Old Goat Custom Woods custom built a military war chest for my husbands retirement from the Navy after 25 years of service. Everything about this chest is top notch! It is very solid (and heavy) and very sturdy. The attention to detail is incredible! My initial thought was that the cost was a bit pricey, but when you see the quality of the materials used, the quality of the work, and the final product, it is worth every cent! The shadow box in the open lid and cubby for the combination cover is illuminated perfectly, and every request and specification that I asked for was done flawlessly! I am so thrilled to have something so beautiful that we can pass down for many generations. If you are looking for something custom made and great quality, I highly recommend Old Goat Custom Woods! Matt and his team truly are the G.O.A.T!!!

I was given Matts number from a coworker after seeing their fabulous work. It took less than a week for the concept and design to be sent back!! With the previous reviews considered, I believe two things: 1) Theyre going to be busy and 2) Id encourage putting in your request in a timely manner so you may have your item finished by the birthday, Christmas, or whatever celebration.I was very pleased with the Thor hammer we purchased for our football team. Our logo and initials were just right. The amount of detail that went into the threading on the handle was appreciated. The type of grit work we encourage on the field was demonstrated in the making of our hammer. Thank you to Matt and Old Goat Custom Woods for a job well done!!
