Every once in a while you come across a company exceptional service. Alpha foundations is one of those companies.Sam was the First Gentleman to come out and give an estimate. Very thorough, and explained what he was doing along the way. Did not get the “pushy salesman” approach. Had a price and signed contract that day.The foreman Ryan and two technicians named Jarred and Philip came out about 20 days later to perform services. Excellent work. No breaks. We’re finished in four hours even with a little trouble shooting.Overall. Customer service and communication were spot on. This is company you hope you don’t need but glad they are there when you need them.

I had three different projects on my current hundred year old house done by Alphafoundation. Three gentlemen from Alphafoundation, Bryan, Bennet, and Robert worked on my foundation. They were very polite and answered all of my dumb questions. Another group including Clint (and two others) added piers to my front porch. Very quick and nice, they explained any issues that I had. Then, Alphafoundation sent Jaydon, Omar, and Zack to encapsulate my crawl space. They explained all issues and added doors to the crawl space along with two pumps and two dehumidifiers. This is the second house that Alphafoundation has worked on for me. I’m very impressed with the quality of the work and how beautiful my crawl spaces look.

Ryan, Jared and Jayden team from Alpha foundations is one of the best things weve done for our home. Ive been around a while and I work with building codes and standards and we live in a e live in a subsidence zone and they came out and did a job of a team twice their size in a little less than a day and stopped any future foundation movement. I was extremely happy with their work. They even went around some of the previous owners crazy plumbing. They also left the yard looking better than when they started the project. Highly recommend this powerhouse team specifically from Alpha Foundations for the Tallahassee, FL and surrounding area.

About 12 years ago, I noticed a step pattern crack in masonry between bricks on one side of my house. I called Alpha Foundation and after their and inspection and proposal, I accepted their proposal and they fixed the problem. I have had no other noticeable foundation problems since. Recently, I have decided to downsize and plan to put my home up for sale. I want to be able to guarantee a potential buyer that there are no issues with the foundation. So I called Alpha Foundation again and Sam Bridges, assisted by Brian, performed an extensive inspection, both inside and outside. For the inside of the house, they produced a house diagram showing 4 or more location measurements in each room noting any variance in elevation from the elevation at the center of the house. Only one interior location had a variance of -0.4 or greater so their proposal included steps to stabilize that area. Exterior concrete areas showed cracks, 2 need lifting and several need stabilization only. The price of the overall proposal was very reasonable. I got a 5% discount as a repeat customer. And I have documentation to show potential buyers that the house foundation is still solid after 24 years. The inspectors were very professional, showed me all issues found, explained how the issues would be resolved and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Alpha Foundations.Hunter Handley and Brad Tillman of Alpha Foundation performed the work recommended in the inspection report. They were professional, polite and did an excellent job. I am very happy and pleased with the project. I highly recommend Alpha Foundation and their employees.

Joshua Griffin with Alpha Foundations was a pleasure to work with. He got here assessed the problems inside, suited up and got to the root of the problem underneath the house. Got cleaned up and gave us a presentation that educated us on the problems and gave us a solution. The Data presented was backed up with readings from different points taken from different areas inside and outside the house. I feel good about the price and product because of the returns I will gain by not running dehumidifiers in every room in the house and the buckled floors will go back to some normalcy. I will be using Alpha on my other properties...

Brandon and Cole, our crew and did an excellent job raising our sunken concrete pool deck.Now the not so good. The crew didn’t have our job on their schedule on the day they were supposed to show. They only found out when I questioned Alpha’s representative who quoted our job, for a crew show time. Once Brandon was made aware of our scheduled job, communication from Alpha (Brandon) was excellent.Additionally, the contract needed to be reaccomplished via email because Alpha left the project drawings off the contract. I also never received feedback of Alpha actually getting the updated contract l had to redo from scratch.Good crew doing the work. Communication to the crews AND this first time customer needed improving in my opinion though.

After Hurricane Michael my home suffered badly.I was told to call Alpha Foundation that they could handle my problem.Well let me tell you, about Jousha Griffin he is the nicest and the most patient person anyone could ever meet. I was nervous about the process of repairing my foundation issues, but Mr. Griffin sat down with me explained everything that was going to happen and how it would happen.Yes, you can look at the videos and books they send but it is better when someone explains and shows you how the process of stopping your home from shaking and feeling like you are about to walk right out your home through the floors in stead of the doors.My floors where uneven it was up and down while walking it was a real struggle.My home 🏠 was shaking so bad until it felt like I was walking on cheap particle board. And it felt like this upstairs at the top of my stairs beginning at hallway.Whenever the guys ran the steal beam and the jacks under my home it made my feel home like it was solid again and it even help the upstairs areas that was shaking and felt weak. I didnt expect it carry upstairs but it did. Not one uneven floor and I could tell the difference right away.I would recommend Alpha any day because, I know from experience what they did for my home. They stabilized her and she feels great. I have no complaints.They even help me with financing. All I had to do was sit back and Let Jousha Griffin and his guys to their Job.Thanks Alpha once again.

Tallahassee OfficeHave a lap pool where one end of the concrete deck had shifted downward slightly (which we were not aware of) and cracked the concrete. There was also cracking in the concrete in various areas around the pool decking. Sam Bridges came out and diagnosed our issues and offered a repair proposal. The repair proposal was offered in various degrees of repair from a minimal repair to a full repair with varying degrees of costs related to each proposal. We accepted one of the proposals and were told that Hunter, the foreman would contact us to schedule the repair. Two days later Hunter called and asked about coming out that afternoon to begin the repair. We were available so agreed to the timeframe. Hunter and Brad came and began the repair. In just acouple of hours the deck was lifted and stable, all of the areas around the pool deck that had voids detected underneath had been filled. and all of the areas that had cracks had been sealed. Brad and Hunter were exceptionally knowledgeable and professional in their performance of their trade. Happy to have the repair done, but twice as happy that we called the right people to do the work. Thank you, Alpha Foundations,

I have only had the best experiences with Alpha! They worked on my back foundation a few years back, and after that experience, I trusted them with my encapsulation. My tech, Adam noticed cracks on another side of my home recently and was diligent to keep me updated on the measurement changes (my whole neighborhood seems to have been built on soft soil in the late 50’s).The measurements on the other three sides were definitely compromised with the soft soil. We discovered a crack in the brick siding of our house due to a large oak tree being removed that was growing close to the house. The work crew did exceptional work on the repair. They even found a void under the house where a small area of erosion had occurred and had the team out that same afternoon to makes those repairs. Ryan, Jared and Brad were great to work with. We’re very happy with their work and our whole experience with Alpha Foundations!

Alpha Foundations cleaned the crawl space of my 1937 home, removing old insulation, trash leftover by previous owners, and an old air handler (which required being cut into pieces to remove). They then installed a new vapor barrier which has already helped with humidity and climate control in our home. Alpha was helpful in coming to a project scope we felt comfortable with, even if it wasnt the full encapsulation they suggest for our climate. Even when the clean up caused a crack in a water line, they quickly resolved the problem getting a plumber to fix everything. Our installation team of Zack, Wade and Jonathan were great to work with, highly recommend!

UPDATE: BEWARE: The crew was nice as could be, but there are some serious issues with the workmanship, closely check the work, just because they are super nice does not mean the work is done right. They have to come back to move the sump because no common sense was used in its placement. The dehumidifier has no remote switch or power indicator, so you cant tell if it goes off after a power outage until the humidity in your house goes up. This feels like a BIG waste of time and I was highly misled into believing that there would be a remote switch installed inside the house. UPDATE: Customer service says they will make everything right, but the quality of work I described is highly uncaracteristic since that was one of their best crews. Then while I am standing in a store looking at their catalog of available dehumidifiers with remote switches, she tells me no such thing exists. Way to go customer service. At least she finally admitted they do exist and her company just doesnt carry them. My only option is to keep the dehumidifier that might shut off any time without me knowing or I can buy one from somewhere else and theyll install it. At least theyre trying to get things set right now.

I was very pleased with the work that the Alpha Foundations work crew rendered at my home. The guys were very professional and very courteous. They arrived at the time scheduled and it did not take long for them to complete their task. They took the time to explain the process and allowed me to observe what was being done. They had to remove a few plants that were near my home to get to the foundation. They placed the plants back in their right place and did an excellent job cleaning up and packing the soil around the home. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the communication between the installer and myself. They always called to let me know exactly when they would be there and they were on time. Equipment had to be brought into the back yard which was not easy but they did it and anything they had to take down was put right back up before they left. The cleanup was amazing. You wouldn’t even have known they were there. The work that was done inside my house was done with precision, making sure the least amount of visible holes were showing. Placing them where furniture would go. Usually you don’t get work done on your home by people that are so considerate of your property. This team of guys worked very well together. I bought a home a year ago and noticed a foundation issue around the chimney. The home inspector said it wasn’t a problem but I began to have my doubts. Julian was great; he came and did an inspection and let me know that it had the potential to be a major issue in the future and it was best to correct it now. He was very thorough with explaining my repair options and financing options. The repair teams of Clint, Chase, Mason, Parker and Chad were able to come out the next day to do the work. I could not have asked for nicer or more professional people to work with. We recieved A1 service starting with the represenative Austin who came out, offered a resolution and the price on the spot, and scheduled the work to be completed. I cant say enough about how impressed I was with Donald, Josh, and Dillons work from Alpha Foundations. So polite, professional, and provided exceptional service. I had to have 3 of the 4 corners of my house supported because it was built on top of Florida mud. The guys came out and did the work in less than a day, explained everything to me, took extra care with some weird external plumbing that was there so I wouldnt have future problems, and then put everything back in order. I contacted Alpha Foundations about a brick patio that had a significant dip across the middle. Josh came out and gave an estimate and the repair was scheduled.There was good communication with the company, confirming time and who would be coming to do the actual repairs.Brandon and Huntercame and began the process to lift the slab. Brandon was upfront about the challenge concerning lifting the concrete while not causing more damage to the brick overlay. He gave realistic scenarios. The patio was almost unusable prior. I couldnt be more please with my experience with Alpha Foundations. From setting the appointment, to the estimate visit from Brent, to the 3 man crew that came out to do the work, everyone was professional, courteous and thorough. When the crew came out to do the work, they answered the questions I had before they started to work. During the course of the reinforcing of my retaining wall, we found another issue caused by some soil erosion. They gave me a quote on the spot and did that job as part of the same project. They had to tear up the ground cover holding the soil down on top of the retaining wall. So on the last day, they brought out rye grass seed and spread it around. Ive got grass growing on the retaining wall now! The other company I had contacted had their sub call and he was so rude on the phone, I told him not to bother coming out to do the estimate. Great call. Working with Alpha Foundations was reassuring, stress free, and for the first time in the 9 years I have lived in this house, I feel safe. Thank you Alpha Foundations.
