    Scheduling the inspection and installation was fast, easy and efficient, just a quick phone call. The process was clearly explained to me in advance. Joe and Katie were very respectful, professional, easy to talk with and knowledgeable. I have high standards in regards to manual labor and customer service. Honestly, I must confess they did a very good job. Matt and James arrived on time, performed the tasks to be done, demonstrated proper functioning to me and left the working areas clean. When you make an investment of this type (E.V.), you want to make sure your vehicle is protected against malfunctions. I do not trust Tesla products with such specifications to anybody, this is why I have chosen Amp Electric West Michigan. I am very satisfied with the service provided, pricing and overall experience.     This is an amazing company to work with. They went above and beyond, we’re very professional while also maintaining a friendly attitude.     This was my 1st. experience with AMP. My neighbor recommended them. From the initial phone call and speaking with Katie (Better keep her, Joe!), meeting Joe on the walk-thru for his quote and finally meeting the electricians on the job ( cant remember their names, but very personable)The job consisted of installing a new hanging fixture from the finished ceiling over my pool table, moving outlets to a location higher on the wall for a wall mount TV, replacing wall outlets with units that extend out for wall coverings and finally installing a generator interlock on my electrical panel and outside plug for the genny.The day of the job, I left the guys shortly after 9AM to play golf and returned later after we had lunch.If I had not seen the finished results, I never would have known that anyone had been at the house.They had to cut into drywall in several spots, they left no dust, no scraps. There were no pieces of cut wiring laying around.Im quite sure that Ive never had a contractor clean up so well.I highly recommend Joe and his crew.Thanks, GuysSteve C.

    The AMP crew lead by Zac did a great job at installing the underground electric service for our 50 campsites at Lonesome Lake. The whole experience was very professional with Joe initially taking the time to come to location to do the quote followed by Jensen’s tracking any questions and getting the crew scheduled . Pricing was very reasonable and I’ll use them for any other projects I may have.

    Zack and Matt, what a couple of wonderful guys. They are a credit to your organization. We had a propane generator installed. I think what I like about them the most is they thought ahead what the job included. I have run Marriott hotels for years and I continually encouraged our employees to not just do the job but delight the guests. Both of these gentleman delighted us by suggesting options and thoroughly going through the process. They deserve raises...really. We will be calling to have other items installed in our home.     AMP Electric did an amazing job on all the work requested, and I absolutely recommend them. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Katie was quick to return my call and I was able to get an appointment quickly (I believe I was very lucky). Joe was great to work with as we walked through our list of projects. He understood exactly what we wanted. It was obvious that he had given good detailed instructions to the electricians that came to our house. They were friendly, organized, worked quickly, and did great work. Amp Electrics pricing was in-line with what I expected and were very fair. As home owners, its stressful spending thousands of dollars on house projects, however, I am so glad we made the investment and were able to work with a company that truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend Amp Electric! And although their workload may be so high that you have to wait longer than you want for an appointment, its worth waiting to have Amp Electric to do the work.

    The decision to use AMP Electric for installation of a Tesla charger was easy based on existing reviews. Every aspect of doing business with AMP was five stars plus. It was so refreshing to be able to work with such a good company! Every interaction was professional, on time, clearly communicated and well thought out on their end. I would strongly recommend them for any needs you have.To install the charger for us, required an upgraded service to our detached garage. During the initial quote, they were able to put together options that were easy to understand, provide the quote in prompt fashion and communication about scheduling was easy. They arrived on time, were professional, friendly and communicated very well about the plan and work to be done. The job provided numerous unexpected challenges that really complicated the initial quote. The AMP crew really set themselves apart from what Ive come to expect when trouble is encountered. They stayed professional, presented solutions, communicated every step of the way. Despite the job running in excess of an extra half days work they completed everything, maintained incredible attention to detail and ensured we were happy along the way and with the final results.AMP Electric - You really set the bar high for what should be expected when hiring work to be done.     I was in desperate need of electircal assistance when the storm hit this past Tuesday. A tree fell on the power line and pulled down the Mast and guy wire. I called around and most places quoted a week to two weeks before they could even take a look. Not only did AMP assist with my issues, but came out the same night, investigated the issue, and got a quote for replacement/repair. The work was done the next day....the next day. Everyone was professional, prompt, courteous, efficient, and cleaned up the work site better than what they found it. I will be saving their info for any electrical issues going forward. If you need help, Give AMP a call! I wish I could remember everyones names because they deserve the recognition!

    I had multiple companies provide me with a quote for some kitchen repairs/updates. Although AMP wasnt the cheapest (though they were close), they made me feel the safest with the transaction and I trusted what was quoted to me.     I have a very old home, so I had quite a laundry list of repairs, as well as some new installation work. These guys are terrific!     I had a Generac whole house generator installed by AMP Electric. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. Joe did not try to oversell me with an oversize generator and was very knowledgeable about what he was selling and installing. Their work was truly professional and they they left their work areas inside and outside of my house so clean you would never know they were there. It was a great experience.     I asked Amp to check out my 84 year old grandmothers electrical panel after a lightning strike. The team found other issues from a addition that was put on the house some years ago. The team could see that my grandmother was really scared of the situation and they were so gentle to her that I cant praise them enough. They got her service to a safe condition and gave recommendations on a more permanent fix. This company is my new go to for anything electrical.     A neighbors tree fell on the power line to our house and it was suggested we contact Amp Electric. Joe was able to assess the situation, explaining that our current electric system wasnt up to code. He contacted our insurance agent to check on a code compliance rider and we had it so...he, along with Zach, proceeded to fix everything. The guys did great work, were efficient and friendly.     Amp Electric just finished the install of my new Generac on-demand generator. Great crew (Zach, James) doing nice work. Bent over backwards to meet my requests and met them all.     Having bought a nearly 100 year old house, albeit in excellent condition, we were expecting that there would still be a few issues that we would have to deal with. The first was that much of the house was wired to a single circuit in our breaker box. The second was that we needed to expand our second bathroom, a task we intended to delegate for year 2 of our stay. A third issue was that I wanted to build a backyard art studio that would also house a ceramic kiln (year 3). All three issues needed electrical work that we felt would best be left to a qualified electrician. But being relatively new in town, and surrounded by older neighbours that didnt need many renovations left us with few recommendations for an electrician. And the ones that we did get never picked up their phones (nor did they call back when we left messages). After reading other reviews, we went with AMP. Admittedly I was a bit worried when I had to leave a message the first time I called, but Katie actually called back within 24 hours and arranged to send Joe out to provide an estimate. I explained our multiple year plan and Joe happily provided 3 quotes for each service. a very welcome act as it allowed us to help cost plan the later renovations. Joe recommended replacing our 100 amp panel with a 200 amp panel now rather than later in preparation for the future renovations (the kiln would require 220 volt service to the garage which necessitated a separate panel out there), but we didnt want to spend a whole lot of money in one service visit. No worries; AMP arranged for two visits to split the cost over two credit card billing cycles a couple of weeks apart. The first visit unloaded the maxed out circuit by adding a couple new breakers and stringing new power lines to two separate parts of the house. Now we dont trip the breaker when we make toast and have the mud room space heater on at the same time. The second much more expensive and lengthily procedure replaced the original panel in the basement and rewired the main power connection to the house (outside work first requiring the city to kill power to the house). My compliments to both Zack and James who did both services professionally, speedily and cleanly. Covid-19 protocols were respected at all times that they were in the house and every effort was made to ensure that the new circuits were labelled in such a way that I could link them to the old ones (I had previously traced out every outlet/light in the house). I have no hesitation at all in recommending Amp to my new neighbours and look forward to working with them on the final phase of our renovations. Plus, our dog liked them......

    More than likely most of us have, at one point or another, needed some work done with our home … work that might be above our own ability or work that just requires a professional. I was in that situation, needing a significant electrical upgrade to replace an antique electrical panel from the 1940’s. This was going to require a new panel in a different location, as well as relocating the supply line from the pole, drilling through the roof, eventually significantly upgrading the amperage supply to the house. With internet research, reading reviews and making a good choice, I decided to go with Amp Electric. I set up an appointment for an evaluation and met a couple of the guys, including Joe, the owner. How often does that happen, that you meet the owner of the company your considering hiring? When I first set up the inspection for the quote, they said they would be at the house at 3:00pm … I remember saying on the phone “OK, I’ll see you around three then”, and they said, nope you will see us at three exactly. I laughed … I have waited on people before … for hours. When the day arrived, they showed up at 2:58. That was my first experience with these guys and their company. I chose Amp Electric for my upgrade job, and now the work has been completed … on time, exactly as they said, for the exact price they said … and Fast! What a great group of professionals. It makes me think that companies can actually still be fair, honest, and accountable for what they say and do. Like the old days. They don’t know it yet, but I’ll be calling them tomorrow to schedule another job I came up with. I highly recommend them.

Searched GOOGLE and found AMP Electric. Called, left a message and received a return call within a couple of hours. We made an appt. for an estimate and Joe actually arrived a few minutes early! He was very thorough and showed us in the box where wires had actually melted and left scorch marks. To shorten this up, estimate was emailed, we responded, and work was completed in a very timely manner.     On time and on budget, I like that. Joe the owner was very nice and very professional on the phone. He sent his tech, Zack, and he was right on time. I had him install a whole house fan in the ceiling to draw cool air from outside and exhaust out through the attic. He had to install a new electrical outlet in the attic. Works great and he cleaned up his mess. Then I had him run about 40 feet of Ethernet cable from my modem, into the crawl space under the house and up into another room. He put new terminals on both ends and plugged into my new smart TV. Works great, more dependable and faster than wi-fi. I would use Amp Electric for my next electric project.

    The hallmark of a good company is how they stand behind their work. Scheduling was easy, and everyone on the team incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. I had Amp out to replace and move the electric panel in my century home, there was poor communication on the part of the city inspector, and we ultimately had a code violation with the final work that was not disclosed until after the inspector had been on site, provisionally approved the job, and left. The office and owner both contacted me promptly when we received the notice the following day, and Amp got me on schedule quickly to redo the work at no cost to me. It was a full day of work for their team, and the guys were great. Pricing was very competitive, and I will definitely use them again if needed; while there was an error with the initial work, they acknowledged it and worked to correct it immediately, rather than try to hide it or charge me or add-ons, and the honesty was appreciated.

    I had AMP come out to quote some work in my house (running a new 240V line to the garage) and the owner, Joe, came out and talked me through the process very clearly. He also provided the quote quickly, and his price was very competitive relative to the other quotes I got. We scheduled an installation shortly after, and the installation went great. The electrician who came out to do the work did a great job, and was very friendly and helpful. The work was done professionally, and I am very happy with the quality of service I got for the price they charged. Id gladly go to Joe and AMP Electric any other time I need an electrician, and Id happily recommend them to anyone else in the area who needs any work done.

    This is a very well run company. We had some small residential jobs done by them; additional outlets, new grounded plugs for major appliances, bathroom lighting fixtures replaced, and outdoor lighting repaired. Their receptionist is very friendly and competent. Emailed reminders of upcoming appointment. Technician showed up on time. Sorry - forgot his name. He was very friendly, helpful, and cleaned up his mess. Recommend Amp Electric highly!
