    My hurricane screens are 3 years old, I have 5 of them in various sizes. I love and use them quite often. During the first year 2 of them needed to be replaced due to improper sizing. Soon after a third one, the smallest, started to hang up and not go all the way down. Lately it’s been happening all the time, I have to push it down to close. I finally called Storm Smart because the SCREENS are guaranteed, (5 years). I’m sure this one also needs to be replaced. I was informed that I would have to pay $160 to have a service call to replace a product under warranty. Not right, these screens were very expensive , give us the customer service that you promised during the sale.

    Our shutters held up during Ian and are grateful. Storm Smart techs and leadership stood by their word to honor their warranty for some minor issues. Highly recommend - we use the screens every day as an extension of our home, for security and to protect our lanai from the elements. So worth it.

    I want to compliment my Installer . He goes by the name G . My Storm Shade arrived just before Tropical Storm Debby Hit. It was discovered that the Attached Bag and straps were not made . So this meant the installation could not be done. I was disappointed with the storm only a few days away. G was uncertain how long this would take . My wife was disappointed. , but G came came back on his own to install the screen without the bag and straps so that we had protection for the Storm. He returned after the Storm to take it down and bring it to be completely finished. Once this was done he came back to do the final installation.He did this all while being kind , courteous and professional.     If you could give more than 5 stars I would. Just endured Debby (our first storm following install) and our storm smart protection was amazing. Did not need every window in a Tropical storm but with a push of a button we could protect anything that would blow around. And when the rain was sideways at the double front door and water started to leak under I just pushed another button and down came that shutter. Do not delay. This is absolutely the best thing any homeowner could do in Florida.

    We learned of Storm Smart from our neighbors installation and good word on the company.We called in April 2024 to set up an appointment to discuss their hurricane roll down curtains.Our salesperson LJ came and explained their product, installation and benefits. We were pretty impressed with all the details provided for the curtains for our lanai area. We also inquired about the same material for all of our windows. We asked for a “ball park” estimate for the windows and were told “around a couple hundred per window”. Our price for the lania curtains came in exactly where we were given, BUT the windows came in at about $700 per window. Where Im from a couple means two, maybe three hundred but not double.Products were presented and explained in detail.After permits were obtained by Storm Smart, the installation was scheduled quickly and performed in a timely manner, actually a month earlier than predicted.We chose to only buy the three for our lanai.Skipping the highly over priced window curtains.Our installer named Ray R. arrived and immediately we were super impressed with him. He explained everything he’d be doing. Super friendly, knowledgeable of their product. Ray is an absolute benefit to your company. He is a fantastic representative of your business and you should be proud of him.Unfortunately, during manufacturing someone measured incorrectly and new covers needed to be re-fabricated and the two day process took three. No biggie.I was not happy with how the manual silver connections were installed, leaving them uneven. I was told it was something to do with how the motor was installed, it looks dumb how the two are in two different locations right beside each other. Truth be told this is the only thing I’d say was poor of our whole process.UPDATE 5/29/24 just as the businesses reply below states, they have come out, looked at my concern and are immediately making the corrections to make me 100% happy vs the 99% I was prior. This company has top notch customer service and very friendly employees. Thank you again!!

    After Hurricane Ian, there was much damage over a widespread area, so it took several months even to get the first service call. While aggravating, it was understandable. After that, it was 2 more service calls to complete the replacement of the damaged screens. We live in 2 unit villa. Our home suffered no damage to Storm Smart covered openings. Our roofmate was totally unprotected and had significant damage to their lanai and had to brace their slider as it bowed into their living room during the storm. They have since put up accordion blinds because they didnt want to spend the $$ for Storm Smart. OUR S.S. screens saved us and we are thankful. Yes, they cost more, but are soooo worth it!

    Products were presented and explained in detail.After permits were obtained by Storm Smart, the installation was scheduled quickly and performed in a timely manner.Our installer, Teddy Cannon and his crew, were very knowledgeable, polite and efficient.     Our accordian shutters were super easy to engage before Ian. The lanai screens are the best product weve ever bought. The stood strong through 12 hours of eye wall force winds. No damage and all my furniture stayed in place and dry.The flamingos in the photo never moved.

    We are incredibly happy with our lanai storm screens we had installed today by this company in Northport! Extreme professionalism! They came out and measured, applied for the permit, arrived on time with their electrician and installers! Everything went smooth! They told us they were about three months out, but fit us in in a month! Way cheaper than our other bid! These can withhold a 5 cat hurricane! Super happy, thankful we ran into them at the Home Depots Door!

    We hired Storm Smart to replace a hurricane screen, that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian.From the moment we contacted Storm Smart, we were very much in communication. He said it would be about 10 weeks, and it was. They kept us up to date, right up until the day before installation. They were on time, professional and courteous. When we called the salesperson, he actually answered his phone. We consider that a huge deal, since, most of the time, you get an automated service. We highly recommend Storm Smart. You cannot go wrong!

    Wed just moved to FLA little over a month ago, and our neighbors in our condo community recommended STORM SMART when we lamented having those huge metal hurricane curtains in our garage (whose gonna hang those up?)From the moment we met with Helene - a consummate salesperson with proven customer communication skills, product knowledge, and fun to work with - to the installation of hurricane screens around our corner unit lanai by Phil and B, we knew wed made a good choice. Phil and B arrived on time and ready to work. They worked efficiently, kept to schedule, showed us how the curtains worked, and left area clean before leaving. Customer service and proven product in one company? Almost unheard of today. STORM SMART has both qualities, plus I believe well get credit on our homeowners insurance with these installed.     Storm Smart screens were already installed on our house when we bought. Our inexperienced neighbor installed the screens before Ian in about 30 minutes (10 windows).We also have motorized screens on our lanai that performed perfectly, and we use them all the time to create a more comfortable outdoor living space.Storm Smart came out to inspect all our screens after Ian to make sure they were still ok.Would definitely recommend this product and company🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

While I have not yet had to use the screens, I feel comfortable that they will work well when needed - Jawan and Aaron showed me during the entire installation that they take pride in their work, delivering a quality install. They were on time, courteous and took the time to explain everything about the screens in detail.Im happy that I replaced the steel shutters that came with my home with screens from Storm Smart. The shutters were cumbersome and took hours to install and remove; the screens are lightweight, easy to install plus Ill be able to see what is going on should we have to endure another hurricane like Ian.
