Must be at least six years ago I left the below review. I count on Transworldinc all the time. They are prompt, courteous, and have always accomplished what I wanted plus my wife always asks them to do “one more thing” and they do it gladly. Just had them out Tuesday 10/8/24 and they were great.Jamel and his crew led by Richie were very professional and followed through on a big job with a full re-wire of our home. They are responsive and know what they are doing. I have already recommended them to some neighbors.

Jamel wrote my quote in both cases, he is very sharp, on time, organized, and courteous. No up-selling and very straight shooter. Transworld Electric is lucky to have such outstanding employees. Highly recommended.

Technicians Charles and Ramon were on time, performed tasks professionally and knowledgeable in advising options for installation of outlets and running conduits for wiring. They worked quickly and quietly as my husband was still sleeping. When he woke, all work was done, everything cleaned up and he was very pleased with the job. We called Transworld on a Friday afternoon to set up a last minute appointment on Monday. The next day, Saturday our electrical issues got worse and they sent someone out to reassure us and make sure everything was safe until Monday. Recently had my electric wires form the services pole to the house put underground. Used the rules of 3 (actually got 4) and got estimates from reputable places here in Charleston, SC. Transworld was 1k cheaper then everyone else. I dealt with Jamel Anderson - Residential Service Manager and was very impressed. I’m completely redoing my “fixer-upper” and have dealt with contractors in various phases of the project and Jamel has by far left the best impression. Is prompt in communication, follows up with the promises he makes. Very professional. Would have no problem referring him/Transworld. Thanks again !

This business really impressed me. Our veterinary practice hired a different firm to complete an electrical job in preparation of an x-ray installation. Sadly, they did the job incorrectly and late, putting our business in a pinch (and risking damage to a very expensive piece of equipment). I was so impressed with how the team at Transworld Electric came to our rescue. They visited our business within 2 hours of my speaking with them to assess the job and provide an accurate quote. Then, they completed the work the very next day. The work was done properly (after taking down the wiring of the other electrician), they were professional and their pricing was very reasonable. I wish I had found them from the start but at least now we know who to call when we need electrical work!

We had Ken and Richard come to hang a new light fixture. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. I was concerned about the weight of the fixture given the thin wires provided but Ken explained that these were aircraft strength wires and the fixture was well designed to carry the fixtures weight. He made us feel much more comfortable with the design of the fixture. We had a great experience and would call Transworld again for future electrical needs.

I had a new septic system installed in the backyard that includes a pump and it needed a dedicated circuit run out to it. Jamel came out and gave me a quote for the dedicated circuit work, saw the unsafe workaround I was currently using to get power to the septic system, and he squeezed me in immediately at my convenience and sent some guys out to do the work. Transworld did timely, quality work and also came in under the estimate. Appreciate the work they did for us and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely a great & saving find!!! We had a major power surge in our home just before Thanksgiving. I wanted to have all the wiring in the house tested & knew from an experience many years ago that this would mean tearing out almost all of the sheet rock in the house to inspect the wiring.Much to my surprise, I found out that its possible to check the wiring without major destruction. Infrared & ultrasound of every wire behind the walls & removal of all the outlet faceplate to check voltages & resistance. Thats it.Jamal & Jamel were both excellent technicians. It took a day & a half to complete the survey & it was done in a friendly & professional manner. They even recommended installing a surge protector between the outside electrical service & my breaker panel so everything in the house is protected if this happens again in the future.Great team, great work hard an absolute pleasure knowing I wont lose any electrical appliances should we have another surge.Thanks very much for an outstanding job & comprehensive written report of your findings.

I want to thank Charles and Ramon for finishing a incomplete project by another company- who didn’t want to reschedule for over a month. They repaired a new fan that didn’t work because the transistor was too close to another fan. They installed my outdoor fans- where the last company said I needed to have the fan area be rebuilt- they brought the appropriate extending fan boxes- got those babies in there! Every single fan is installed! Super reasonable. In 5.5 hours- the took apart a fan and figured out the problem- they added the structure needed for 3 outdoor fans and installed them, moved a master room fan to a guest room and put up my new remote controlled fan. Additionally, completed the wall switches that needed to be reorganized because of the fans!! Awesomely done ✅ Thank you Charles and Ramon!

They completely rewired my office to current code standards in less time then estimated which allowed us to be back up and operating. I am an avid DIY-er and prefer to do most things myself, however, I have my limits. Transworld evaluated my work and made recommendations for improvements. They fixed my wiring issues quickly and caught a mistake I made which could have created issues down the road. They suggested reasonable upgrades for my consideration as well. They are professional, efficient and courteous. The rate is fair; not too high, not too low. You can probably find cheaper contractors in town but electrical work is somewhere you do not want to cut corners - fires and electrical damage are more costly than saving a few bucks an hour on labor. The lowest-bid is the lowest-bid for a reason.

In almost every instance,being a residential customer has its drawbacks when you work with an organization that has a commercial division. In this case the entire team at Transworld Electric including upper management rallied together to fix a problem in my home that left me without power for days. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and their senior technician explained everything that had happened and why in great detail. Best of all they fixed the problem immediately as if I was a commercial customer. I would absolutley recommend their residential and commercial team to anyone and will.

Transworld performed a CurrentSAFE electrical hazard detection on our house after our house was stuck by lightning. Darren and Phillip showed up on time and were very courteous, professional and respectful. They worked efficiently to test everything starting from outside where electricity connects to the house (including the HVAC disconnects) and then worked methodically inward to test the breaker panels in the garage and then into our house where they tested the light switches, outlets and circuits.I was interested in better understanding the nature of their testing and how it worked and they were kind enough to explain how the equipment worked and what they were testing. When they were finished, they gave me a high level overview of what they found and also told me there were some minor issues they took care of during the testing. They told me they would write up the test results and review them with me the following week. Transworld reached out to me to schedule the follow up call at my convenience. I was provided with very detailed report including pictures to review in advance of the call and we walked through the entire document during the dall.I was very pleased with the work performed and the customer service provided by Darren and Phillip. If anyone has any concern about possible electrical issues in their house, I definitely recommend reaching out to Transworld. The CurrentSAFE testing provided us with peace of mind with respect to our electrical system.

Richie Smith from TransWorld came out to my house this am for an ongoing electrical problem. Ive had other electricians try and troubleshoot the issue with no success. Richie came into my home and had the issue resolved within 30 minutes!! It was incredible! It was evident from the moment he arrived at my home that he was pro-customer. He kindly introduced himself and asked me to explain the issue I was having. After that, he began to troubleshoot and within minutes he had determined the problem and resolved the issue. Yoven and Xavier were great to work with. They showed up to install some outdoor outlets and a dedicated outlet for a camper. They were very courteous and professional and the installation went great. After it was complete and we plugged my camper back in, there was an issue with the power inverter (not related to the work they did). They went above and beyond and took the inverter home to troubleshoot it and fix it, and came back the next day and got the camper fired up and working again. Id definately use them again in a heartbeat. Great People, great service, and a great end product.
