    SMS painting helped me accomplish a major step in rebranding our building and I couldnt be happier.Their woodworker repaired our dormers and then painted the brick and window trim.     Amazing job!!! We got two different quotes to stain our back deck and SMS Painting was the cheapest, but they did TOP NOTCH work. They helped us pick out the best color that was HOA compliant, pressure washed, stained the deck and got every detail right! No spillage and every inch is stained perfectly. Highly recommend.     Over the years, I have worked with multiple painting compainies and never repeated business with any of them until I found SMS Painting.I am a repeat customer of SMS Painting since 2019 because the work is flawless, everyone is very professional and courteous, and how the company handles issues.The first time SMS Painting came to paint my house. After the job was completed and I already paid, I noticed a small rotted area on one side of a window that the employees missed. I contacted Serge wanted to know what can be done about it. Serge came back to replace the rotted area. He also replaced the opposite side so that both sides of the window would match. This action shocked me to my core because I didnt expect for Serge to come back. Not only Serge did what should had been done, he also went above and beyond for the anesthetics of my window. This was done after I had already paid!At that moment I knew thatI will never have to search for another painting company. Since that time, SMS Painting has come back to paint my house, replace the siding, and etc.Words cannot describe my trust in SMS Painting. I have referred the company to my neighbor who is a property manager and has had more experience with different painting companies than I do. The neighbor told me SMS Painting is the best they have ever come across.I highly recommend this company for its quality work as well as ethics.BTW, the price is very reasonable.

    We needed the sunroom painted, the kitchen and eat-in kitchen ceilings repainted, and all of the trim and ceiling repainted in the downstairs bathroom. Serge and SMS Painting were recommended by several homeowners and neighbors in our community. They had been at our next door neighbors house only a month or two before Serge came and took pictures of the work we wanted done, quickly provided a very reasonable estimate, and they were able to schedule the work quickly. The work was excellent and thorough. We highly recommend them.

    Pros:I worked with SMS to get a deck stained (clear) that I had installed over a year before. The pressure washing and bleaching they applied to my stains I had already gotten was top notch and very professionally done. I like to think of myself as good at attention to detail, but they surpassed what I initially had considered. They were very flexible as well when they had a scheduling breakdown that delayed my project even longer.The final product looks beautiful and Im very happy. Pricing was more than reasonable to the point that I was regularly offering water or food because I appreciated the work being done so much.(Mild) Cons:From initial engagement until initial work (pressure washing) it took months. Much of that was due to weather which is excusable, but there were a few segments of days that would have fit well that were passed up. It took me calling after two of those good opportunities to get pressure washing done in preparation. I was very clear that in another month I had guests coming to stay with me and either wanted the deck done by then or be prepared to pressure wash again. They agreed and were there the next day after my guests left, pressure washed, and started staining two days later & complete within two days.Overall:I would recommend them, just stay on top of them if it seems your project got lost in their backlog. The work is beautiful and Im incredibly happy with the final result, on-site interactions, and communication I could get (even if I had to initiate it sometimes). 8.5/10.

    Where’s the ten stars? We Love Team SMS. Serge, Gasper and Team are true professionals. We’ve used them for years now. They’ve painted the interior of our home and kitchen cabinets. More currently, they repaired drywall damage in the garage, re-painted the ceiling, repaired a closet hole and repainted it, painted inside and outside of a newer window we had replaced.Always on time and communicating along the way.     I am delighted with the work performed by SMS Painting. Serge is personable, knowledgeable, attentive and communicative. He helped with my color selections for the house exterior and the result exceeded my expectations. A significant amount of repair was needed prior to painting, but he did not recommend more than was needed and I felt no pressure. His crew is skilled, professional, neat and courteous. They did a great job on the repairs and painting, then cleaned everything up when they were done. Serge checked in frequently to make sure instructions were followed and to answer my questions as the work proceeded. All of this at a fair price.     Professional, Economical, and Expeditious ServiceMy home was in need of an exterior paint job and Serge, the field manager, was able to accommodate me less than two weeks after my first call. Before the job, Serge stopped by my property to do an evaluation for my price quote which was a bit less than a quote I had received from another local painter who by the way, failed to follow-up with me about the job. Consider it a wonderful disappointment because it lead me to SMS Painting. Serge later met with me in person to match the color I was requesting which was the original color of the house. He was very transparent in stating up front that the swatches he had available may or may not be an exact match. Luckily, his samples were so wide-ranging that we were able to match the original color perfectly.The next morning, the painters arrived a little earlier than expected and this was fine with me. They got to work immediately and about 2 hours later, the job was complete—ahead of schedule. They walked the premise with me to be certain of my satisfaction and I absolutely was. They were very attentive and cleaned up well after themselves leaving behind only a small can of the paint for my future reference. SMS Painting definitely has my 5-star approval in providing excellent customer service from beginning to end. I plan on using them again in the near future for interior paint service and fence staining.

    I never thought I would have the opportunity to feel totally satisfied and happy with a painter. To say that my past experiences with painters has been a disappointment is an understatement. This was before I met Serge from SMS painting who was refereed to me by a friend. Prior to contacting Serge, I had contracted someone else to paint my freshly dry walled basement walls and ceilings. This painter did a horrible job which resulted in many visible flaws and imperfections. Serge came to the rescue and had to start over from scratch. I must admit I was skeptical because of my previous encounters with painters but Serge delivered with outstanding customer service and a job that makes my basement stand out. He was very attentive to my demands and concerns and came out here on several occasions to make sure that I was 100% happy and satisfied with the job. It is so refreshing in this time and age to find someone who is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is treated with first class and outstanding service.     Had a really great experience with SMS painting. Apparently, they are a local, family owned business, and it showed in a good way. They promptly responded to my request for an estimate to paint my homes exterior, and gave me a price that was significantly lower then the number I had expected after doing some research online. Not only did they do an excellent job painting my house, they also repaired and replaced some damaged siding around my chimney, and applied caulking to seams around the exterior of the house. They cleaned up their mess after they had finished up, and not only did the painters ask me to do a walk around to ensure all was well, I was followed up with the next day from the office to ensure we were still happy with the job.Ive had some really negative experience with contractors in the past, so working with SMS painting was a pleasant surprise.     SMS has competed two projects for me. Serge and his crew painted pretty much my entire home inside and did a fantastic job. They are very considerate and clean when painting. The latest project was the outside of the house. They prepped, found rotten boards, replaced them and painted very efficiently.     Happy Customer Money Well Spent: Alpharetta / Milton customer Exterior and Interior: My neighbor had exterior work completed by Serge and team SMS and the work was completed on time, the house looked brand new and still does after 6 months; the job site was managed politely, cleanly, and professionally. I received quotes and worked 20 years ago in exterior and interior painting. Serge and SMS pricing is very competitive and lower than most. SMS has top 5 star reviews but I did not research them --only hired based on the work next door and the quote I received promptly next day. Serge was excellent is proactive communication, flexibility of scheduling helpful to my family and work schedule. Our exterior work looks amazing -- the site was cleaned up immaculately.Serges suggestions on a few items were very helpful --saving me time, money, and boosting curb appeal. The work to replace some rotted wood on high roof line was completed properly and for less $ than expected.     Serge and crew did a complicated job of wall paper removal from untreated sheetrock and then repaired and repainted the room. They were professional, hardworking and very careful in their preparations. Serge was patient in helping us pick out paint colors. We are very satisfied with the finished product.     Serge was wonderful to meet with, so knowledge and reassuring about their process and all the repairs they would be able to make to our cedar siding home that was past due for exterior stain. I knew I was going to choose him regardless of the estimate - I was so pleased to see his was the lowest estimate we received!The team that showed up to power wash, repair, and transform our home of 21 years was efficient, tidy, and so easy to work with.     My wife and I are “blessed believers” today as we admire the great work SMS Painting provided to our home this past week.Firstly, they had some very difficult work to do with our chimney. Through old age and woodpeckers, there were several pieces of wood and siding that need replacing and painting. I will attach a photo to show you our chimney but as you can see, it is pretty high and the ground is not level. I was concerned….but the workers reassured me that they got this. And they did. We still felt compelled to offer up our prayers for their safety…thank you, Lord.Secondly, because we asked them to seal/stain our deck, they first had to pressure wash it. They did a fabulous job doing that as well….and not everyone you inquire about wants to pressure wash a deck. But SMS did it and did it well indeed.Lastly, the seal/stain of our deck completed the work we required. Again, hopefully the photos speak a thousand words. All three of the workers were on top of this as well-mission accomplished. Happy customers.Final thoughts: this was all made possible by our initial meeting with Field Manager, Serge. When we met with him to go over what we wanted done, what this will cost us, and when it could be done, Serge’s warm personality and professional manner really impressed us. He made us want to give money to his company, and make us feel good in doing such. Guess what? We did and we do. Speaking about money, my wife always gets estimates from several sources…trust me, SMS is very competitive and won’t gauge you like some companies try to. They were recommended by several families on our community Facebook website, and now we are recommending them on our website as well.     The SMS team painted the exterior of our house in April 2020 and we are delighted with the results! They are professional, punctual and do quality work with a very competitive price. From my initial contact with Serge for an estimate, until the entire job was completed, I was kept informed of the timeline and when the work would be done. The house required some repairs to replace rotten wood due to water damage, and the carpentry and prep work was well done using high quality materials and paint.     The owner is very professional. Throughout the service he communicated effectively and timely. This was very important to me because I had work with other contractors that were not as efficient. His staff came in very polite and respectful of my house make sure that everything was done professionally. They worked diligently throughout the time that they were there only stopping to take their assigned lunch break. They were no issues, no breakage and they cleaned up when they finished!There was one problem with my refrigerator was moved because it’s a leak for some reason in my hardwood floor was damaged. I am mediately called Serge and he immediately sent someone out to replace the floor and was willing to replace the refrigerator if it had been the problem if the refrigerators was damaged when moved.I was very pleasantly surprised that there was no arguing back-and-forth and he immediately, expeditiously resolved the problem.I recommended him to several people as they have come into my home and asked about my painting job. I have other projects and he will definitely be my go to from here on out. Thank you so much it was a pleasure doing business with you and I look forward to our next project!

We got several quotes and not only did the owner come out to give the quote he said a lot of the wood damage others had said we needed replaced, he could just repair. He was very fair and honest!
