EL Electric (Ernie and his crew) provided excellent service to my client in downtown New Bern. He met me onsite and gave me a detailed estimate, showed up right on time to the worksite and did great work (checked breaker boxes, added dedicated circuits, new outlets, etc.). His crew also helped us switch out two intricate chandeliers, which were handled with care. I look forward to working with Ernie again.

Best Electrical Services in New Bern Area! Ernie is a true professional, encompasses integrity and knowledge. Just had an Electrical Emergency. Josh, Mike and Jacob arrived quickly, made all repairs and restored power within 1 hour. Josh and Melvin installed my new 200Amp service for my workshop/garage and ran a 100 + feeder with 50Amp connection for my RV trailer. Expectational workmanship and dedication! If your are looking for the job to be done correctly, these are the guys to call. Thank you!

Wow! That is just about all I can say. They arrived when they said they would. Got right to work. Everything is much better than they found it in an hour and a half. Mostly I loved the positive attitude. It might have been the worse rig job they have ever seen but they were there to fix it and did. Also, they worked me into the schedule. Price was very reasonable.

EL Electric installed my home generator a couple of years ago. I had a problem with it not transferring during a power outage. Ernie and crew came by and found a wire had come dislodged. These guys stand by their work! Cudos!

These people are amazing. This man makes it his own personal business to find out what the issue is at your home and is relentless at trying to figure it out. I highly recommend them 10 out of 10 definitely do not waste your time calling anybody else because these people here are it. Josh and Ernie are the greatest people ever. Ernie was a pleasure to speak with and was very understanding of the situation. We needed an electrician fast and he fit us in his schedule the same day! He was professional, made sure our questions were answered, let us know what he was able to do or not do for our needs (which means he was honest) and was reasonably priced for the service needed. We already plan to use him again in the future! I would 1000% recommend EL Electric for any of your needs! You won’t be let down!

Ernie arrived as scheduled, provided written and fair estimate for my in home electric car charger. Installed as scheduled. Then, I had a problem, a bad charger. He returned quickly and worked in concert with my dealer and resolved the issue.Ernie is professional, reliable and knowledgeable and I applaud him and his company. I highly recommend.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This holiday weekend my heat had cut off and when I looked outside the relay had burned up. I contacted Ernie and he got back to me within the hour and had my heat going in about 3 hours at a good price on top of it. Completely prompt, courteous, and professional. Ill be using this company again in an instant. Dont hesitate to call, I never leave reviews, but he earned it. Best serviceman ever.

If you havent used these guys yet, what are you waiting for! The guys are top notch! Ernie has a great crew and they are fast and efficient! One of his workers stayed behind today because I had a tenant that was a little upset. He would not leave until he knew I was good! Thank you Josh that was appreciated more than you know!! Seriously use the guys for any electrical project you have! You will NOT be disappointed!!
