    I highly recommend Briggs for your heat pump installation. Tony, our project manager, was very responsive and communicative and willing to think through ideas with us. Corey who led the install team was very knowledgeable and also willing to think through ideas with us. I really appreciated that he made sure to check on placement decisions before the individual unit installs. The team was very neat both with the piping and wiring and about the job site. Chris who came out for the initial quote and the final inspection is also great to work with- very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was made sure we got the available rebates/incentives for the new system. We did not need to do any of that work ourselves which was invaluable. All in all, I would recommend them to any of my friends or family looking to upgrade their HVAC system.

    I highly recommend Briggs for your heat pump installation. Chris who did initial walk through was very knowledgeable about the product and rebate options. The installation crew was great, extremely polite, vacuumed up each room after install, and always asking if we had any questions. They confirmed all locations prior to starting, heat pump and 6 head units. The team helped walk through the rebate and HeatLoan process. They made it straight forward and easy to take advantage of all savings available. They also provided a binder with all warranty and product manuals, very nice! I would recommend them to any of my friends or family looking to upgrade their HVAC system.

    Needed to upgrade my AC/Heat system in my house and decided we wanted a Heat Pump System. Called a couple contractors they either never called back or said they could get out there and have a look at it in the next 60 days to give an estimate. When I called and spoke with Mike at Briggs, he was out within a week and got me a quote right away. Very professional in every way. Decided to go with them and could not be happier with the results. Once we signed paperwork their project manager Tony, (great guy and very informative) came out to evaluate the job and got us in the schedule. When the install team came they were very professional, put down drop cloths everywhere they were going to be and vacuumed up any debris that may have fallen from the attic at the end of the day (Blown in insulation). My wife was very impressed at how clean they kept the house. The project took 2 days to complete and could not be happier with the results. The beauty is, they did every aspect of the job. They have an in-house electrician so I did not have to rely on a sub contractor doing another part of the job. Mike came out a few days later to go over the project with us, give us a binder with all manuals etc and had already registered the system with Trane for the warranty. Highly recommend if you are in need of a great HVAC contractor.

    We are extremely happy with our experience with Briggs Heating and Air Conditioning! We had a Mitsubishi heat pump installed with 2 split units in the upstairs bedrooms. These units are saving us on oil, the workmanship was impeccable! The staff was all wonderful! Mike and Terry went above and beyond to help us . The service staff was on time, polite, and very neat.     I cant say enough good things about Briggs Mechanical! After researching a couple different companies to install a mini split system I decided to get a couple different quotes. The first company although having high reviews on google tried to up sell me big time recommending equipment I did not need for my situation! Chris from Briggs came by and listened to my needs and recommended a system perfect for my situation. This company has a high degree of integrity and professionalism. They show up exactly when they say they will and do exactly what has been planned on. The whole project went seamless from planning to completion. I had a Mitsubishi 18,000 BTUs cooling and 20,000 BTUs of hyper heating installed in my kitchen. The fist floor forced hot water base board in my house during normal cold works good. However during extreme cold my kitchen and living room would see temps of 60 degrees in the living room and 57 degrees in the kitchen. Now my kitchen and living room have been toasty warm during this latest cold snap with 12 and 16 degree temps at night. The T-Stat for the hot water baseboard barely calls for heat now. After the system was installed I could not even tell they were there as they cleaned up so well. Also they were done by 11:30 AM. Thanks Briggs Mechanical! I will look to Briggs for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.Chris from Briggs is great to work with and I highly recommend him he will even help you with any energy rebates.

    We chose Briggs Mechanical to install our A/C system this past fall and are glad we did.After 20 years of installing window A/C units every summer, we decided it was time to explore the cost of installing a central A/C system. I had heard about the Mass Save rebate program and thought this would help offset the costs. I contacted several contractors listed and endorsed on the Mass Save website. We meet with 3 contractors who provided estimates for various systems. After the initial Sticker Shock and reviewing their recommended systems, we decided the Mitsubishi heat pump mini split wall and ceiling cassette units were the way to go. This system not only provides A/C but also heat to offset the use of oil in colder months. Since the rebate covered almost 1/3 of the cost, it was a no brainer. We decided on Briggs Mechanical based on their initial presentation and the details included in the estimate. Chris, who was our initial contact, was very clear in his presentation of this particular system. He also walked us through the Mass Save loan/rebate process which was of particular interest.We took advantage of the no interest Mass Save loan program. Chris provided all the documentation we would need to submit in the application process. A few weeks later, Pat the project manager, walked through the house with me explaining exactly how the installation would be done. A week or so later, the installation began. Corey and Connor, the installers, did an amazing job running the lines and installing the 5 units. They came everyday with clean drop cloths and were very careful to ensure the work areas were spotless before they left. Corey set the system up on the Mitsubishi Kumo Cloud app allowing us to control it through the internet.Following the completion of the project, another appointment was scheduled with Chris to address any questions or issues we may have had.Briggs Mechanical took care of submitting all paperwork to Mass Save for the rebate.We are extremely pleased with the entire process from start to finish. All the staff in the field as well as the office are knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to use Briggs again or to recommend them for any HVAC work.

    Not only did these guys work with my wife and I in regards to our budget, they also answered all our questions very quickly - there was no chasing at all!! The install crew were FANTASTIC!!     Had an A/C and heat pump installed last week. The crew were very polite and left my house as clean as they found it. They were very respectful when in the house. I work from home right under where they were installing equipment. At times i couldnt tell anyone was in the house.     Definitely recommend!!!! They came at 2pm and did not leave until the job was done which was literally over two hours later!!!! Very professional and polite!!! Thank goodness they were able to fix the a/c because it was very hot outside again and I was finally able to sleep comfortably again!! Only thing now is there is absolutely zero air coming from the vents. The outside thing is working just not getting any cool air now we did yesterday for rest of the day and night but stopped getting cool air through the vents now hopefully they can come back out sooner this time

    I had Briggs Mechanical out to service my furnace and air handler. The experience from start to finish was excellent. I called them and Renee took care of the scheduling. She explained the Comfort Club program they have and it was exactly what I was looking for. The technician was on time and spent more than 2 hours cleaning and servicing the equipment in my home. He gave us tips on which filters to use and explained why.This is not my first experience with this company. Mike Briggs came out himself and inspected and fixed some problems when we first bought the home. Again, he spent a long time in the home and was thorough. The price was fair and I was satisfied with the service. The company is professional and seamless to work with.

    We chose Briggs to replace our 32 year old AC system, two condensers and two air handlers. We were very impressed with this company starting with the “no pressure” sales meeting with Chris who answered all our questions. The installation process went great with Corey and his team. It was a three day job and Corey arrived on time each morning and always checked in with us to see if we had any questions about the work that was planned for that day or the work they had completed the previous day. As a homeowner having work done in your home can be intimidating, but Corey and his team went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and confident about the work being done..     We selected Briggs for our min-split installation after getting two other estimates. Chris from their sales team spent at least an hour with us, really trying to understand what we were looking for, how we spend time in the house, what our expectations were. He got us a quote over the weekend, just as he said he would, and he answered multiple questions we had via email. Briggs was the best value, and they had also been recommended by friends who had used them. When the equipment came in, they scheduled us the following week. The installation technicians were great, very personable and professional. They kept our house neat and clean, were on time both days, answered all our questions, and finished a day ahead of schedule. Weve already started using the downstairs unit for supplemental heat and cant wait to have a cool summer. We would definitely recommend Briggs, they did a great job!

    Briggs installed a new gas furnace and heat pump in Oct 2023. Everything went smooth. Price was reasonable for the work. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job on time.     I interviewed 3 companies to install Mitsubishi mini-splits in my 130 year old house. Briggs was the least expensive and installation was scheduled quickly. I found the sales team and installers highly professional and personable. The installation was done with great care and with minimal disruption to me or my home.     My tenants woke up to a cold house this morning and Terry was able to get Briggs out here in about an hour.The technician (Justin) was very professional and well prepared. He tested various facets of the unit and determined that it was the furnace control board that needed to be replaced. He quickly made arrangements to secure and pick up the part and everything back to full operation at just past 1pm.I was extremely impressed with the efficiency and attention to detail.     New customer to Briggs. We replaced an old central air conditioning unit (30 Years+) and added a heat pump for the basement living area as well.     Briggs Mechanical was recommended to me by two different parties, which goes a long way when making a major hiring decision. The project was for mini-split ductless heating and A/C units. From the initial contact with Chris, the follow-up process and follow through was prompt and professional. Lois and Janine were great intermediaries - phone calls and emails were responded to promptly and appointments made, were kept. Feeling comfortable and confident about the people who are working in your home is a very important part of the experience, and Brigg’s provided that, as well. The two young men from Briggs Mechanical, Sean and Cam, were courteous and professional and careful in protecting and covering floors and walls from debris. They always left a clean work area, and to their credit, they did not complain about a few tight crawl spaces when installing wiring! The businesses’ owner, Mike, is also a hands-on part of the team, overseeing and signing off on the project. These days it’s unusual to have a well-run, smooth, uneventful, on-site home project, but Brigg’s Mechanical provided just that. They seem to have mastered the process; all areas of the business are well coordinated, communicating, and working in tandem. Such a relief, such a nice change, such professional service!     On a Friday evening, our central air started making noise and blowing hot. We called the office, as first time customers, they were professional and courteous and made the whole experience easy. They were able to schedule a repair technician to come out for Tuesday the following week. He arrived during the previously discussed window and he got to work right away. Not only was he able to fix the issue we originally called for but he found and repaired several other problems that we didnt expect.     I was recently in the market for a ductless AC unit for the great room above my garage. I discussed my needs with several vendors and reviewed multiple products, and received multiple quotes. After a fairly extensive evaluation I met with Chris from Briggs, who was very open, honest and knowledgeable in the products best suited to meet my needs. We discussed various options, features, benefits and pricing. The solution Chris put together for me combined the best product as well as the best price. After placing my order, the installation got scheduled several weeks out. The installation team did a thorough walk through prior to the installation date and were fully prepared for my installation. On the day of installation the team arrived on time, was very professional and very respectful of keeping my home clean.     We recently had Briggs install a 5 zone ductless system at our house and we couldnt be happier! We finally ditched the window a/c units! The installation was quick and the installers were very clean and courteous.     I received a handful of quotes to replace my aging Furnace and Central Air units. Not only was Briggs one of the more reasonably priced, but they were the only ones that spent the time to explain exactly what was going to happen and how the process works. If you want great customer service, (which is very important to me), look no further. Every Briggs employee I had the pleasure to talk with were all very polite and professional. In regards to the actual work they did, I couldnt be happier. The new system works amazing now. Working with Chris, who sold me the system, has been a pleasure and was always quick to answer my e-mails if I had any questions. Pat and his team of installers were very professional and their work certainly represents that. They cleaned up all work areas so everything was neat and tidy before they left. Another great perk is that if youre going through Mass Save, Chris will guide you through that entire process which is very convenient.     I located Briggs Mechanical using the Better Business Bureau website and when I visited their website noted they were a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor. Briggs Mechanical offered our family the most thorough proposal including installation, electrical set-up and financing options.We hired Briggs Mechanical to install a Mitsubishi Standard Heat Pump for our raised ranch home and we were very happy with their work. Their installation staff arrived at our home and proceeded to first lay protective covering from our front door to where they were to install the unit in our living room. The team took the time to speak with me at points during the installation to explain the work which they were completing. The Briggs Mechanical electrician arrived soon after the product installation to complete the full installation (and also was able to install an electrical outlet which was not working properly). Chris their salesman made his final visit and was able to demonstrate the use of the unit and how to understand the financing repayment.I am happy to recommend Briggs Mechanical for any type of ductless installation to your home.

    Briggs was one of a few companies quoting adding AC to my 1870s house. Most were in and out in 20 mins with an AC-only solution that involved duct work, plater repair and a mess to be cleaned up later. Chris spent almost an hour here (and a few more over email) going over what all of the options were between ducted and ductless, fancy heat pump replacing the oil burner and traditional AC keeping the oil system. Ultimately I decided to go ductless heat pump and had 8 Mitsubishi mini splits installed. After we signed, we did another walk through and went over the layout/routing of the exterior refrigerant lines. A few days later I was asked if we could do the walk through again due to a staffing change. Mike (owner) came out the next day and went over the entire house with me in detail of where things should go and be run, always asking if I was OK with it or had other thoughts. A week later Cory and his guy started and took about 4 days between hanging the heads, getting the power and refrigerant lines run on both side of the house and to the basement where the branch boxes are installed. The install was painless and clean. I also really like the fact Briggs has an electrician on staff who coordinated with the install crew, not a random subcontractor who is working on their own when they could make it out. About 2 weeks after the install Chris came back out to go over warranties and handle any outstanding questions we had. He put us in touch with the office who coordinated the MassSave forms and paperwork. Ive waited a few months to write this in case any issues came up that needed to be handled and there havent been any. I am 100% pleased we made the right choice; this has been one of the best contractor experiences Ive had since owning my home.

Briggs was one of the first calls we made when assessing the renovations that needed to be done at our new house.     Meet with sales rep Chris on installing two new heat pumps systems back in last April. Chris was very helpful and patient when recommending the what type of systems for my house and explaining all the details. I have contacted him multiple times and was always very polite and willing to answer any questions. The two technicians who installed our systems were Cameron and Brandon. They both great workers and were very polite and willing to answer any questions we had. Cameron was especially a pleasure and very helpful when he returned some minor details that had to be addressed. Pat the maintenance supervisor was also very patient whenever I spoke to him and he made sure we were satisfied with our new heat pumps.

    I installed the mini-split heating/cooling system the summer of 2019 installed and I couldnt be happier. The system is quiet and keeps the entire house very comfortable. Everyone at Briggs did a wonderful job. They were considerate and responsive and did a great job on the installation (I wouldnt even have known they were there). I got 3 estimates before deciding on Briggs and I know I made the right decision - they are professional and they did a great job. I highly recommend them and the Mitsubishi system!Unfortunately, after just 2 summers of using this system (only in the summer for cooling) realized that the pipes are leaking due to faulty materials. Apparently the insulation that wraps the pipes eats away at them causing leaks. The manufacturer warranties this for 1 year only so I am going to have to spend over $1000.00 in repairs in a 2 year old system. Very disappointed. While I dont believe this is the fault of Briggs my advice is make sure they are NOT using these materials if you opt for this system. Hopefully there will be a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer which I will happily join.

    This past summer our AC compressor was leaking in the basement. The company who had installed it years ago was no longer in business and we could not get anyone to come to fix it. When we called Briggs, the woman who answered immediately set up an appointment a few days later. The service technician fixed the leak but noted that our furnace/AC (two systems as we added an addition to the house after it was built) were quite old. We called Briggs and after meeting with Chris decided to replace both systems. From the women we dealt with on the phone in the office to Chris, the salesman, to Patrick who came for a pre-installation check to the installers we found everyone we dealt with at Briggs to be professional, polite, knowledgeable, and competent. The installation of both systems took four days and each day new drop cloths were used, the work area was cleaned up and we were informed about progress. All of our questions were answered fully by all employees and everyone showed up on time as scheduled. We cannot stress the cleanliness enough from the trucks to the work areas, we didn’t have to clean up after anyone. Even our neighbors noted the shiny clean trucks and said they would use Briggs when necessary. We recommend Briggs highly for their professionalism, competence, cleanliness, knowledge and patience with our questions.

    In May 2023 we had Briggs Mechanical install a Mitsubishi 4 zone 36K Btu Inverter Heat Pump combined with 2 ductless wall units and 2 ceiling cassettes. Originally, we talked with Chris Instasi about Central Air. We switched to the Heat Pump concept for its dual AC / Heat functions. Chris was very patient with extensive questions & changes. Our installers were Cameron and Shawn who worked for 3 days carefully considering the interior placements, line set routing and Heat Pump Installation. The electrician was also detailed and very efficient. The total install was very professional.Owner Mike Briggs was available in person and by email to help coordinate small details / questions. Mitsubishi to date, I believe is the only Mfg. that offers rectangular ceiling cassettes that fit between 16 1/2 on center ceiling joists. Its a very quiet system with a 12 year Mitsubishi warrantee.

    I was very pleased with the service I received from Briggs. They were timely in their scheduling and arrival at my home. Peter, the technician, knew the issue with our heating system immediately and was upfront about the fact that it was an easy fix but not necessarily a cheap one. He also took the time with me to talk about some potential future service work we may need for our HVAC system without me feeling pushed into it.     Last summer my AC was failing so I called Briggs Mechanical for a quote for an all new ducted system to be installed in my basement. I received a reasonable quote for the service and scheduled the installation. Although I had to bear it out with my failing AC last summer, Briggs came through and installed an all new system (in basement), removed my old system from attic, and cut a hole in my concrete wall from my basement to my crawl space to run new ductwork their as well as in the existing basement area in the fall. The personnel at Briggs were great to work with and very knowledgeable about their products. Thanks for all the great work Briggs!!! Even though their was a slight delay due to supply lines for equipment, my AC was up and running at the beginning of this summer and providing us with a quiet, cool and enjoyable breath of fresh cool air in our house.     I replaced two gas furnaces with Amana , AC and two heat pumps with Bosch. I compared to four competitive bids and Briggs’s pricing was competitive and level of service over the past year has been great. We did have an issue on installation with oil that accidentally leaked out on the basement floor and a few dings in our basement steps from bringing the equipment in or out. Mike Briggs personally came out to the house to inspect those areas and got them repaired. I appreciated how he stood behind the quality of workmanship and followed up to ensure we were happy with it. It also took RI Energy a very long time to process our rebates but Chris and Mike followed up diligently with them to help us with that process. Overall we have been happy and would recommend them.

They just completed a ductless Heating & A/C installation at our home for all rooms using Mitsubishi products.Chris came out to do the walkdown and was very professional and more to the point (unlike others who bid) he listened to what we wanted and provided a quote based on the information gained from the visit.The install team lead by Cory installed 4 tons of A/C & heating capability without any unforeseen problems. They clean up all the mess at the end of each day. Use a combination of drop cloths and booties to keep the house spotless.The system is tied to our oil furnace to assure we gain the most efficiency in the winter with temperatures above 35F.Mike Briggs was out to the house a number of times to assure that we were all aligned prior to and during installation.Totally issue free. Chris is applying for our rebate and helped us with the 7 year interest free Energy Loan.UPDATE: It’s summer and the house is wonderfully cool without all the noise from window A/C and no more obstructions from outdated A/C units.Heating with the Mitsubishi units was much more uniform than our oil heat. Briggs worked with us to get the Kumo Cloud set up for us. We saved $1000 on heating this winter.

    We recently had Briggs install the Mitsubishi ductless air conditioning condenser and wall units in two of our upstairs bedrooms as centralized ducting was not an option on the second floor.     Wanted to wait out the summer months before actually writing a review. We signed our contract with Briggs back in Dec. 2020 and was informed that they would be out around April to do the install. That sounded reasonable living in the northeast and not knowing what spring brings. Come April, the team showed up right on time and was very pleasant to work with.     We had a four-unit ductless system installed last year. We conducted in-person meetings with four different shops before deciding on Briggs. They were incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with from beginning to end. They also provided what we thought was the best value for the price. Our primary contact through the sales process was Chris, and then Patrick oversaw the installation -- would work with either or both of them again in a heartbeat. They were very attentive to not only the most efficient way to wire the units but also the aesthetic effects on the house. They couldve told us we had to add more electrical but instead were candid about the fact that we would be fine squeezing it into our existing panel - saved us money and time.     I recently had a heat pump installed by Briggs Mechanical. All of the staff are great at communicating and were very informative at all levels from scheduling to final walk through.The real selling point for me was that Chris helped me assure that I would receive a rebate through Mass Save by confirming an exception through them. There was a question because there was no history of heating, which is required for Mass Save, since I purchased my home in May. None of the other estimators had offered any help regarding the question.The installers of the heat pump, I believe were named Cam and Shawn, were very professional. Minutes after the install was complete and they left, I had a small issue with the heat pump that I called the office about and they immediately turned around and checked it out. Turns out my issue was just a little water left over from testing the pipes for drainage and nothing wrong with the install. It was an overall great experience.I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for heating and air. I checked out 5 companies in total for the same job since they were so different in their estimates and work styles. Briggs was more reasonably priced than most of them and definitely exceeded expectations for communication to the customer which is very important to me.

    I had Briggs Mechanical do an install at my house with the Mitsubishi Ductless Splits. We chose to go with the ductless splits because our oil furnace was about 30 years old and inefficient with forced hot air. Briggs was the most reasonable out of about 5 other companies I researched for price quotes. They explained that these units to both AC and Heat. This is great because you can basically run the system from an app off your phone or off the remote and if you wanted to you could run separate zones or all zones. They system is tied to the furnace as a last effort if the temp does get in the negative teens. This system has great ratings as well as being energy efficient. We also got an excellent rebate through Mass Save. The staff at Briggs were professional, friendly, got the job done within the time frame they gave. They did a pre and post inspection to make sure all expectations were met by the customer and answered any questions. Also this system is quiet not only inside but outside as well. I was very impressed with the job they did and the employees that did the install. I would recommend anyone who is considering getting a heating or cooling system to speak with Briggs Mechanical to go over the options they offer!

    This is my second install with Briggs Mechanical. I had 5 Mitsubishi ceiling cassettes installed in my second floor. Worked with Chris over the winter to scope out the project. Due to some COVID related supply chain problems it took about 4 months after signing the paperwork and handing over the deposit for the install to take place. Another 2 months for some non essential sensors to arrive. In the meantime Pat came by to review the plan and the installers Cody, Sean and Brody did an awesome job and left the house clean after each day of work.     My furnace was in need of maintenance and I wasnt sure what to do. I googled companies in my area that could service my furnace which is only 2 years old. I called a few companies but none of them seemed to care and couldnt come out. I finally decided to give Briggs mechanical a call. They answered the phone and immediately scheduled someone to come out and service my furnace the same day! The technician who came out was Roy Galloway. He was prompt and very friendly. He came in to have a look at my furnace and immediately got his gear and went to work on servicing my furnace. I never had my new furnace cleaned and serviced before and it showed by the amount of soot that was present. Roy was extremely knowledgeable and giving me a good education on furnace maintenance while working extremely hard to get my furnace in top shape. Roy took my furnace apart and throughly cleaned and inspected every bit of while explaining what he was doing so that I could understand. After he serviced my furnace he made sure it was running and in tip top shape. Im extremely happy with the service and professionalism from Roy and he is definitely a class act. They definitely dont make them like Roy anymore. If you need your furnace serviced or repaired Id HIGHLY recommend using Briggs mechanical and definitely ask for Roy Galloway!     During our annual spring maintenance appointment Peter uncovered a crack in our furnace heat exchanger. He immediately shut it down to keep us safe but that left us with no heat. Luckily it wasnt the dead of winter so we were able to get by with a few space heaters while we dealt with the situation. We immediately reached out to Mass Save & decided that since our Hot Water Heater was also 13 yrs old, now would be the time to look at converting to a Tankless System.Since we had no heat, Chris made a special trip to our house to complete the assessment and go over everything.     We had the installation completed of the Mitsubishi Multi-Zone Heat Pump with two Wall Units. This will complete air and heat into 2 bed rooms and pretty much half of my second floor. We already have the Mitsubishi Air Con unit for our first floor and have loved it for several years. I found the pre and post installation meetings informative, no-pressure, and providing many options to consider. Chriss knowledge of how the systems work in houses was impressive and excellent for what we needed. The installation team from project manager to the installers was top notch. All were professional, considerate of our privacy, and by all means, clean throughout the house. The electrician was also very good in keeping the wiring orderly. Even the office people are delightful to work with. Very reactive to my calls. Overall, the two systems in the house by all means do their jobs and we are very satisfied.     I believe that I am very fortunate that I chose Brings Mechanical to install a Central Air Conditioning system in my home this past October.     We had our heating and air conditioning system replaced in December and were extremely pleased with the work done by Briggs Mechanical. We were able to schedule an appointment within a week and Chris was extremely knowledgeable and helpful explaining the cost and what would be involved. He was able to print a quote on the spot and help us navigate the Mass Save early replacement rebate program. Patrick came out to do a pre-installation survey and the installation took place a week later. The installation crew was friendly, efficient and clean. The Town Inspector just came out and said everything looked great. Every time Ive called the office Ive gotten a quick response.     We had Briggs Mechanical at our house to service an older unit. Im terrible with names and I dont remember our technicians name but he was punctual, polite, and thorough. There was some miscommunication from the office and the technician about what he was there for but he was able to get it squared away, explaining to me what happend and apologizing for the mix up. I was given an estimated arrival time of between 10a-12p. At 10:30 I got a call from the office just to let me know the tech would arrive in about an hour and he was right on time! He was honest about the repairs and cost. Ours is an older unit and he was able to present all of our options and the price for each option. He made sure that all of my questions were answered and that I understood the work and pricing involved in each option. Ultimately, we are going to replace our entire unit and will have Briggs Mechanical back to quote us and do the work.

The installers were on time, and very professional as well as pleasant. They were considerate of us - we were working from home that day.     Had a fantastic experience using Briggs Mechanical. I had them to come out and qoute a new hot air furnace and central air system. Chris came out and spent nearly 2 hours with me looking over my current equipment and finding ways to increase airflow and properly size the new equipment. He was very throurough and answered all of my questions. The installers came less than 2 weeks later and did a great job. They were kind, courteous and respectful of my property... the job took 2 days and after each day they cleaned up everything. After the install was complete they took the time to answer any questions I had. These guys take pride in their work and it shows. I had a few qoutes and Briggs was not the cheapest, but I felt I was getting my moneys worth. I highly recommend giving these guys a call if you need new equipment

    My entire family gives Briggs Mechanical our highest recommendation. They have installed A/C and heat systems in my home, my sons condo, and my daughter and son-in-laws home. Just yesterday Chris Instasi met with my parents at their home in Attleboro to discuss replacing their 29 year old furnace and 26 yr old central air unit. They signed the proposal today. In 2015 my 29 yr old Valliant boiler died the day after the blizzard. I called Briggs and they came out immediately. I had never done business with them before but they treated me like I was a VIP. It was a huge job to replace my old unit in the dead of winter (high efficiency, forced hot water, 7 zones) but they did it quickly, professionally, and with the extremely high quality workmanship. The communication between the sales guy (Chris), the job supervisor, the installers, and the company owner was surprisingly efficient. Since then we have been on an annual maintenance contract for the A/C and boiler units which is worth every penny. Any time I have a concern they call me back immediately and offer to come out even late that night if I need them. Not only do they maintain and service my home and my kids homes, they also have been hired by my in-laws and starting today by my parents. Due to my history and experience with them over the past 4 years, my parents didnt even get any other quotes. The quote for their new A/C and furnace units is definitely market competitive. Most importantly you cant put a price on exceptional service and trustworthy employees. Over the past 5 years my family members have come to know Briggs technicians like Peter and Roy, and we all feel very comfortable having them in our homes.

    I had a forced air split system installed 2 years ago and i went back to them this week when another company would not fix my hvac system….I appreciate what they did, they did find the cracked heat exchange when the other company asked for 10,000 for a whole new furnace. Thanks again…. Next that follows is what they did for me on a previous house 2 years ago. Not only did they make it comfortable and painless, they got it all done in a week. The entire house was without duct work and they made it happen. They wore masks making us feel safe. They fixed my bathroom vent no charge. This was appreciated. This experience started amazingly . We got a no interest loan from MassSaves and because of Briggs recommendation. We already had a home equity line of credit previously secured when Briggs Hvac employees informed me to apply for a no interest loan with masssaves. It took less than 2 weeks but they helped everything get going. They gave me an estimate and guidance with the application. We will even be getting a rebate. It was amazing to get a no interest loan all because Briggs knew the system and the way to get the best deal. I would definitely work with them again.

I received quotes from a number of different firms and they were all significantly higher and some were even less powerful units.
