    North Coast was recommended to me by a friend, and I will be recommending/using them in the future.We had a sewer emergency and Yvonne in the office was extremely helpful and got the information to the plumber, Eric, who was on another job. They were able to get me a verbal quote and set up a time to start the work. Eric called back later to confirm the appointment. His team showed up ON TIME and completed the excavation, repair, and restoration in a day in the freezing cold. A+ highly recommend.

    North Coast was great from start (estimate) to finish (timely and tidy). They replaced our lead water service, which involved working with the Village, pulling permits, work inside the house and digging outside of the house. Everything was completed efficiently, all of my questions were answered, and they even put down grass seed where the outside work was done. Highly recommend North Coast plumbing!

    North Coast came out to finish up the repairs on my water line (going from a lead to copper line) and they also replaced a fill valve in one of the toilets in my home. Not only was the quality of their work exemplary, but they were super thorough in their explanations of their findings and what work still needed to be completed. Each person I worked with - including the ones in the office - were friendly and personable. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing, sewer, and drainage work that you need done for your home or business. Also, this is arguably the most important, they hung out with my 16-year-old senior dog that has dementia while they worked. Hes so happy to have made some new friends, too. Thanks so much, guys, especially Eric, Tony, and Jesus!

    Highly recommend North Coast. We had a clog in our sewer pipe due to using flushable wipes. (btw, no wipes are flushable regardless of what the packaging says.) We had 1 inch of water in our laundry room as a result. We had a company come as an emergency call to hydro jet the clog with success. They then proceeded to tell me that our newer pvc pipes were connected to old cracking and collapsing clay pipes that needed to be replaced and quoted me $6,400 for the work to replace the clay pipes. After receiving 4 estimates from various companies, North Coast deemed that we did not need any work done. Eric came by (on time) ran a camera through, had me run water throughout the house and showed me on the his camera that the old clay pipes werent even a factor. He explained that the clay pipes were installed ages ago to old gutters to have the water flow underground. The clay pipes werent even connected to our plumbing and served no purpose.Besides saving us a ton of money on imaginary work, Eric was professional, courteous and friendly and took almost an hour to diagnose the issue. He was thorough and took time to not only explain but also show me that there was no issues with our underground plumbing. And he didnt even want to charge me for the visit. Cmon, how often does that happen? I know theres companies with tons of glowing reviews (we had them out here too), but North Coast truly gave not just exceptional but honest service. Well be calling them for all of our future plumbing needs.

    We had water coming up through our laundry room floor and couldnt seem to find the source of the issue. Eric came out multiple times and worked with us to find the culprit, a cracked sewer line. The crew that came out to do the repair were professional and did an excellent job. At times with other plumbers, weve felt like we didnt know if we were being taken advantage of, but with North Coast, we felt we paid a fair price for the work and appreciated that Eric went above and beyond to help us solve this issue.

    Long over due review but whenever someone asks about plumbing and flood control, I always mention NCSD.We’ve had their flood control system installed back in late 2016 (Day and a half of work) and no issues or flooding since. Even with all the heavy rain we had a few weeks ago, our finished basement stayed dried.We also had our water heater go out last year (33 year old water heater), we also inquired about replacing our old water lines and the cost of doing it separate or doing it all in one. It made way more sense to do it all in one with them already doing piping work around the water heater. Our old lines were from when the house was built and it’s a small ranch so pretty straight forward work. They got it all done in one day.Straight professionals! Their reviews and busy schedule speaks for itself.

    We needed our water heater replaced. Ryan and Cristin arrived on time, replaced the heater, along with fixing some of the piping and cleaned up well. They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and quick. Highly recommend!

    I worked with Eric and Nicole throughout this project, which was not an easy one. Our sewer line out to the main collapsed between the sidewalk and the street and happened to butt up against a large and rather rare tree owned by the City of Evanston. Eric took the time to meet with me and with the City Forestry Dept to figure out how to preserve the tree and get the work done on our sewer line.We were given a quote, the work was scheduled, and Eric and crew completed the job while we were out of town. He even sent photos of the work per my request and thoroughly explained everything. Nicole was always communicative, and the price was the same as the quote with no change orders of any kind. This is the second time we have used North Coast (the first was the installation of a cleanout in our front yard), and each time has been a pleasure.

    After Calling approximately 12 plumbing companies we hired North Coast Plumbing to install our flood control system. We had the double valve flood control system with precast concrete rings installed, to be specific.There are two options out there. They can build the pit with precast concrete rings or build it with some type of cinder blocks. We opted for the pre-cast concrete rings.Our flooding issue:Our basement was flooded in September of 2022 just like many others in our Portage Park neighborhood.I immediately called around for quotes and North Coast Plumbing was the most reasonable with their price. They provided a fixed price unlike some other companies that start with a base price and then everything else is extra. Eric took the time to look over the house to make sure I was not going to need anything else.We had the system installed in one day from 7am to 2pm. The city inspected the job and approved of it without any issues.My conclusion; Eric and Nicole are easy to get in touch with, communication was excellent and the team did an excellent job installing the system. We are very happy with their work and would definitely hire them again or refer them for any plumbing issues. Thanks North Coast Plumbing!!

    During the heavy rain of May 2020, our basement got flooded due to sewage backup, we had about 2 feet of blackish water in our finished basement (a homeowner’s nightmare). I obtained multiple consultations and quotes to mitigate this problem. Among them I found Eric’s assessment and quote the most reasonable and feasible. Due to the pandemic, I had to put this project on hold. Past forward to March 2021, I emailed Eric’s team regarding some of my questions regarding this project and Nicole quickly replied back to me. They still honor the quote they did 7 months back. On the day of the installation of the exterior flood control system, I took the day off to watch them work. Eric’s team arrived exactly 7:30am and started right away. From the time they started until the time they finished around 3pm, the crew work tirelessly and efficiently. You guys did a GREAT JOB!!     North Coast provided excellent customer service. We had a cracked sewer pipe near where our line joined the main line. North Coast came to our property, filmed the sewer line, pinpointed the problem, provided an accurate estimate, obtained the proper permits, and did the work professionally and on-time. I would recommend them to someone needing this type of work.
