    Working with B&D Electric was great. Jennifer was able to assist us in information and setting up services. Able to answer all of my many questions, and in a timely manner. Electrical anything gives me high anxiety and everyone we worked with was kind, patient and knowledgeable. Mason was our installer and again super professional, explained the entire process, and I feel really secure in the work they did, it really was such a great experience not having to worry about quality work.We got a generator interlock system installed.

    The electricians from B&D Electric did their usual excellent job today. While one was servicing our Generac the other removed our old ceiling fan and installed a new one, and evaluated our smoke detectors.They were knowledgeable and polite and they finished the jobs quickly.I couldn’t ask for better service.

    Top notch customer service. Diagnosed our hot water heater problem that plumbers couldnt fix. B&D managed to come by on a Friday afternoon when they were solidly booked. While they couldnt fix it today, theyll be back to take care of it.10/16 Update. It took a bit longer to get the job scheduled due to interference from Helene and Milton, but the work could not have gone better. I was glad to see Mason and his assistant again right on time, and Clay Electric arrived shortly after to cut power. The new panel was installed in a timely manner. The county inspector passed without question, and Clay Electric reconnected power within 30 minutes, and when all was done, I have a new power panel and hot water again. Mason is the ultimate professional electrician who really knows his trade, with skills beyond his years. He represents B&D Electric well. When I need further or future electrical work, I will call B&D without hesitation.

    After Helene came through and CFEC restored our power we discovered we had a bad main circuit breaker. We called B&D Electric and they had someone here, and we are a little remote, within 20 minutes. They had us power back on in 30 minutes. Very impressed with their prompt response and professionalism. Definitely use them again.

    Yesterday was Day 6 of our electrical outage from Helene. We knew a tree had come down on our meter wire, but thought it was unbroken. However, as Clay came to reconnect they immediately took the meter and told us we needed an electrician. Frantic notes to our friends led us to B&D, and they were incredible. Within a few hours they sent a crew to repair it. Now, Day 7, we wait for Clay Electric to return and reconnect. Joseph and Edward, THANK you so much, along with Jennifer in the office.

    After undergoing nightmares with several Generac certified generator repair groups, I was finally lucky enough to fine B&D Electric. They are no nonsense good - especially important because our Generator is older and big for a home: a 25 year-old 60Kw model supplying two houses.By comparison, one other group told me I needed a new generator when they saw smoke, because they did not notice a leaky hose spilling oil on the exhaust. Even I noticed that - and promptly fired them. Other businesses, some with good reviews, have been equally lame. Then I found B&D, who have been like a Knight in Shining Armor for our generator.These B&D Electric people are seriously good, professional in every way. From scheduling through diagnostics and repair, they have been spot on, real saviors. I cannot thank them enough for their great work, diligence and professionalism.

    Had B&D wire a new heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater (giving up gas and going all electric). Had to schedule around HVAC and plumber. Office was great at arranging time to match installation and inspection. B&D worked great with the other tradesman finishing the wiring of their intallations as well as updated electric panel, and arranging permits. Electricians doing the job showed up on time, were courteous, efficient and polite. They actually cleaned the entire work site (from mess created by HVAC and plumber) before they left. Sent a technician by the next day to explain the changes to the panel.B&D are my go to people for large and small electrical jobs. Installed a generator a few years ago. Competitive prices and outstanding service. Cant ask for more.

    QUICK, PROFESSIONAL & FAIR PRICING. The transfer switch for our Generac generator got fried by lightning. With hurricane Idalia about to hit our area, I needed a part replaced quick. I called B&D and was greeted by a friendly voice who scheduled our appointment promptly. The technician from B&D was on time and knew his stuff. He assessed the situation, ran back to the shop to get a part and we are now heading into the hurricane prepared. I expected the cost to be much higher than what was charged.

    Jarrett and his assistant did an excellent job of using a laser to determine exactly where to install 3 can lights in our ceiling to line up with existing can lights in adjacent areas. They were also very clean and efficient. Jarrett went into the attic to add the wiring to avoid having messy ceiling insulation fall all over our great room. We were very pleased with the outcome and their friendly attitudes. We highly recommend Jarrett.Update October 2024: We had Jarrett and John out today to replace parts in a ceiling fan and an LED light in our kitchen ceiling. They were expert and efficient. We are always pleased with the work done by B&D!

    Contacted B&D Electric after another company did not return my two phone calls. The front office was very responsive and was able to generate an estimate to install an EV charger in my garage.     Ryan and Jose were our technicians for our job today but this is our third stellar experience with B&D so I finally had to leave a review.The last time B&D came out we had lost power to almost half our house. I was quarantined at home with my two toddlers out of an abundance of caution due to my husband testing positive for Covid (he stayed at another location and we were consistently testing negative). We ended up losing power in the master bedroom, the kids’ bedroom, and part of the kitchen. It was a nightmare.We gave B&D a call and they were able to send out a couple technicians that same afternoon to fix the problem. It turns out that a fuse cartridge was failing and had gotten so bad that the casing was bubbling from the electricity arcing within the fuse box. They didn’t have the right cartridge with them (our 1975 home is a little odd) so they went searching around town to pick up a replacement. One of the technicians stayed behind and was incredibly helpful during the “down time,” answering questions and checking various other issues we had been having around the house. In the end we were able to get all power restored and at a very reasonable cost.Today they came out for a simple swap, we wanted a light fixture converted into an outlet, and they were so quick, friendly, and efficient at completing the swap. It was so quick and the cost was so reasonable that I regret putting off calling them for as long as I did!So thank you B&D, this house has plenty of electrical work in its future and we will happily continue to give you our business!

    The power went off and on 5 times within a 12 hour period and then Clay Electric said it was on. It was not. When I called Clay, they said it showed on at the meter and the rest was my problem. I called B & D and they explained there would be a minimum charge, which is understandable. Mr. Justin Wooten and an assistant came out and it appeared the problem was in the meter. They disconnected and reconnected wiring at the meter and the electric came back on. I called Clay back and they sent someone out. The problem was with the meter and Clay really dropped the ball on this. Mr. Wooten was very knowledgeable and solved my problem.
