    I telephoned Mebane Electrical Services on Friday morning to ask for help with a ceiling light fixture that had partially detached the day before. Jennifer was so polite and helpful in scheduling an appointment. By early Friday afternoon, Nick arrived and remounted the light fixture plus switched out a ceiling fan in another room. Nick also examined my existing fuse box and began the process to create an estimate for upgrading to a new electrical panel box. Nick was such a pleasure to have in my home completing the work. He was professional and efficient.

    Once again, the folks at Mebane Electrical Services did a fantastic job for us. We needed a 240V, 40A charger installed for a new electric car. On the day of the appointment, they texted to let me know that they were on the way and even sent a picture of the tech coming to the house. They were on time, did a great job, and left the area spotless. I highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical services.

    Dan, Danny and Nick installed all the rough in wiring for our new enclosed deck. They showed up on time and were very accommodating and helped us understand how to best to reach our end goals. We have had Mebane electric do previous projects for us and have been completely satisfied. That’s why we called them for this project. They will be back to finish after it’s been inspected.Danny returned with Cam and they installed all of the new light fixtures in and around our new enclosed deck. They are professional, polite and are very helpful at explaining to us what they are doing. We also like that when they are completed for the day the area is cleaned up with no debris. That is very nice. I would never hesitate in recommending Mebane Electric to anyone.Danny and Nick came back yesterday and finished the installation of all outlets, switches, boxes and panel work.     Great customer service I called needing immediate help in installing the powerline back to my home after a tree limb knocked it down . It needed to be inspected Mr. Daniel stayed with me made calls to move the process quickly. His helped helped getting my power restored the same day. I am grateful 🙏 . He was very nice as well. Also I gave him too much money and he gave it back so honestly is key. Price was reasonable as well .

    This was our second time using Mebane Electrical, and both times we had Cam. Both times hes been very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. Shoutout to the company as a whole as well, as they managed to get Cam here same day, which means we arent stuck having to do dishes by hand and were all far too tired for that mess right now

    I am relatively new to Mebane Electric, but will certainly use them again when necessary. A couple of years ago they helped us with a GFI outlet which was causing problems with our heated bathroom floor. It turned out to be the outlet and not the floor and the repair/replacement was carried out without delay. Today, Cam came to install a new fan/light fixture in our guest bedroom. He explained to us how he might not be able to put the new fixture in if the ceiling support was insufficient, but it was okay and the installation was flawless. Cam is a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man and we would have him, Nick or Jim come back anytime we need further electrical help.Thanks from Bill and Kae!

    Power went out to well pump house so we didn’t have water. I called Mebane Electrical at 0800 and they had a technician out before noon. Jim was very thorough and honest with his assessment. He gave us several options for short-term solutions and fixes. Rates seemed reasonable and they applied the service charge to the work invoice which was nice. Thanks to Jim and Mebane Electrical we will have water again soon! Very pleased so far.

    I had a great first experience with Mebane Electrical Services. I just purchased my first home and discovered an undisclosed mouse infestation. After cutting open some drywall in search of the awful smell in my kitchen, I found several outlet and appliance electrical wires completely chewed and exposed. I was in a panic, worried for my family and I’s safety. Thankfully Mebane Electrical Services was able to come out the next day. The woman on the phone was friendly and explained the process to me. I appreciated the text message and photo of the technician I received when he was on his way. Cam arrived and thoroughly surveyed the issues. He was friendly, quick and neat while completing the repairs. I also appreciated that he kept me informed of his progress and any other issues he noticed. While I hope I don’t need an electrician again anytime soon, I will gladly contact Mebane Electrical Services in the future and will recommend them to others as well. Thanks Cam!

    I would like to sincerely thank Jim and Danny for their professionalism today. The temperatures were bitterly cold and the job was in an incredibly low crawlspace.     If you are looking for a great company of electricians very professional and on time. Look no further than Mebane Electrical Services. Cam, Jim, Nick and Danny are very good electricians. My parents home was built in the 1960s and the fuse box was outdated and one spark away from being a fatal tragedy waiting to occur. We got MES to replace the old fuse box with a 200-amp E-Breaker Panel, complete power delivery circuit renovation in the three bedrooms, as well as conduct a power delivery system renovation. This is my go-to election company. I will be using them again in the future and you should too!

New to the area and I hired this company to support a local business but will not use company again because of their shameless attempt to upsell onsite and their out of touch pricing practice. Also the company software requested tipping when paying. I declined but that was unbelievable.

    I had a great experience with Mebane Electrical Services! Jennifer was super responsive to my initial request and provided consistent updates regarding when the electrician would be able to get to my home. Jim (the electrician) was awesome...very polite and professional, did a great job of explaining the problem and the solution he recommended, carefully walked me through the estimate, and then knocked the job out very quickly. He even helped me figure out how to tackle the issue that caused my problem in the first place (hanging a dang TV mount on the wall). I would absolutely use this company again and strongly recommend you do the same!

    I needed a bathroom fan repaired in our guest bathroom and a new larger fan replaced in the master bath. After waiting 3 months for another electrician recommended by a friend who said he was busy but get back to me but did not return my calls or answer my emails, my daughter referred me to Mebane Electrical Services. I left a message late that afternoon and Dan called me first thing in the morning. He told me he had someone in the area who could be there between 12 and 12:30 PM that day. James showed up promptly and took a look at the situation. He looked at the master bath fan and recommended a larger quite fan reconnected the fan grid in the guest bath and went up in the crawl space and noticed the guest bath exhaust hose was broken and not venting outside.He gave me a quote to replace the exhaust hose in the guest bath and install a new larger more powerful fan in the master. We agreed and an appointment was scheduled the following week.James and Nick did a great job. They were fast and punctual. I thought the quote was a a little pricy. But other than that, this was definitely 5-star service. Eventually we plan to replace the fan in the guest bath with a larger fan also and we will contact Mebane Electrical Service when we are ready.

I cant intelligently rate the value of what I was charged for the whole project, as I have no idea what typical costs are in the field, especially given recent supply shortages and inflation, but the initial $99 fee to have a team of two come out and assess / diagnose for an hour was very reasonable.     Jim did a wonderful job completing our electrical projects. We needed to have two light fixtures where there was originally only one in our hall bathroom. He also added conduit, outlets and circuits in our garage. He even replaced a screw that was missing on our panel! Daniel and crew installed a portable generator transfer panel/switch next to our existing panel in the garage. Now, if the power goes out, we simply start up the generator and plug it directly into the transfer panel...the transfer panel has 10 circuits we selected that can be powered by the generator. This setup is extremely safe and very convenient with no need to run numerous extension cords throughout the house. Plus they added some extra outside outlets around the patio. They completed all this work in one day. I would highly recommend Mebane Electrical for any electrical work you might need around the house.

    James and Danny did a nice job with some very odd outlets at my home. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the items that they needed on the truck with them. Great next day response from this company.

    Jim just left our house after replacing the light fixtures in my dark kitchen. Suddenly I have bright corners that were previously impossible to see what was lurking in the shadows, and lights that don’t flicker after they’ve been on a while!     Daniel came out to diagnose power problems Id been having since moving into my rental unit (three months prior). In that time, another electrician had come out twice and told me he couldnt fix the problem and to talk to Duke Energy. Well, Duke came out three times, replacing a ground wire once, and claimed there was nothing more that they could do. Finally, I told my landlord I wanted a second opinion, and so they sent out Daniel from Mebane Electrical. I let Daniel know about my issues, and he listened patiently as I was clearly frustrated. Within 15 minutes of diagnostic work, he had a solid idea of what the problem was. He explained exactly where the issue was and said that Duke would need to come back out. Now this was exasperating, because the previous electrician had put it on Duke twice before and said there wasnt anything he could do about it. However, Daniel said he would call Duke on my behalf, explain exactly what the issue was, then call the landlord and let them know as well. Daniel sat on hold with Duke for 15 minutes and then gave the operator a lengthy rundown of all the power issues I was having and calmly explained why it was Dukes responsibility and how they should fix it. After he put down the phone, Daniel told me to expect a visit from Duke and to text him if things dont get resolved. Within two hours, a Duke technician was out to the house; with clear instructions from Daniel, he was able to fix the issue in under 10 minutes. Mind you, this was an issue that had baffled another electrician and two Duke Energy teams for the three months of my residency, and here it was solved in a single visit by an electrician who took the time to listen and properly diagnose. Now I am a renter so I cant speak to Daniels rates, only his professionalism, courtesy, and expertise. In this regard, I couldnt be happier with Mebane Electrical. I had spent weeks in my apartment afraid of blowing out appliances and sitting many evenings in the dark, and it wouldve been fixed much sooner if someone like Daniel had been called in the first place. Ive encouraged my landlord to consider Mebane a permanent contractor for their leasing company. Thank you for helping me finally feel safe and happy in my home!
