We are very happy with the work done by Thomas Edison Electric. Electrician Michael Hilbert with help from Ian updated an outlet for a new garbage disposal and replaced 16 wall outlets with tamper resistant outlets. Michael is very courteous, respectful, and friendly, and informative. He vacuumed all dust from the outlet installations. Will request Michael again for any future work needed. Highly recommend Thomas Edison Electric. We are a returning customer, and have always been happy with the company and the electricians they send.

Wow what an amazing company !! From pricing to the customer experience they definitely deserve this 5 star. We had been having issues with some circuits and we were able to get squeezed in less than 24 hours after reaching out . Michael was our Technician and he was so kind courteous and respectful. Him , my husband and I all conversed as if we already knew each other . That’s how comfortable his aura was . He came in and got straight to work on getting things fixed for us making sure we understood what was going on before and after the services . The company’s pricing was completely fair for the work done . I will definitely be storing their contact incase anything comes up in the future . I definitely recommend them .

We were in need of an emergency service call late on a Saturday (just before a holiday) at a commercial location. We had a machine that suddenly malfunctioned, and we needed a full diagnosis of the electrical components and wiring before deciding to order a new motor for a commercial machinery, and we needed this done quickly. Thomas Edison was able to accommodate us and sent a technician within a few hours.The tech who arrived was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and respectful of our property and situation. He came prepared and tested every electrical component. He fully understood what the business owner knew and didnt repeat any of the tasks and tests that were not necessary and went right to the source of the issue. He clearly explained everything he did and did an exemplary job of breaking down how he came to his diagnosis.Overall, it was one of the best commercial service call experience Ive ever had. The service tech really knew his trade and I never, at any point, felt like I was being duped as is often the case when dealing with emergency commercial service calls.He cleaned up the area as best as he could and prepared the wiring nicely to make it easier for us to replace the motor. This situation could have been a lot worst, but we were able to get the machine back up and running with minimal down time and Thomas Edison played a huge part in this.

Thomas Edison Service tech Hector arrived at the earliest time estimated, while wearing a face mask through the entire visit, which I appreciated. - He assessed that I did indeed loosen the electrical connections while attempting to clean the ceiling light / fan earlier, but thankfully nothing more severe than that. He even helped me clean the pieces of the lighting fixture while it was disassembled to fix it (much appreciated!).All connections were tightened and secured, and checked for any faults. I once again have light in my restroom and its also clean!Hector was very professional and courteous, as was the entire staff whom I spoke with at Thomas Edison Service. They followed up with me shortly after the service to make sure I was satisfied. - Im very happy with my service and would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and will use them again if need be.

4/16/20 During a storm, I had an emergency situation. Trying to find an electrician quickly on Tuesday I called Thomas Edison Electric by luck. I had an electrician at my door within hours. I needed a full replacement of the service from home to Street. No that was not baloney, it really had to be done. Not only did the rep come to my home, estimate me but helped me when I had to call my insurance agent he helped me talk to them and explain what happened. This is Thursday they came at the time they said and worked efficiently. I have to say a issue that had me on edge, I felt very comfortable and assured with Ken and Brian here doing the work. They are awesome. Can I tell you if the rate is reasonable. No. I know that while we are waiting the final inspection. I feel like the work is quality. I really loved the guys that were here today. And thank you. Because Im breathing a sigh of relief if we get rain again.

I received excellent service from Thomas Edison Electric. I called mid-morning, and they offered to send a service person to my home that afternoon. I opted for a service visit the following morning. The person who took my reservation was polite. He explained the service charge process in detail. The electrician who came to my home, Randall, was also pleasant and polite. He explained the charges for each element of the bill, and there were no surprises. A master electrician, he clearly knew what he was doing. It didnt take long for him to make the necessary repairs. He gladly answered all my questions. I was very satisfied with the service. This is a highly professional operation, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Communication is excellent with this company and the dispatcher (Scott) was able to find me an electrician who came quickly to my rescue. The technician, Randall, finished not only one, but two jobs for me on different days. If you want top-notch professional service, these are the guys. I highly recommend them.

I inquired on a Saturday about an issue in a home I recently bought. Was blown away at how quick a technician would come out and be available to perform the work. The day of the appointment the technician walked me through everything. Explained every detail of the process, cost, and created minimal mess to my home. The technician worked hard and non stop for the entire day he was there.At the end of the appointment, the technician recapped everything he did to correct the issue I had.Will be using them again after my first encounter. Hard work and honesty go along way!

I called Thomas Edison Electric and Abby over the phone was super professional and very friendly. Within an hour or so, they were able to send Jim to my house to look over what I needed done and very quickly he was able to write up an estimate and explain each process step by step so I could understand what needed to be done. Very soon after, he was done his work and it looked very clean. His work is phenomenal. I will be sure to use Thomas Edison again for any future needs.

Ken responded promptly and replaced a non-functioning GFCI outlet in a matter of minutes. He also was able to perform a visual inspection of wiring in our garage to ensure it was installed safely. What impressed me most about my experience occurred a few weeks after the work was done. We needed some additional paperwork in order to complete the sale of our home that we did not initially ask for, so I called Steve in the hopes that they might be able to help. Both Steve and Ken were able to quickly provide the exact documents I needed at no additional cost. I would highly recommend this company, thank you Steve and Ken!

Half of my house went dark and I could not figure out why. After checking the circuit breakers, I decided to call in an expert. I picked Thomas Edison because of the reviews I read on Google. They were very nice on the phone and explained their process. They sent an electrician out the next morning. He showed up right on time and was ready to work. He explained their pricing and gave me a quote, which was what I expected. I agreed to the terms and gave him my credit card information and he started working. He had my electric back on and working within the hour and I paid exactly what he quoted. I would recommend TE to my friends and neighbors!

Really fast response time. I called to make an appointment and someone was sent the same day. The only thing is that it costs $95 just to come look at the work to be done and if you’re not satisfied with the quote you lose that money. It is a pretty big risk but we were in a bind so we had to trust we were given a fair price. Work done was great so we were satisfied. Good customer service. Very friendly.

Per a home inspection report, my home needed to have a ground rod installed. I contacted Thomas Edison to get an estimate of the cost. Prior to then I had no idea what a ground rod was, but electrician electrician James Clevenstine arrived, explained in laymans terms everything I needed to know about a ground rod. He then inspected the area in and around my electrical box, as well outside to determine where best to install it. After locating the area of installation, he provided a reasonable estimate. When I was ready to have the work done. I contacted Thomas Edison again. Prior to the electrician arriving, I received a call from Steve, I believe, that the electrician was on the way, and another call from him to inform me when the electrician was at my door. That was a great touch, I appreciated it. The electrician, Ken Stride was very pleasant, personable, and confident about the task. He got right to work, finished within a reasonable time frame, and did an excellent job. He pointed out the areas of the installation, I am very impressed with the job. Overall Ken demonstrated that he is a master electrician. I recommend Thomas Edison to do your next electrical job!!!I had the pleasure of using Thomas Edison again today. They came out hours after calling, replaced my track lighting with an even better one at a reasonable cost. James was pleasant, and professional. Thomas Edison is the best!

We had an issue with lights flickering and as a business, we needed same day service to resolve the issue. After calling a few other electrical contracting firms in the area that could not commit to getting someone out same day, we called Thomas Edison Electric. They had a electrician onsite within an hour. Scott was great. He was neat, cleaned up after himself and walked us through the process of what needed to be done. They were able to fix the issue the same day and were professional throughout the entire process.

The staff at Thomas Edison Electric demonstrated to be humanistic and caring when prioritizing my needs and the needs of my family. Steve was very attentive and understanding and validated my need to rectify an electric issue in the middle of the night that would have left my children and I subjected to the freezing cold temperatures due to no heat. Steve communicated with me continuously leading up to my scheduled time of service and even followed up with me to ensure that the service met my standards afterwards. The Electrician assigned to complete the job, Ed, was punctual, descriptive and honest in describing the work that needed to be done. He was also transparent when communicating the costs associated with a worse case scenario, which I really appreciated. Ed was professionally dressed, well mannered, knowledgeable and expeditious in troubleshooting my issue and getting the heat in the rooms of my children up and running. Steve and Ed certainly saved the day and I am very grateful for them.

Great service. We called Friday, they came Saturday and arrived at the agreed time. The technician was well groomed, polite, and took appropriate precautions. We had him replace a combo fan/light in our main bathroom and he did a great job and even cleaned everything up, even taking the empty box with his trash. He reviewed pricing before hand and although we thought a little high(of course this fan was from 1982 so thought how long ago we last had work done) we feel confident it was money well spent to know the job is done right. YOU NEVER REALLY WANT AN EMERGENCY ELECTRICIAN, BUT WHEN YOU DO, CALL THOMAS EDISON ELECTRIC...We were in need of an emergency electrician the Thursday afternoon prior to Easter. A rain/windstorm topped a tree that pulled the electrical wires from our home. I started calling local electricians, but just got answering machines...until I called Thomas Edison. I was told that they could accommodate the job--that afternoon!Shortly after my initial conversation, I received a call from Steve, the dispatcher, and he assured me that one of their electricians, Kenny, would be arriving by approximately 5:30. Steve called again at 5:15 to let us know that Kenny was on his way. By 5:30, Kenny arrived, assessed the job, provided a written estimate and began work by 6:00 p.m.The job was completed and electric restored by 7:00 p.m. Kenny was friendly, courteous, professional, thorough, and explained what the job entailed.Overall, our experience with Thomas Edison Electric was 5 STARS. I highly recommend their services….they offered distinguished Customer Service! Thank you Steve, Kenny, and Thomas Edison Electric!

Our power was knocked out because a tree came down on the wires, which then pulled the electrical meter from the side of the house. I called up Thomas Edison and within a few hours a tech was sent out to our home. Originally we had a problem with the bill but after calling and speaking with Scott I was assured that everything would be taken care of. And I must say my husband and I were pleased in the end. We needed to get an additional power socket so we could store more food during the quarantine with a new freezer. I was able to get a same-day appointment, and Dimitri showed up even earlier than the originally quoted timeframe. He was careful with both our home and us, wearing a mask the entire time he was here (I dont even know what he looks like), did everything we needed right away, and even showed us his tests to determine everything was working perfectly. It was everything we needed much sooner than we ever dreamed wed get it.
