    I received approval for the My Safe Florida program and reached out to a few different companies in the area. Tropic Storm Protection was by far the best option and the easiest to work with in the North Port area (not to mention the nearly year-long waits at some of the bigger regional companies in the area). From beginning to end, the entire team was professional, fast, and friendly. I enjoyed the experience and cant recommend them enough! Also, the windows look great!

    During the rough winds, harsh rains & length of hurricane Ian my mother was stuck in the position of holding her front door shut from the inside as it pulsated from the pressure of the storms ferociousness. After going thru that trouble she reached out to Tropic Storm Protection team and with in days they were out to help her get the home properly secured. She now has a home full of screens , accordions and a metal roll down to secure that front door !! Tropic acted quickly, professionally and with that said we couldn’t be happier and feel more secure for the next time ! Thank you Tropic team !

    We were just clobbered by one of the most powerful hurricanes in history. Hurricane Ian leveled 3 counties in SW Florida. A few of my aluminum shutters were torn off the house. I wasnt comfortable using the shutter company who previously installed my shutters. 24 hours after the Hurricane, I contacted Tropic Storm Protection. I knew they would be slammed, however with 2 more months of Hurricane season on the horizon I did not want to be caught in a vulnerable position. Within 24 hours of contacting Tropic Storm Protection, I had a new set of shutters waiting to be picked up. I highly recommend using them. They are truly good people.

    We called Tropical Storm, Nathan come out and Really new his product, this was the third company we had over for lanai storm shutters.They didn’t only have a better product but the price was better too:) they come out did a professional job installing and did a great cleanup, I would recommend this company bigtime, we liked there work so much we had Nathan give a price on some Hurricane windows, he gave me a great price so we decide to buy windows also. Once again awesome work. Love my power shutters and love my windows.

    Tropic Storm Protection recently completed the installation of 3 electric shutters on my lanai. Everything was completed in 2 days and looks great. The entire crew was very professional and they cleaned up everything as they were doing the installation. Their pricing was very competitive, their product (Atlas Armor) meets the Miami-Dade codes, and the warranty is for 10 years. They handled the entire process including getting the permit. I would recommend them and would use them again.

    We remodeled a house in Venice during the last 8 months. Nathan Clark and Tropic Storm protection were the best of the various contractors and businesses we worked with.     Great service and highly competent company. Called and scheduled an estimate to repair a motorized shutter. They arrived as scheduled, and after identifying the problem they said they could fix it on the spot. Which they. In and out in about an hour and at a very reasonable price.     Topic Storm did a really nice job installin our storm shutters Painter screwed them up with a hurricane coming. Although they were backed up with other jobs, they squeezed us in in advance of the storm. Great job. We will be using them for the next set of storm shutters we need to install.

    I needed someone to fix one of my storm shutters and found Tropic Storm Protection on Angie’s list. I called and received a prompt reply Someone came out right away to fix the shutters but was unable to do so at that time because additional equipment was needed to service them since I am in a second floor condo. They immediately set up a date when they could come out.Nathan and Jeffrey arrived this morning and were at work immediately. They were both professional and courteous. Jeffrey also checked my other storm shutters in case there might be a problem. Their fee seemed to be in keeping with the work performed.     We have electric roll down Shutters on our lanai that we use daily for window covering as well as security. Last Thursday one stopped working. I called on Friday morning, spoke with Nathan who assured me they could repair them and at 9 Monday morning Jeff and another man did a great job and at such a reasonable charge. They are coming back to repair our sliding doors next week. What a find locally! Give them a call.

    Nathan single handedly saved us $1400!!! A ‘regarded’ shutter company gave us a FAKE repair/replacement estimate for a supposed dead shutter motor.Thank you Nathan for your second opinion!! And hour of cleaning the gears saved us an unnecessary motor replacement as well as being quoted with the wrong motor!

Im even more impressed how they held up to hurricane Ian. The shutters held up great up to the force of hurricane Ian and after the storm was over they closed as they are suppose to.
