    Had the pleasure of working with Robert to repair our badly rotten decks. Robert and his crew were always punctual, set realistic expectations and completed the job on schedule.     Absolutely brilliant company to work with. I had a number of quotes and went with Monarch due to the fact their pricing was good and that Ryan is an open, honest person who is a pleasure to deal with. The crew turned up ontime every day and left the deck immaculately clean, I had to go away for the last day and Ryan sent me photo updates as to the progress so I was always updated as to what was happening.The system they use is excellent and has also been enhanced to provide additional waterproofing, for the first time in years I am not worried about the winter rain!

    Ryan and his crew built a new solid surface deck for our balcony. Great job! Professional crew - efficient, professional, pleasant and neat. Weather caused a one-day delay but Ryan let us know well in advance. The job was still completed by the original date given. Care was taken to prevent any damage to surrounding walls. The new deck looks great. Strongly recommend the company!

    As stressful as it is to bring someone into your home to do repairs, I can honestly state that redoing the worn out floors of our balconies was one of the best home repair experiences we have ever had. Ryan Southard is professional, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable. He suggested things like a copper spillway that looks spectacular, will wear better than the metal we had before and did not add to the cost. His fees were very fair and his crew was outstanding, extremely professional and so quiet we hardly knew they were there. If you have balcony issues this is the place to call.

    I could not be happier with Ryan and his crew (Ruben et al.). They were all great to work with and did a fantastic job with our balcony deck, which was cracked and had rotting wood underneath. It was a difficult project due to our own neglect and some rough weather to work through, but now it looks brand new (and we know its a lot safer now than it was before). Ruben came early, worked late, and both Ruben and Ryan would keep us up-to-date on how the project was going. In fact, they were able to complete the job a day early! You cant go wrong with Ryan and Monarch Deck Coatings.

They were able to assess the damage and give a fair estimate of the job at hand. They were on time, created a brand new deck space for us that will ensure no leaks for many many years to come.     We made the mistake of trusting a company to build our balcony deck (5 years ago) that did not use the proper waterproofing steps. Our deck showed rotting wood underneath and around the posts as well as a cracking deck coating. Trust me, you do not want to try and save money and cut corners when it comes to waterproofing and the metal flashing, we have learned our lesson. Ryan gave us a bid that came with a 5-year warranty on his work. He was very professional, gave a bid the same day, was straight forward, and honest. His experienced work crew was prompt daily and left the job site immaculate every day. They wore their masks the entire day even though they never set foot in my home, I certainly wouldnt expect this from them. The damage was worse than expected but Ryan stood by the original bid. The work was done to code and Im confident there will be no issues with it. I highly recommend this company for any deck repair, he stands by his work.

    If you are having issues with your outdoor deck, I highly recommend using Monarch. My deck was completely rebuilt about 5 years ago and the original installation, by another company, was substandard. As a result my deck was leaking and cracking. Ryan was able to provide a great solution. No permit or stucco repair needed. His team was able to complete my deck project in two days. No muss, no fuss. They were on-time, responsive and the project went extremely smooth. A great value.

He is always been punctual, polite, very knowledgeable and Ive never waited more than a day to receive a bid!     I have used Monarch Deck Coating company for my rear deck in Newport Beach. I am getting ready to call them to come and do the front deck next.Not only do they do fantastic work, they are on time, and clean up after they are done. The process that he uses and his meticulous implementation have rendered these areas bulletproof.     The whole Monarch crew were not just floor guys - theyre artists that worked in concert with us to design the most amazingly beautiful kitchen and entryway floors. But beyond the skilled workmanship - their work ethics are above reproach.It your appointment is for 10 - they show up at 9:50. If theres a reason for a delay - they let you know immediately. If you need them to come back - they answer the phone (or email) and make arrangements to come back out.The product line is superb and professionally applied by skilled workers that were a joy to have in our home..
