    We lost a loved one and his sister who is also older was down from Massachusetts and did not know how to work the split unit in his house. After explaining the situation they were able to get her a service call the same day before she had to go back. They told her there would be a service fee. Louise came to show her and was so helpful. He even showed her how to shut off water heater to stop pipes from freezing over winter. He finished up and before he left told her John said no charge. This was such a blessing with the hard time they are going through right now. She cried while telling me this over dinner before she leaves the state again and she did not know how to write a review. I am doing this for her, you are amazing Thank You!!!

    These guys busted their tails for two straight days to remove and replace my geothermal HVAC system with with a high tech standard heat pump and did everything from all the heavy lifting and complicated line routing through my house to the final cleanup as efficiently as possible. I couldnt be more satisfied.

    We have had two very positive experiences since contacting The Witmer Company as a replacement to another local company that we had fallen out of love with due to customer service issues, etc. Our first experience with The Witmer Company was on an emergency heat situation this winter. The situation was smooth and efficient in verifying our warranty, obtaining the part, and making the fix to our outdoor unit. Based on that, we decided to investigate their maintenance plan for annual servicing needs. We quickly learned that the price was very reasonable. Yesterday was our second in-person experience, and once was again very professional, efficient, and timely. I will add that I was also much more pleased in dealing with the office staff of Witmer than our prior company where you always felt like you were one of many people on-hold that they needed to move along. Our decision to choose Witmer so far has been very positive, and we have no intent of returning to our old company which we were with for 16 years. Good Job Team Witmer!

    Josh from Witmer has been to our house several times for various issues. He just replaced our sump pumps after our basement flooded and needs to be completely gutted. But we trust Josh and Witmers judgment for anything involving plumping! It is hard to find trustworthy vendors and Josh/Witmer is definitely one of the few! Thank you for all your constant help!

    We called to schedule a tune up on a Friday and was able to get a Monday morning appointment. Our technician (Adam) kept us informed of when he was going to arrive, the work is was doing while here, all PPE needed and precautions due to the virus were in place. Booties were worn to keep the house clean and a copy of all work performed was provided for reference. Overall, we were pleased with the professionalism, promptness and service provided.

    I have used their services for the past five or six years. They’ve always done a good job. But wow they knocked it out of the park recently. They put in a gas hot water heater earlier this year. Through no fault of their own the heater just didn’t work right. I was concerned and told John the head of service. He said no matter what we will do the right thing even replace it if we have to to make things totally right. Just a few weeks ago they came out and totally replaced the system. Thank you to them for keeping their word and for running their business the right way.

    I highly recommend Witmers. The woman on the phone was friendly and helpful and Eric was fantastic. They came today when I only called this morning. It is a heat wave and I now have air conditioning again. He also fixed some things that the company that installed my unit did wrong. He found that the pipe that went though the crawl space had no insulation and 92 degree air was pouring into my house. He turned down the fan speed so that I could have a conversation when the system was running. This change made my system much more efficient and immediately started pulling the moisture out of the air. He also found that there was too much coolant in the system which is what caused the problem and could have ruined the condenser. He also explained so much to me about how the system works and how to decide the most efficient way to run the system. I am getting a service contract with them and only wish I had had them do the initial installation. Also their price was extremely reasonable. I would give them ten stars out of five if I could

    Our AC system stopped working on a Wednesday. The office answered right away and got us on the schedule the next day. It was an easy fix and up and running within 10 minutes of the service technician being here. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    We had a clog outside the house which was causing backups in the home to where we couldn’t use any water or toilets. We tried to get an emergency call last night from other companies and they either didn’t answer or couldn’t come till a few days out. So we looked outside of ephrata area and found the witmer company. We called and in less then an hour Keith came out and got our clog fixed in half hour. Very affordable to come out and service will definitely be using this company for any and all future services with plumbing heating and cooling.

    Ours was a big job. Witmer listened to concerns and came up with a system that met our needs. They had to repair what previous installer did incorrectly and we can already feel the difference. Heating and cooling is evenly distributed and air is fresh and clean. Took awhile to schedule and get equipment but this was out of their control. Overall very satisfied and would recommend.
