    I originally came across Mikes Fences due to the beautiful horizontal wood fences through the example projects. We have a huge front yard, but none of it is enclosed, so we wanted to get a new fence to replace our short backyard fence as well as acquire usable front yard space for gardening and our dogs. Connor was quick to come over to field the project, and spent a good amount of time with us going over the project specifics, ideas, and stayed to take measurements. Once we were cleared to start working, everything moved fairly quickly.Overall, the experience for Mikes Fences was phenomenal. The resulting fence is gorgeous, and we couldnt be happier. Jesús, the on site lead, was instrumental to the success of this project. I cant thank the crew enough for constantly going above and beyond with different elements of this project. All of their recommendations were spot on, and factored in things I didnt. And even later down the line in the project, it was suggested we make adjustments to the old wood façade of the house to be more in line with the new fence, which was an incredible idea. Although that change even involved redoing an entire gate to follow the same line created by the fence height. All done without question and without additional charge. Connor and the team helped deliver against every request I had and I think the results speak for themselves.We have already had several people driving by stop us to tell us how beautiful it looks, and were just happy to reclaim more of our home. On top of everything, Connor helped source some additional redwood which they were able to cut to size so we could build our own garden beds for our front yard. This entire project was lifechanging.

    Connor came out to our property initially and listened to our needs. He was willing to accommodate our wishes for replacing the fence and gate with a new build, while repairing a portion of the existing fence that we preferred to rejuvenate.Armindo was our lead and he was patient with our questions and concerns along with being a skilled craftsman. He also showed respect for our property which is sometimes hard to find.Final result is a beautiful redwood board on board fence that agrees with the ranch style home and a handsome gate that operates smoothly.Pricing was fair and reasonable too!Highly recommend Mikes Fences!Janet L

    Great communication of expected timeline. Spoke with Connor initially and he is a wealth of knowledge. I let him know what I wanted and he provided a clear breakdown of expected cost. Armindo and Noah finished my fence in two days! Don’t let the quick turnaround fool you because the craftsmanship of the work is top notch! Would definitely recommend.

    So far so good. The project manager that came out to meet with me seems very pleasant to work with and knowledgeable .I havent received formal quote yet but its only been a few days and they are probably really busy with bigger projects ahead of mind.They responded to my initial inquiry really quickly. Pictures of their work appear very well crafted, so I am looking forward to working with them for my gate and fence projects. (If they get back to me as many others have not 😏). I have high hopes
