    I scheduled an appointment to have my septic pumped, inspected and a riser put in. Several other companies in the area would not show up for appointments or respond to phone calls. Sodergren was excellent with their responses. They showed up as scheduled (actually early) and did the work requested quickly. Jim and Mike were excellent to work with answering all of my questions and explaining the operations of the septic system. I would use this company again.

    Last summer, Carey-Sodergren helped us redo our driveway with gravel. There was a quality issue at first, but Ryan came out and made it right. Excellent and professional service!!! We were so impressed that we hired them to do some demo work on our property this summer as well. Ed did a FANTASTIC job with the demo and finish work! We are so in love with how it all turned out. We will definitely contact them again when we need other work done! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

    A little pricey but a good experience overall. Micheal came to clean the septic tank and did a great job explaining the procedure and recommended installing an effluent filter because our old tank did not have one.     Simply the best, most professional service weve ever had from any contractor in the U.P. We started having problems on Sunday (of course). After the plumber came out said we needed the sewer guy, and the sewer guy came out and said it looked like our septic tank had collapsed and we needed a septic guy (and strongly recommended that Ryan Carey be the septic guy), we called Carey-Sodergren. Ryan came out, looked over the situation, and met with us Wednesday evening. On Thursday he went and pulled the permit and arranged for the inspector to come out Friday. By 4:00 Friday afternoon the new system was in, the lawn had been graded and topsoil had been laid and we were back in business. Monday the last workers came out to take away the excavator and seed and mulch the lawn (which is now growing in beautifully). Throughout we were getting regular updates by phone and email. In these times when everyone has supply chain problems, or problems finding workers, we were sure this was going to be a long drawn-out process. We were so glad to be wrong. As you can imagine, Carey-Sodergren is our new septic service.

    Crazy fast response time! We realized the septic tank needed pumped. I called at 9am and they were here literally in less than an hr. Barely had enough time to dig up the lid!     Excellent professional service, I will definitely keep their card handy for future septic needs. I called last week and informed the dispatcher I didnt know where my tanks were, he informed me on a quick way to find them if I didnt want to pay for them to find and uncover them. I elected to do that and it saved me a few bucks. Sam showed up on time and ready to work. He had all the necessary materials and got to work right away installing septic risers on both tanks of my two tank system. Hunter showed up later and pumped both tanks and inspected the tanks and discussed options with me. We all agreed that risers and pumping were all I needed for now and they sealed everything back up. Holes were filled back in sand was raked smooth and rocks were picked up out of my yard. Very happy from first call to invoicing. Nobody wants to spend hard earned money on septic tank service but I feel I got excellent service for my money.

    Our technician was Hunter. He was very pleasant, professional, helpful and easy to work with. We had some roots in our tank and he talked with us about it and helped remove most of the problem.     We had a clogged sewer line (or so we thought)to our septic tank. Of course it happened on the weekend. We called Sodergren Septic.Ryan showed up a few hours later to check it out. After diagnosing the actual problem which was a collapsed sewer line. Ryan & Rick were back the next morning. They were able to fix the problem quickly and professionally. You can tell they really care about their customers. We highly recommend them.

    They surprised me with their very fast response time. We called in because our drains started backing up. Call was in around 11:00 AM and by 3:00 PM someone was here and working on pumping out the tank. The process was quick and easy (it helps tremendously if you already know where your septic lids are) and the cost/price is very reasonable.

They not only set me up with an appointment immediately, but got the information about my septic from the health department and gave me a copy.     Jim cut down some trees and removed some stumps. He took the logs that were to big for me to handle and clean up the area. I had some roots to cut and remove and raking to do. But then the area just needed some grass planted. Jim is nothing but go when he is working. He is also friendly, funny and a great guy. Did a great job, highly recommend.

    We had an emergency septic situation in the middle of the night, we had first called a different septic service which was a mistake. We were treated very badly over the phone and didnt offer to help, you can check my other reviews to see which one Im talking about.Once we got in touch with Sodergren they were here within a couple of hours, they were very friendly over the phone and in person.     I contacted Carey-Sodergren to get our Septic tank cleaning which it has been a number of years at our camp. Last week the driver Hunter met me at the road M-28 and White fish road in the huge Septic hauling truck. I told Hunter Im sure he would not be able to turn around in our place. So we drove in 3 miles and sure enough he said yes he could not turn around. So he said I will drain your tank and he drove down the three miles and backed in 1/4 mile of a narrow two track road and trees on all side and backed right up to our tank. I though he would not get in but my surprise he did. Hunter got the job done. Even the gas trucks had a hard time getting in Carey- Sodergren gets a 5 plus for getting a very hard time getting in.
