    We had JCL install a very large chandelier for one of our more modern clients. The installation went perfectly. The crew was attentive, polite & amazingly considerate of my clients home. I couldn’t ask more from my electricians. We will definitely be using them again.

    We needed an EV charger installed. I called JLC from a family recommendation. Michael responded immediately. He asked a few questions and I sent photos. But he insisted on coming down to look at my circuit box first himself. When he sent us his quote he explained absolutely everything within it! He answered all of our questions as well. He also told us what our options were and what his suggestions were. We felt very comfortable with him as he was extremely knowledgeable...even knew our Township codes. We set an appointment and the guys (Steve and Scott) showed up on time. They told me what they were going to do and made sure it was in line with what the boss had said. They were so personable and friendly! They did the work, (excellent job!) and cleaned up as well! Michael stayed in contact through the process. They also set up all the labels on the circuit box and matched them to everything in the house!The job entailed installing the 40 Juicebox EV Battery charger, and upgrading our Circuit box for the necessary GFI needed for it. They took out our antiquated circuit box (see photos) and put in a brand new one! We are very very happy with the work! Thanks so much to Mike, Steve and Scott! We will definitely call on them again when needed!

    JLC installed my whole house Generac generator about 3 years ago and it has worked FLAWLESSLY. Oddly enough, this weekend there was a problem with the electrical service to my house that had nothing to do with the generator. Because there was only a partial outage, I did not understand the necessary adjustments to make to the generator. So, on a SUNDAY morning, I sent a text to the owner, MIKE, and he called me back at 8am and came to my house to problem solve the issue. He SUCCESSFULLY diagnosed the issue that needed to be addressed with JCPL. He spoke with JCPL on my behalf and they showed up shortly thereafter. I cant say enough about how much I appreciated Mike coming to my home on a Sunday morning and following up with me later in the day to make sure everything was going well. I could not give a higher recommendation to a contractor who actually comes through in a pinch.

    The most professional service. The technician was very friendly. He knew exactly what the issue was and was able to fix it quickly. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family for any electrical issue in your residential or commercial property. They also quote generators.

    Wanted a large tv mounted with outlet added to hide wires. Contacted JLC after receiving a referral to them from local Facebook group. The owner or rep from the company was professional over the phone and offered some flexibility in pricing. They were not the lowest price that I received but I decided to go with them based on positive interaction over the phone and I could not be happier. The crew showed up a few minutes early. Both guys were friendly and professional. They completed all work as agreed to, cleaned up and waited to make sure all electronics worked before leaving. In total, they were in and out in about 2 hours. Overall, very happy with the service. i will likely use JLC again and would definitely recommend.

    I needed a repair of the wiring on my pool pump, which shorted out due to old frayed wiring on a weekend. The pump motor would not operate. I also needed a new timer clock. I called JLC Electrical in the morning on a Monday, and not only had a repair crew at my house two hours later, but they brought all of the necessary parts and completed the entire repair the same afternoon. From scheduling with their office manager, to completing the job quickly and at a reasonable price, and keeping me up to date on the progress, this was a GREAT experience. I highly recommend JLC Electrical, and will certainly use them in the future when the need arises. After having dealt with other contractors that are not always very responsive or friendly, this was an amazing experience. Thank you to Joe and Jay (the technicians), Mike (the owner), and Adrianna (the office manager) for being so nice and thorough. I am very impressed with your service.

    JLC Electrical Contractors are top notch. Mike the owner is an honest, standup, solid guy. Mike went out of his way to correct an issue that arose with the project. He went well above and beyond what I expected to him to do. Ross was exceptional and stands out from what I am use to dealing with when it comes to contractors. He actually listen to what was wanted, advised, was professional and cleaned up afterwards. Something rarely done anymore but expected. All in all JLC is a good company. I got a good vibe from my experience with JLC. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

    We had a great experience working with JLC. They put in landscaping lights by our pool. It looks beautiful. Mike, the owner, was very much involved in the process and was there to plan and answer any questions I had.     Needed a new electrician, decided to give JLC a call since I had seen their truck around the neighborhood. Jay and Kyle arrived same day I called. I explained the situation and they knew immediately what the problem was and how to fix it. Both were knowledgeable, personable, and showed interest in doing a good job.     Great service. High quality. Reasonable prices.We just moved into an older home and needed a lot of electrical work. Upgraded the panel, installed exhaust fan in the bathroom, and installed a variety of other overhead lights lights and outlets. Mike is the owner, who came personally to provide an estimate and discuss options for dealing with aluminum wiring. I got a number of different estimates, and Mike stood out as the one who knew his stuff and his pricing was more than fair.Completed all the work yesterday, and we’re very happy. The two electricians were friendly and efficient. They took great care to keep things as clean as possible- laid down a tarp when working on overhead lights, and even asked for a vacuum cleaner to pick up the sawdust that had spilled.Highly recommend!!

    Im very pleased to have found such a professional, reliable, expert and reasonably-priced electrical contractor to handle electrical issues in my home. the first time i used them, the technician mike addressed several concerns, explained to me what needed to be corrected and why. I was so impressed, when i had a second need to call i asked for him specifically. he did not disappoint, and was able to correct several smaller issues as well as my main concern while he was here. thanks also to adrianna who answers phones and does scheduling, she helped to explain how her company worked and priced the jobs they performed.     I needed some plugs and switches changed out after remodeling my kitchen. I called another company first and they gave me a quote of $1500. Crazy!I called JLC and got an appointment within the next few days. The technicians came and changed everything over in 2 hours and didnt charge me $1500. The techs were awesome! Very professional and they even cleaned up before they left.I HIGHLY recommend them!!

    We were connected to JLC Electrical Contractors through Lowes. Owning a 90 year old home has always presented many challenging situations during most renovation projects. My husband and I knew that our whole house generator installation was in good hands after meeting Michael. He is extremely professional and an up front kind of person. His office staff relayed messages promptly and we always received answers to our questions or concerns in a timely manner. We had spent a great deal of money on the renovation of our basement and were concerned that the interior work that had to be done would cause damage to our walls and ceiling. His crew was not only professional and knowledgeable , but they cleaned up so well that we couldnt even tell that any walls were drilled into. No dust or dirt was left behind. The town inspector who inspected their work said that it was a Cadillac job well done. We have such confidence in their work that we know we will hire JLC for any electrical needs that may arise in the future.

    Fast response from Angies list. I needed recessed lighting installed as well as a fan and electrical box.     Mike and his team were outstanding installing our generator. They were prompt with all follow-ups, the work was done with the professionalism I expected and we passed inspection without any issues (and in our township, that is saying something). Though what I really appreciated was their recommendation to replace our electrical box. It was the original and manufactured with design flaws by a now defunct firm. I can sleep better with both my generator ready to go and the safety of a new panel. Plus, his pricing was competitive for the services provided.

    I recommend this company highly. I had Mike come out and give me an estimate for a new service entrance cable and electric panel. His price was not only the best but the work done was exceptional. The electricians ran into some issues but they took care of them without adding any additional charges.     I want ceiling lights (with fan boxes) installed in 2 of the bedrooms and for them to add ceiling fan boxes in two of the other bed rooms. Joe & Jay were great.     Michael has been tremendous. He was willing to give us information and quotes for potential work for a house we were looking to buy, which actually helped us during negotiations. He clearly explained what type of wiring the house had and explained the work it would take to fix. (I dont really know much about electrical work, and he really took time to explain it all to me). He has been my go-to for any type of electrical advisement as we do our house-hunting.     I had a variety of electrically jobs needed for an old summer bungalow in Bradley Beach. that had much unprofessional electric work done over the years. Mike came to look right away. We set it up for his crew to come in and look everything over. They were able to update (and make safe) almost everything electrical in the entire home in one day overcoming many obstacles.     UPDATE: Got a call back from the owner of JLC. He apologized and offered to make it right. They did. Such stand up guys that take ownership of the problem and try hard to resolve it. They deserve 5 Stars for that. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ We hired JLC electric through Homeadvisor to install a Timer for the Security lights in the back of the house, inspect the existing 3 Security light fixtures and make sure they work properly. And inspect/fix a wobbly ceiling fan. JLC came in on time for the appointment. Supplied, installed, and programmed a Timer for the Security Lights. However, they could not get one of the Security Light fixtures to turn on. They said that they needed a tracer which they have but couldnt find and had to come back. They came back with the tracer the next Thursday. They said the line terminates in the basement ceiling but they cant get to it. The solution they offered was to make 2 holes in the kitchen drywall to try and fish for the line. They told my husband that he needs to get someone to close the holes and paint over them because they dont do that. My husband refused to let them break the kitchen walls. JLC tried to reprogram the timer (it turns on in the evening but does not turn off in the morning). They also dropped the ceiling fan to check for the cause of the wobble. They said there is nothing wrong with the fan. This is how it is. They also told my husband that the fanlights were missing some screws (later that day i found the missing on the carpet when I was vacuuming). Long story short, 2 wasted half days off of work for my husband, $650 later, we still have a wobbly ceiling fan, one of the Security Lights doesnt work, and the timer still doesnt turn off in the morning

I would recommend for any work anyone needs done.     I found JLC in a Google search and called to inquire about service for an issue with partial electric. I had an idea that it was something with the panel, Alex gave me an idea of the cost (an hourly rate) and asked me to send pictures to share and confirm with the technician. Scott came out the same day and did the job in less than 30 minutes. He is such a kind, personable, and honest - I could cry I was so happy that I lucked out with JLC.     OMG... these guys are AMAZING... I had ordered Slider Door for back of my home, so was removing 4 windows, but they found electric wiring... I was soo scared Im a woman alone its not easy getting good help. Mike came through for me was at my home the next day, the wires were rerouted in an hour.Scott and Steve did amazing job... they saved my life of waiting 2 to 4 weeks of trying to find someone.     We thought we needed to replace two outlets. JLC came to assess the situation and discovered that the fuse in our surge protector had died. The electrician(dont recall his name, sorry) was very professional, friendly and told me that we would be contacted for payment. Instead, we received a quote on services that he recommended. We have used JLC on more than one occasion and highly recommend them. We also like to support business owners in our town and love this company. A++++

    JLC installed a generator as well as did other electrical work in our home. They are wonderful! They show up on time, did their work well and left my house neat and clean. I highly recommend them.
