My husband was a veteran with ALS. We contracted with Avenue Medical to add a handicap bathroom, ramp and wheelchair lift and convert a room into a bedroom. Adam Samuel and his sub-contractors did an absolutely wonderful job. This was the first construction project we have had done. Throughout the process, whenever we had any questions, Adam was immediately available and addressed whatever question or concern we had. He was professional, respectful and compassionate. His sub-contractors exhibited the same. His knowledge of the specifications and requirements for our need was (is) of utmost importance. Our construction was completed in December, 2022. Avenue Medical did a great job expanding our existing powder room into a fully handicap accessible bathroom with roll-in shower. Adams experience was helpful in designing the appropriate space, and he accommodated changes as the construction progressed. His subcontractors were courteous, professional, and the final product shows excellent attention to detail.

I would rate with more stars if available. Adam and his team were top notch from start to finish. They did a complete gut job and remodel of my master bathroom. Adam met me at a cabinet store, a tile store to assist me in choosing materials, and the rest we did online at my dining room table. When the grout color for shower tile walls and floor were lighter than my taste, Adam applied a darker sealant, and problem was solved.The team was very professional, skilled, and polite. They were very kind and careful with my little dog who was loose in the house. They were careful about closing doors to protect a curious little dog. I was completely comfortable leaving my home to run errands, knowing my dog was safe. They kept everything clean, covering traffic areas with plastic runners and vacuumed constantly. Extra paint was moved down to my basement storage area and saved me many steps. Thanks to Adam and team (Duane, Mike, Rob, Craig, Roger)! I highly recommend.

We learned of Avenue Medical Construction when we needed to have an elevator installed, and it required a fair amount of construction to adapt our space to accept it. They were very professional from the beginning of our project, with the first visit from Adam Samuel, their owner. The work started a few days later, and the team spent the first couple hours securing and protecting our space from dust and harm. This contrasts with another construction team associated with the elevator itself that did not take such care with our property.Adams team assigned to our project was quite competent, friendly, and accommodating. We were kept informed throughout the process of progress and next steps, including interim inspections. They were especially accommodating when we needed to ask that a section of flooring be redone, when we had asked too use flooring we had on hand, which turned out to not be the best solution for our needs, so they had to do it over. Rather than show any anger or push back on this, they proceeded to buy new flooring that was a good match for our existing flooring, and installed it without comment. The finished work looks great, and we feel will add to the value of our home.Adam has a couple special designations for advanced training in building or retrofitting accessible solutions for senior and disabled persons. The team is quite creative, and Adam visited several times while the construction was ongoing.I would not hesitate to recommend Adam and his company for anyone needing various kinds of accessibility accommodations in the kitchen, bathroom, for a wheelchair lift, etc. They are top notch and we are glad to know about them for any future needs we may have.Mariella & Donald RossNewark, Delaware

Today Adam came to my home and installed 3 grab bars in my house at different locations. He was kind, straightforward and quick! He was able to talk and work at the same time, and he was very aware of suiting our needs and wanted to do so. Professional but very personable. Knew what he was doing and did it. Who knew there was a one-stop shopping place for medical/precautionary needs! We called with our request, Adam came to our home and installed grab bars in our two bathrooms. We discussed a new, safe railing for our stairway. It was installed by a skilled, professional who was polite. We are very pleased with all Avenue did to ensure our safety. Happy we know they are a phone call away. A wee bit pricey but worth it to us...timely response, excellent service and workmanship.

Thank you Avenue Medical for installing the overhead lift we needed for our daughter. When we asked others about installing a lift, they all said the same thing - “Call Adam at Avenue Medical” - and they were right. Adam is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He helped us identify the right equipment for our home to meet our needs. Adam took care of everything and was so easy to work with - he’s quick on communication, scheduling, installation and training. He answered all of our questions and made recommendations for how to get it all to work. We are all so pleased with the new lift as it has taken all the lifting our of morning and bedtime care which not only saves our backs, but gives her better positioning and control over her situation. Thanks Adam - I’ll call you when we are ready for our next project!

This was a complicated remodel for handicap accessibility. Adam was very responsive to some necessary changes and good at dealing with a trouble-making township. Answered calls promptly. Id highly recommend him for handicap projects.

Avenue Medical Construction did a complete renovation/redesign of our 2nd floor kids bath. Amazing attention to detail & incredibly responsive to my calls & concerns. This company is a full service and specialize in handicap accessible needs. Everyone at this company, from the person answering the phone to the owner cared and worked hard to make our renovation go smoothly. They far exceeded all our expectations and would definitely look forward to hiring them again in the future. Shout out to Adam, Mike, Vanessa, Marsha ,Dwayne YOU GUYS/GIRLS ROCK!!!

We are very pleased with the new walk-in shower. The carpenter Dwayne was pleasant and efficient. Dwayne and Mike the plumber were very helpful in moving the water controls to a more convenient place. It was a pleasure working with Adam at Avenue Medical. Within a few weeks, we were able to get a quote and work done on building a concrete ramp for our home. The results were great! I now have a front door ramp that is built into the landscape, providing easy access in and out of our home for a wheel chair. From the street you cant even tell a ramp is there.

I just got installed the Prism medical ceiling lift to help me get into bed. I love how simple this device works . its not complicated to put the sling on and off. There is a youtube video that will be uploaded soon. This has given me easier mobility to get me in and out of bed. Avenue medical construction were very professional and knew what needed to be done to install the lift device. They had it done in two hours. They were awesome I would recommend them to anyone .

I just rented a knee scooter for the second time. The first time I needed it longer than I thought, so I asked if I could purchase it. They sold it to me minus the payments I had made during the rental period. How wonderful. I wont need this one for more than a couple weeks, so I wont be buying it. But the reason I went back to them a second time was because of their quick, polite service.

In renovating our bathroom to make it barrier-free and ADA compliant, Adam Samuel worked with us to design the best space. He made suggestions of items we did not know to consider. He also showed us other renovations Avenue Medical Construction had completed which was helpful.The resulting tile bathroom is beautiful and highly functional. It provides both independence and safety. we appreciate Avenue Medical Constructions ability to meet our needs.

I needed to make safety upgrades to my bathroom and contacted an Aging in Place specialist as I really didnt know where to begin. Kathryn referred me to Adam from Avenue Medical. Adam helped me select appropriate items in the convenience of my home. From that first contact to the project completion everything was handled efficiency. Mike who did the work always showed up at the scheduled time and was polite, neat, and did the job to perfection. I would highly recommend this company
