The Wire Doctors did some work for us and we were very pleased. They installed a new electric panel and some outlets for us. Prompt, kind and knew what they were doing. Everything was done to the specifications we had talked about and we didn’t have to micromanage the job, thankfully, because we couldn’t be on site. It was nice to work with someone we could trust. I would highly recommend The Wire Doctors if you are in need of electrical work.

We had the unfortunate experience of smoke detectors first going off every hour during the night. My disabled hubby changed the batteries on a step ladder to no avail. By 8 am all 3 were blaring continuously. They are hard wired and one is in the bedroom. 2 days before Christmas and our company we have a contract with were booked and couldnt get here until 8 am the next day. We tried other companies and all booked, probably because of extreme cold and people have oil burners. I called Wire Doctors who heard the obvious noise. She checked and had an opening between 2 and 4. They already knew what the problem was. Andrew told them to waive the call out fee as the alarms were dangling from the ceiling and we already had the ladder out. Apparently the hardwired alarms older than 10 years do this. Code says they must be replaced and no amount of batteries will help. Andrew explained it also the price if we wanted them replaced then. He replaced them in about 20 minutes. The battery lasts 10 years. Also is both a smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Instead of an alarm it says FIRE FIRE FIRE. Carbon monoxide says CARBON MONOXIDE GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. The receptionist was very pleasant and obviously heard the racket in the background when we called Andrew was very personable and explained things. Extremely happy with the service and staff.

The Wire Doctors is an extraordinary service company! The local utility-company cut my power line after a post-storm-crew cutting trees dislodged my utility pole and broke the main-conduit. Working well into the night on back-to-back days The Wire Doctors installed a new pole and service feed to get my power restored in less than 48 hours! The Wire Doctors are responsive, professional and skilled. I highly recommend them.

Price was slightly more than we expected but they were the only company available on an emergency call basis and little wait time. We had some major issues with our power in the living room and the dining room along with outlet issues. Jamie, the dispatcher was very friendly on the phone and was kind and caring. The electrician, Scott… was very professional and knowledgeable about everything and told us in detail about everything he had to do and stayed in the area for 3 days. I am absolutely impressed w/ The Wire Doctors. I had called to make an appointment to have my generator looked at and was given an appointment that worked well with my schedule. I required two visits and after the first Jamie from the office called almost immediately to follow up on how the visit went. I was BLOWN away with the customer service. She was able to help me w/ some questions and get me set up for the second visit. The technician that was sent out today, Scott, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain things to me in a way that I would understand. I felt like he was honest w/ what work needed to be done and really felt that he did a thorough job. I received a write up of the job which included pictures which I find so helpful. It is evident that this company takes pride in what they do and further more takes pride in taking care of their customers. I will without a doubt continue to use The Wire Doctors in the future and be sure to refer them to everyone I know. There arent many businesses out there anymore like this one!

Had a great experience with the Wire Doctors for some issues I was noticing with GFCI outlets in my house. Andrew was able to identify and correct the issue efficiently. They were also able to squeeze me in the next day after I started noticing issues. The services provided aren’t cheap, but the work Andrew did was worth it.

I called the Wire Doctors at 8am on Monday and they had a technician available by noon to come and replace some old two prong outlets I needed replaced. The technician, Andrew; came and I showed him what needed done. Albeit a little pricey for just five outlets, the work was done very nicely and Andrew was very knowledgeable in his field. He explained everything he was doing, showed me what was happening and was very personable to talk with. I would highly recommend this company for any need you have and will likely use them in the future.

Scott was incredible - we have a very old house and the wiring is like Fort Knox. But Scott diagnosed the problem almost immediately, was able to bypass the generator and get our system working again. He was thorough, and efficient, and a super nice guy. I was blown away by how wonderful the whole process was from start to finish!

Amar and Wire Doctors were wonderful! First, they came out and inspected the job and promptly provided an estimate for the work. They were then able to schedule the work on a day that met our schedule. We had 3 new circuits added and it was a challenging job. Its an old house and it required quite a bit of ingenuity to route the wiring from the box all the way to the other side of the house to the kitchen. Amar carefully planned his path and methodically executed his plan. He came around 10am and worked tirelessly until after 7pm. Never took a break and wouldnt let me get him something for lunch or dinner. We couldnt be happier and will definitely go to Wire Doctors for any future electrical work. This company charges a pretty penny, but I think this is one of the few instances in today’s world where you are actually receiving the quality you paid for. Great job guys! They found the problem within 15 minutes and worked with me on my options to get it fixed right but also to keep the price as low as possible. Scott and this company saved me thousands.I was told that I would have to pay over 4 grand to bring my house up to code to get my lights on, mind you I paid $125 just for an electrician to come out and tell me this lie.Called around and stumbled upon this amazing company. Talked to Scott and after sending him the invoice the previous company wrote up for me, he noticed that the lights had been off in the house for over a year, and I would need an underwriter to come to see what needs to be done. Scott informed me that this person needed would have to be licensed by the state, and that this information can be found in my borough. I called up the underwriter, and snagged an appointment for the next day. She came out, wrote off the home as perfect and my lights are now on with no additional work needed.I honestly cannot thank Scott and this company enough for helping and informing me. Wire doctors saved the day for me recently! We were having our driveway widened and repaved. While digging up the ground to add the new section of the driveway they hit power lines feeding the power to a garage in our back yard. The project came to a halt as the paving company could not fix the damaged wires. After a few frantic calls to my husband he suggested we call wire doctors due to previous recommendations from friends that used them in the past. Scott one of the owners came within an hour on his way to another service call. He did a temporary fix to the wiring and replaced the pipes for the wires so the paving company could continue with the paving. This was such a relief since the paving company said if it was not fixed they could not continue the job and did not know when they could come back due to their scheduling. The paving company was able to finish the job. Scott came back the very next day and restored power to the back garage. We were so happy with the service that we had Wire Doctors come back this week to raise our power lines to accomadate parking our travel trailer in our driveway. The wires were too low on the side to pull our travel trailer in. Now we have the space to park our camper along with a new paved driveway to park it on! Thank you wire doctors! Highly recommend!!
