    Elco did a fantastic job for us. We were placing our home on the market and needed help patching a drywall joint that had separated out over the years. Elco came in and repaired MY attempted repair, patched and sanded a couple of other rough spots, painted the walls perfectly, and left our house without a speck of dust. All this on short notice and at a reasonable price. You cant ask for a better painting contractor.

    When we renovated our kitchen, we decided on a custom wooden range hood, which meant a custom paint job to match the new cabinets. My wife and I (along with our kitchen designer and contractor) were worried about the hood matching the factory finish of our new cabinets.ELCO worked with us and our contractor to acquire the appropriate cabinet lacquer to ensure a matching finish.The end result is perfect; the hood blends seamlessly into our new kitchen.We highly recommend ELCO. They provide quality work and responsive customer service.

    My house is 40+ years old and the wood clapboards definitely showed those years ! We decided to not go plastic siding , but instead sand, fill, caulk and apply 100% primer on all clapboards verses spot prime. Elco painted our house many years ago and we were happy then; after getting several quotes Elcos proposal and previous workmanship locked them in again :o) I would have given them 10 stars, but this review page only allowed for 5 stars. Very pleasant Team to work with. We are very happy with the end results of all the exterior painting ! Great Job Rosa, Steve, Bob and Louis.

    The staff at Elco painting are professional, responsive, and flexible. Sam and Cody were patient with me, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and really listened to how I wanted my cabinet hardware to look. They were kind to my two dogs, and did an outstanding job. They took great care in covering all the areas in my kitchen that were not going to be painted as well as cordoning off the kitchen so that the paint wouldn’t be sprayed where it didn’t belong. They covered the floors with care. Our 1990’s, golden brown cabinets now look bright, clean, and modern. I’m so happy with my “new” kitchen. I literally saved $8000 by having my cabinets painted as opposed to refaced and they look like they came out of a factory. I highly recommend this company!

    I am beyond pleased with Elco - exterior painting done on my home. Ryan, gave me an estimate the next day after meeting. I was able to text any questions I had, he replied immediately. To begin with, Nestaly did a great and thorough job power washing and even removed heavy furniture from my deck. Ricky and Bethany did an outstanding job painting. They were so accommodating and gracious. They even left me a sweet note when they completed the work because I wasn’t at home. Chris visited often to see how things were going and did a thorough ongoing and final inspection. He also replied with any questions or concerns I had right away. Even when I initially called the office to inquire, a person answered the phone – and Haley emailed all the information I needed. I hope I didn’t miss anyone – a fabulous team.     ELCO did an excellent job on my fathers house in Portsmouth. My dad had them do some exterior and interior painting, and he said ELCO is high quality/ low cost compared to other RI companies. Add to that, this family-run business treated my father with such courtesy, even personally delivering a refund check because hed over-paid on the invoice. If I lived in RI I would definitely hire ELCO!

Elco gave us a prompt and competitive quote and delivered a high quality finished product.     We hired ELCO Painting to paint our kitchen cabinets, two walls of dark colored brick and our brick kitchen backsplash.Bob Gaudette who came out to estimate the job was so nice and was able to provide us with the total cost for the project before he left our home. The team that did the work were on time, very courteous and friendly and did a GREAT JOB!!!! We are so happy with the outcome and how wonderful and bright our kitchen looks now!     ELCO completely refreshed the outside of our 20+ yr old house. They were here every day it wasn’t raining until the work was done and stayed on schedule. They replaced trim and shingles where needed, sandblasted and prepped, and did a beautiful paint job. Their work is detailed oriented, they even removed a bunch of nails under the roofline that I didn’t notice before where the previous owners hung Christmas lights. The team was very polite and professional. We are extremely pleased with the outcome, and the way they stayed on schedule. Highly recommend!!!

The team painted my honey oak kitchen cabinets white. What a transformation! The kitchen cabinets came out awesome and the paint job is holding up great.     Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. I had a small interior job that I feared might be too small for them. Send an email inquiry one evening and got a call from the estimator the next day who promptly came over and looked at the job and gave me an estimate on the spot.The job was scheduled promptly and the workmanship and quality exceeded all expectations.     We recently had our downstairs, hallway, front door, and bathrooms painted. We were impress on how efficient, receptive, and thorough from booking the appointment to the finish product. Our upstairs bathroom ceiling has been problematic for mold and peeling. Disney was extremely dedicated in overseeing that the job was done to our satisfaction. Edward diligently worked on the ceiling to remedy the problem. All the painters who worked on the job were polite and professional.     Workers arrived each day and on time to paint the exterior of my Cape Cod style home which required a great deal of attention to detail. There was no inconvenience to me at all throughout the duration of this project. The finished product is just superb.     Elco has done three jobs for us over the past several years (porch painting, entire house painting, and several interior rooms), and my wife and I been very impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their work. They arrived on schedule, finished on schedule, and were easy to work with throughout the process. Perhaps most impressive was the painters attention to detail. Previous painters in our house had been quite sloppy, so Elcos excellent trim work, clean paint lines, etc., really made a difference. They rarely miss anything, and when they do, they happily fix it, even if it requires multiple touch ups.We were particularly impressed with the most recent job, which they scheduled on short notice and completed in record time in order to have a guest room ready for visitors. The owner, Steve, even stopped by several times to check on the work.Its certainly possible to find a painting company that charges less than Elco, but in our experience, we really got what we paid for with them. I highly recommend them.

    We have been using Elco Painting for interior and exterior painting and staining for almost 10 years. Outdoors, theyve maintained our front porch, front door and fence.     We have used ELCO Painting many times throughout the years on various home and business painting jobs. They always go above and beyond expectations. Their painters are courteous and careful and communicate well. They clean up after themselves and look for ways to make the jobs special. We are always pleased with the completion of their work. For example, the bollards around the electric and gas entrances were painted, they power washed more than expected, they found several maintenance items and coordinated with other contractors to get the tasks completed.     I have known the Elliot Family for many years. This is a true “Family” business. They are extremely knowledgeable about their craft and have done numerous jobs for my business and my home.     My ceiling was left stained and cracked after an HVAC repair in the attic above. ELCO repaired and painted it and it looks as good as new. You’d never know it was ever damaged! I wasn’t expecting it to look perfect; I was just hoping we’d be able to make the damage less noticeable. Paint match was spot on, too. My expectations have been exceeded! Will definitely call again!

    Elco just finished painting our home and shed. What a professional group of meticulous workers! Ken Elliott oversaw this project, and came on site several times. Because our home was built prior to 1978, we had layers of lead paint on some of the shingles. The team painstakingly removed the peeling paint, all within the letter of the lead paint laws. Quite impressive!Emilio and Edgar are painters who are perfectionists. They painted our home as if it were their own home, always communicating with us to make sure we were satisfied. We could see the pride in their eyes. The crew arrived on time every day, and completed the job as stated. The grounds were cleaned each night, and they respected our home and privacy. It was obvious that Emilio and Edgar were happy to come to work every day, and this speaks volumes about Elco! Give them a call...you wont be disappointed!

    Elco painted our house and deck 2 years ago. They also replaced some railings on our deck.2 years later, the railings that weren’t replaced, began rotting through.I spoke with Ken Elliot about my issue and he was on site within 20 minutes.His carpenter came over, measured what he needed, replaced and painted all the railings.I can’t say enough about their responsiveness and the quality of their work.

From the painters (excellent), to the door refinishing, (superb) , the carpenter who rebuilt stairs, the sanders who sanded the decks, the owner who arrived on time to provide an estimate and contact when necessary, the bookkeeper and the office manager..     Was able to schedule me the same week for a paint job of the entire interior of my condo. Completed the job in three days and was in and out while I was at work. The paint looked beautiful. When I had an issue with the paint in the bathroom running because I didn’t use the vent, they came back and repainted it for me. I would highly recommend.

    At the start, we had a small hiccup about the starting date, for which they were very apologetic. Our painter was Oscar. He was very meticulous and made sure we were satisfied with everything he did. He also told us that if we saw something that needed a touch-up (after he left), to call and they would take care of it.
