Sleeping easy tonight because of Alexander Plumbing’s outstanding service. When closing up my home for the night (around midnight) I discovered that my gas fireplace was stuck in the on position. I am new to this home and do not have the key to the gas valve that leads to the fireplace. The 24/7 operator was kind and was able to quickly connect me with Ken. Once on the phone with Ken, he helped assess the situation on FaceTime, reviewed my gas lines and the fireplace, and ultimately managed to help me turn the gas back down to the pilot. To top things off, Ken did not bill me for the emergency assistance, even though I had him on the phone until close to 1am. Everyone I worked with was helpful, professional, and very responsive. I highly recommend Alexander Plumbing, especially if you have an urgent issue. I plan to have them come to service the fireplace to ensure it works correctly going forward.

Fantastic service! I called on a Wed. Spencer came over the next day and wrote the estimate immediately on site for the myriad of plumbing needs around my house: new water heater and water sensor, 3 sink faucet and drain replacements, fixing the outdoor spigot, fixing the tub faucet and drain, and installing a new pan under my washing machine. I paid a deposit and Ron and Jim arrived the next week when I was available. I appreciated that they went the extra mile and stayed the whole day to complete all the work (9am-5:30pm). They did a great job, got along well with each other, and each had a good sense of humor to boot. Ron even vacuumed the hallway where the water heater and washing machine are located afterward with their shopvac (the HVAC and laundry are on the second floor of my townhouse). The carpet looked better than when I vacuum it myself. Their office staff was very helpful and answered all my questions about the water heater permit process. Its a joy to see and use all these plumbing related things I put off for too long. Highly recommend!

Pool heater, that was under warranty, didnt work right after pool was opened. Called Alexander Plumbing and they sent a technician out. Jim was fantastic. He arrived on time and was super courteous and knowledgeable. Ran several diagnostic checks on the heater. Unfortunately it needed some parts replacing. But the next working day Jim came back and got the heater up and running. Bonus was that unit was still under warranty, so it didnt cost me anything. Highly recommend the company.

Alex is an amazing/honest business man, a hidden gem! I called and asked him several questions and he took the time to explain the pros/cons of each possible solution. Todays service was merely to check on the level of coolant in my AC system, since they installed a new condenser last year and they wanted to be sure that it would work properly when it got warm. They were affordable upfront, until extra costs and extra stress made it worthwhile for us to seek an alternative.Thankfully we reached out to Alexander Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning.Our estimate for a sink replacement was provided by Ken, the owner, and although it was $110 higher than from the other plumber, I wanted to see how the service from Alexander’s compared.I was impressed – we had supplied the cosmetic parts, and no other additional parts were deemed necessary. Even though an issue was encountered while remounting the original faucet, it was solved ingeniously, without any added expense. The original faucet copper lines were reinstalled, and no leakage observed anywhere.I feel you get what you pay for, and Alexander Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning provided us good value and great service. We are already discussing subsequent kitchen and bathroom ventilation projects with them.

I use Alexander Plumbing at my place of business, and have always been happy with every aspect of their service.I called Ken, the owner, and asked if he could do me a favor and come to an elderly couples home, who are on a very fixed income and the husband who is bedridden/homebound, to look at their furnace. They had gotten another company to come out and were told they needed to replace their furnace. I was a little untrusting, so I asked Ken to do me a favor and send one of his guys to take a look and tell me what they thought was needed. Instead of sending one of his technicians, Ken said he would meet me there himself. Without going into much further detail, Ken discovered that all that was needed was battery replacement of the thermostat, and that the furnace was in fine working order.. Not only did Ken not charge this couple, he even took the time to change a lightbulb for them, and told them to call him any time they needed anything at all.Ken, and everyone at Alexander Plumbing and Heating, including all their technicians and all their office staff are always helpful, friendly, honest, and trustworthy.Without a doubt, I recommend Alexander Plumbing & Heating EVERY TIME.

He could have easily talked us into a very expensive option but gave us his best recommendation as if it were his own home. I was very impressed with Alexander Plumbing. My water heater stopped heating. I reached a live answering service. They were courteous and efficient, I got a timely response from Ken, the owner. Then another response from the plumber covering for the evening. Ken came out around 10 PM and diagnosed the problem accurately. They installed a new water heater on time and at the estimated price. They cleaned up afterwards. Rapid response, courteous, clean workmanship, and integrity. Can’t ask for much more. Ken and his team have my highest recommendation.

Called Alexander Plumbing for an emergency plumbing situation. Long story short, we needed our sprinkler pipe fixed. They were the only company that could turnaround within 24 hours to fix the problem for us. We had to shut off our water supply over the entire weekend, during the midst of a heat wave, so it was definitely a painstaking few days. After they fixed the pipe, they actually discovered a leak in our main water pipe, which required a full water pipe replacement. They told us about the situation and promised to fix it in 2 days.2 days later, Ken brought his crew of people (5 people), including excavators, to start the work. They arrived right around 8am on a 95 degree day and quickly got to work. One thing that stood out is that Kens team is diligent and professional. They know what theyre doing -> its no joke of a task. Doing this on a 95 degree day with efficiency was even more amazing.The team was very coordinated and well prepared. With a 30+ year old home, snaking out the old pipe was no easy task as it was more than 6 feet underground and curved in and out. The team knew what they were doing and could easily explain what is going on. Very impressed by the team and would highly recommend Alexander Plumbing for any plumbing-related issues.

They handled tricky installations of three smart thermostats, and then when the old boiler started to fail they put in a great new one that handles domestic hot water as well as heat for the house.
