This is the second time I have had Matt from Makefield Electric to my home for an urgent issue related to exterior electric in the span of 5 years. Matt knows his stuff, follows code, does not cut corners, is friendly and is a straight shooter.Leave him a message and he will call you back in response to your need. Would highly recommend.

I had my kitchen redone and he ran the wire through my finished basement for a double oven and cooktop. Absolutely amazing work, he was very meticulous and respectful of my house and things. He cleaned up and you would never even know i had the work done down there. I am so glad i found a new electrician. Makefield Electric is one above the rest. I highly recommend Matt from Makefield Electric. He asks good questions and understood our needs for recessed lighting. He made sure to confirm we were good with placement and location of the lights and switches. He gave great recommendations on the new wireless options for the wall switches. While he was here, he replaced some outlets and moved one for us as well. Great guy, great prices and easy to work with.

Matt is just amazing and so knowledgeable, extremely professional and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed in choosing his company to do any sort of electrical work in your home. I had two electricians in the past from former referrals and they were either too expensive or would not get back to you even after numerous attempts, which is always a red flag. Hands down, Makefield Electric was the best in my research. He is honest and dependable. What a relief to finally find the right electrical company. Matthew is an excellent electrician, a great communicator and gives great customer service. He lays out options clearly when there are choices to be made, and explains what needs to be done in easily understood language when he finds a problem. He has a cheerful demeanor and it is a pleasure to work with him. He is very knowledgeable will make recommendations when appropriate. We moved into a 50 year old house. Matthew identified problem outlets that the home inspector missed, installed new light fixtures and gave us the best price among several bids on replacing our circuit-breaker box (installing new service). He did the work on schedule and on budget. I recommend him to all my friends (and many thanks to my new neighbor who recommended him).

Makefield Electric were professional, highly skilled, and very friendly. From start to finish, they were super thorough, explained everything clearly, and stepped us through the work they needed to do. Our recess lighting looks great, our new ceiling fans look awesome now that they are flush against the ceiling, and our new kitchen and dining room light fixtures look perfect. They installed new lighting in our garage, and additional outdoor lights for the yard. Couldnt ask for friendlier professional guys to help upgrade our house. Well definitely have them back when we upgrade our family room with our entertainment system and mounted television. Thanks Makefield Electric!

These guys really know what they are doing! We just moved to the area from out-of-state and into an older house. We needed some electrical work done so we could install a garbage disposal and an electric dryer. Matthew was able to come out super fast to give us an estimate. Very nice guy. Talked with us a lot about the area. A few days later he and his partner came and the work was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. Total pros! We were very pleased and will definitely call them again for more work if needed!

Matt answered my request for quote immediately. I was told by a former electrician that the reason I had no air conditioning because of a tear at the disconnect box outside. What I thought was going to be a major repair job, only turned out to be a tripped breaker in the attic. Matt knew the Commons well. A professional, with a kind demeanor, he didnt charge me a dime for this . So glad I found Makefield Electric. Just a pleasure to work with!!

When I called with an electrical issue, Matthew happened to be right down the road, and although he told me he was already running late for another appointment, he came right over and took care of the issue. Called for an estimate because I thought my AC was not grounded. Guy was nice enough to stop over same day in the early evening on his way home from a long day of work. He found that the AC was grounded, but not properly - he promptly fixed it for me and then looked around my basement and outside my house and gave me some great advice on things to watch for. I will definitely be calling again for any future electrical needs.UPDATE: I recently had them come and replace my incoming electric service line, electric panel, grounding rods, etc. These guys know what theyre doing, and they go above and beyond with their work - even the electrical inspector commented on the care they took with a couple things. So glad I found these guys.
