    After getting estimates from several franchise custom closet companies I found the owner Mike of Katie’s Closets (The Best!). I decided to try an independent company to see if pricing would be any different. The difference is by using an independent company like Katie’s Closets is that they have the flexibility to adjust pricing and a lower overhead which effects cost. Most franchise companies are the complete opposite. With Mike you get a master English carpenter, so he can custom anything to your liking. He also has a very good sense of design. He suggested some wonderful things to do with our office although we had most of the office layout down. It was some of the little details he suggested that made our custom office absolutely perfect. Mike will even go to the trouble of showing you renderings of your office in different colors you desire for comparison once you decide to hire him (It’s the little things that made a difference). Not only does he have a great business mannerism but he is very honest and personable. Mike and his assistance Sean did an absolutely fabulous job and gave my wife and me the custom office we desired for so long. After the install Mike even came back to install custom floating shelves in the office in which place the cherry on top of everything else he did for us. Mike will not be satisfied until you are satisfied, he aims to please and he’s a man of his word. So if you want a company that will give you exactly what you want at a fair price and with integrity, don’t look any further. I highly recommend Katie’s Closets and I look forward to working with them again in the future .

    Katies Closets did an incredible job in my home with laundry room cabinetry. They went above and beyond what I expected and made sure the job was done to perfection. The cabinetry look seamless considering we have really bad walls and ceilings (older home)...the craftsmanship was very impressive! Ive been working with a lot of contractors through this renovation and it was such a pleasure to finally work with a professional who takes great pride in his work from beginning to end. We look forward to working with him again and I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

    My wife and I decided to turn our attic into a walk in closet. Working with Katies Closets LLC - Michael Higgins was truly a wonderful experience. It is rare, unfortunately to find people who truly not only care about the project but truly take pride in their work like Mike.Mike was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish on this project. We would highly recommend him, not just for a job like ours with a slant roof but. for any custom closets that you might need

    We just had an addition done to our house and we needed cabinets for our laundry room as well as two bedroom closets. We checked out the Container Store and California Closets, both were just ok and really expensive. Then we found Katies Closets. All I can say is we are so grateful to have found them. Super responsive and just lovely people. Laura came to do the design and measurements and Mike (the owner) did the install himself. We couldnt be happier. I felt completely comfortable leaving Mike and his assistant alone in my home while I ran errands. Just good people, quality work and probably half what the big companies charge and the quality is exponentially better as its not cookie cutter. Every is just perfect!

    From start to finish - it was an amazing experience. The cabinets and hardware are high quality and the workmanship is the best! We will definitely use Mike and team in the future and recommend them to our family and friends.

    Wonderful experience. I contacted them through their website and had a return call within 24 hours. They showed up on time on the day for the consultation, and they provided the quote by the day and time they said they would. Install was two weeks later. Professional, clean, reliable and all around great to work with. Would highly recommend!!

    I highly recommend Katie’s Closet. The owner is amazing and a talented carpenter. They made mud room lockers for me that are exquisite. They are coming back to do more work at our house!

    Very personable, Mike will try and find the best and cheapest option for you and will work with you on everything. He even drives 3 hours away from his house in a downpour to finish jobs. He really cares about his customers and does a great job!
