped me over phone so I could get the water and power turned off to it. He said he could come on Monday to replace the heater. I said I had to work and couldnt take the day off. He said he could come Sunday. He did and what a wonderful guy! Personable, great work ethic, very helpful in general. He even checked out my shower to see if there was a leak due to a weird spot on the garage wall. All I can say is, Swift was great, and JJ B and family/friends) must have some issues that have nothing to do with Swift. THANK YOU FRED!

Since the death of my husband, I have had Swift Plumbers take care of my plumbing needs for 3 years now. It started with a broken drain pipe in the concrete floor of both of my bathrooms and leaking copper water pipes. The drains were repaired and flex water lines were installed throughout my home. I couldnt be more pleased. They completed the work in a timely manner with such professionalism and concern for my needs. Its something you hardly see these days. These guys really know their stuff and always go the extra mile. Theyre professional, knowledgeable, friendly and get the job done. In the past month, they have replaced my water heater and fixed cracked leaky pipes under my kitchen sink. In the latter case, they even rerouted the plumbing under my sink so that I had more storage room. I was really impressed and very appreciative. Give these guys a call.
