    I called Thomas Edison, and a appointment was arranged for Friday to have my outside floodlight to be replaced. I received a call Thursday morning and agreed to have Jasin the Serviceman come a day early who. He arrived on the time agreed to. He was very professional and polite, and the work was completed. The light installed was of good quality. I am totally satisfied with the service and would use Thomas Edison again if needed.

    We needed service on a Sunday and Collin was able to come out and solve the problem. While he was here, he informed us our entire breaker needed to be replaced in the near future - he was informative and described the problem and solution in detail. We were able to get scheduled soon after and he returned to make our electric safe! The company called once Collin arrived and called after the service to ensure the service was complete and we were satisfied. The communication from everyone was great and scheduling was really easy. I will definitely use Thomas Edison for any electric needs that arise in the future.

    Josh was a fantastic electrician. Thomas Edison was responsive, sent me helpful reminders about the appointment, were detailed in how the estimation & assessment process works, and always checking with me if the work was to my satisfaction.Josh was able to repair and update everything I needed done. He even moved some of my household furniture back in place that I had moved so he could work on outlets. No complaints - thank you!

    Called this company because I lost all electricity into my stove/oven. I was informed by another contractor that it had an electrical issue. I called this company and Jacob Hamilton showed up. Appeared to be extremely knowledgeable and explained in detail everything he was going to do. He told me the prices up front of all possibilities prior to him starting. We okayed it and he found the problem quickly. He got my stove working again. Definitely will recommend this company especially Jacob Hamilton

    I called and over 2 different days had electricians Mike, Vic and Hector out. On day 1 they replaced and upgraded my electrical panel, replaced a bathroom ceiling fan and replaced the hard wired fire detectors. I had them come back and instal a rated outside outlet which will allow us easier access to outside electricity.

    Working with Thomas Edison Electric was a very positive experience. The lady I had spoke with kept in touch even with my hectic work schedule. Our technician (Cameron) was amazing. When he came in there was 4 kids awake 2 dogs (1 not so friendly) and 1 cat. He handled it all like a true professional.

    Prompt and professional service from Thomas Edison Electric! Called them about installation of a nema 14-50 receptacle for our ev charger. Jason came out the next day and I could not have been more pleased with his service. He was very detail oriented in explaining his quotation and the scope of the work that would be required. He was also completely transparent throughout the process. Watching him work I could tell that he took pride in his job and wanted to satisfy me as the customer. Customer service was also excellent as I had a question that Jasons supervisor was able to address to my satisfaction. During the entire process, there was a lot of communication. The final installation was very clean and professional. For any further electrical needs in the future, I plan to call them first.

    Not the cheapest, but the best. I trusted the guy being in my home which says another. He cleaned up after himself every day. I already told him Ill call again if I need anything. I never had to question when he was going to show up- the office called me every day with an updated time of arrival. Which is crucial when youre working from home and have a baby. FIVE STARS FOR SURE.

    I called Thomas Edison on 3/8 after an electrical situation involving some light fixtures with water damage. For my handyman, it was a shocking experience. Dont worry, hes ok. Thomas Edison answered my early morning call and were able to set up a next day appointment for me. The people I spoke to on the phone were very nice and stayed in touch when there was a possibility of moving my appointment up and then later let me know when it was not possible so I wasnt just sitting around waiting.On the day of my appointment, Frank showed up on time and had a wonderful personality that made me feel completely at ease. He checked what was needed and ran to get the parts and came right back and was done within a short period of time. This company has a winning team and are communicative and have excellent customer service. Id use them again and again! And my handyman can now relax. 😁👏🏾❤

    Thomas Edison Electric was great to work with. They had availability for us right away. Mike (our electrician) showed up on time, reviewed my issues with me and did a walk around to all areas. He explained everything in thorough detail and had the price ready for me in no time. He completed the work and did a fantastic job.     The scope of our work included reinstalling our service box onto our house after a siding crew left it hanging off the house. After reaching out to Thomas Edison Electric their team immediately communicated they would have a tech out to examine the situation, provide an estimate and if possible begin work ASAP. They were onsite the evening of my first contact and provided a fair estimate. The next morning their Electrician James came out, communicated the days plan and got to work. He took great care to ensure our safety and made sure all connections and installation details were covered. Superb work.     From scheduling to installation, everything was smoothly coordinated! It was extremely beneficial for same day installation as well with my busy schedule. My tech, Andrew even went above and beyond to help take out an old cabinet to install an outlet for an over the range microwave- all while singing to my sporadically changing genres on shuffle.12/10 highly recommend!

    I highly recommend Thomas Edison Electric for your electrical needs. I had a few older 2 prong outlets that needed to be replaced. I called them on Memorial Day and they came out the next day to give me a quote that I thought was very reasonable. He came on time and even earlier than expected. They were great in calling me and giving updates for when he will arrive. In only 2 hours, Piero completed the job. He was so friendly and answered every question I had. It was like having a friend in the house because of how personable he was. He even gave me quotes for other jobs I am considering. He quickly found out that we had lost power to due to a loose neutral wire on an outlet that we didnt even know was wired to the room. Jason also explained how and why this had happened.     The electrician arrived at the scheduled time, spoke with me about the work requested and did a quick look over the areas to be worked on. He provided a cost and time estimate on the work to be completed. The electrician left briefly to purchase the correct fixtures for my home and installed a light fixture in the kitchen as well as fixed/correctly installed an outlet and two light switches in the bathroom that have not worked in years. He exceeded the time estimate because the wiring in the home (it’s very old) was not what was expected, but did not charge extra for the overage. He also made some recommendations and price estimates for future upgrades (a newer fuse box, outdoor wiring, etc…). Overall, the work was completed as requested and everything now looks and works as it should.

He found mistakes from previous homeowner/electrical work. He was willing to do anything to help.     Due to a severe wind storm, a tree took down our electric wires and utility pole on our property. Thomas Edison was very responsive. They had a truck our here within 3 hours and kept us updated while we waited. The work could not be done that evening, so they secured the wires and made sure we had electric. The next day, they quoted us the work that needed to be completed, and within 3 hours a pole was installed on our property. A few hours later, the wires were rerun onto the pole and to the house. Ken did a great job! Everything looks great, and the site was spotless when he left. We would definitely recommend them and use the again in the future.

    Josh was great to work with. He was professional in all the work that he did. He was very patient dealing with some old wires in my old house. I procrastinated on the long list of fixes on the electrical system in my house for a long time and I decided to get it done now rather than later. I gave him a long list of things that I wanted to be done and he did all of them! I was impressed with his professional work. He did a full investigation on the source of the problem with flickering lights and occasional outages on one line. He did not do it once but did it several more times to make sure that the cause of the problem was not on my end. (It turned out that the problem was on PPLs end. I called PPL. A crew from PPL found a loose connection on one wire and replaced it.) He did a few things to make my house safer. He was able to upgrade one outlet that did not have ground to a new GFCI. He replaced several outlets with GFCI for safety reasons. I was glad that he replaced the old ceiling light in the kitchen with a new LED ceiling light. I would go on but that should be sufficient. The whole work was spread over four days (one of them was cut short due to bad weather) so that he would do the job right (instead of being in a rush). All in all, Josh did a great job!

    Thomas Edison Electric was there for us when we needed them. Our oven blew out in a fairly spectacular fashion and, while we purchased a new oven, we really didnt want to risk putting a new appliance into an old outlet. It was critical that a licensed electrician test our outlet, but we couldnt get anyone to call us back the day after Thanksgiving. Except the good folks at Thomas Edison Electric.After our initial phone call to the service center, we were immediately contacted, an appointment was scheduled, and a technician was sent out at the appointed time. Our electrician even made a special trip out to a hardware store to replace the cord that was incorrectly sent with our oven. Hed had a long busy day, but went the extra mile to get the job done safely. Thats good customer service.

    They showed up on time which is a great way to start. Even though they had never encountered a similar situation they assessed the problem, called the office and set the plans to correct my electrical problem. Not having the necessary equipment to fix my problem at this time they assured me that it would be done starting at 7am the next day. Again they showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and people, went right to work and corrected my disastrous problem in about 2 hours. Everything working as it should.     Thomas Edison Electric was very prompt when we had our power go out in our master bedroom. It was after hours but they still arrived shortly after i called and requested a service call. The gentleman that came out was very professional and pleasant to talk with while he explained what the issue was and the cost it would be to fix the issue. It is hard to find reliable contractors out here in rural central PA, and its gotten much worse in recent years with the labor shortage.     Edison Electric and my electrician, Carlos, are spectacular. I experienced a problem with dimming and brightening lights when running appliances. My local power company ignored my requests for help. I called Edison and they dispatched an electrician immediately. Carlos arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem within ten minutes. He was working alone that day and the repair was a two-person job, which would have required a three day wait. Knowing my health issues and sensing my apprehension, Carlos took on the job alone. He had the repairs made within a couple hours. After testing appliances, a problem still remained. Carlos intervened and called my local power company directly on my behalf. He had me placed on their emergency priority list and they came out the next day to perform repairs. My home returned to normal within 48 hours. This was a potentially dangerous problem which might have taken weeks to resolve. If you are looking for competent, professional, prompt, and caring service, look no further than Carlos and Edison Electric. I recommend them highly.

    Update from August 2021: Thomas Edison completed a big project for us that included installing a whole-house generator, relocating the aerial service attachment, installing Ethernet cables, bringing several power cables and light fixture installations up to code. Thomas Edison Electric returned my initial call within 15 minutes and had someone assigned for the next day. I met the electrician, Frank, at the house, exactly at the agreed-to time. He and I went through the house, discussed my requests and collaborated on the best approaches. Some of the requests were for complex work. Frank then returned to his truck and spent a few minutes making some phone calls and then returned with quotes, including two options for the most complex aspect, relocating the service entrance. Frank was friendly, professional and a clear communicator. Overall, he and Thomas Edison helped me meet a critical deadline with financial implications. Thank you!
