Used Touchstone to install Tesla charger through Duke EV rebate program. Victor came out and did a great job. We had a bit of a tricky install due to location but he figured out the best way to do it without any wires showing. Highly recommend, will call them for my other electrical needs too.

I found Touchstone Electric through the Find It Duke referral program with Duke Energy when I needed to install the charger for our new Tesla. Daniel, their scheduler was great to work with and helped adjust my install date as the production date on my vehicle changed. Ben and Nelson did the install quickly and the work was done to high standard of quality. They even coordinated the county inspector to come by next day. I was incredibly pleased with both the work and their professionalism and will use them again for future projects.

Touchstone Electric responded to my email inquiry about the installation of an EV charging station and upgrading electrical service for a new electrical range while three other electrical contractor inquiries didnt even respond to my email requests. Steve showed up on time for my appointment and he was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. He wrote up a contract immediately and was able to work me into his schedule within one week. Touchstone Electric and Steve in particular are what all contractors should try to exemplify in regards to reliability, knowledge and service.

I have nothing but positive feedback for Christian and everyone at Touchstone! We needed an upgraded 220 line, which involved going through our basement ceiling. Not only did he and his partner manage to only need to cut one, small hole, but their clean-up was so immaculate that it was like they were never even there.The turnaround between job scope assessment and estimate, to getting on the schedule was unbelievably quick, and they completed the job in lightening speed, too!(Price for the job was literally half that of the other quotes I had received, to boot!)We have a few other electrical projects in mind, and my first and only call will be to Christian and Touchstone.

First of all, our family would like to sincerely thank Touchstone for your support and prayers during this difficult time. Now - down to the business at hand. Josh Key is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable guys Ive ever met. He went above and beyond his required electrical assessment/resolution assignment, and took the time to meticulously explain each procedure, and why it was needed. Fantastic employee. Also, Id like to mention Chris, who did the wiring work that Cantey Foundations left undone. If not for Chriss prompt, and excellent work, we would have had 2 invaluable sump pumps that would have never worked during the subsequent rain storms. Im sure all of Touchstones employees share these qualities of knowledge, commitment, and of downright truly caring for customer needs. Positively one of the best companies in this country. Touchstone was excellent in helping to get our hot tub line run! Theo even pointed out an issue with the needed specs so we could get the correct gauge wiring installed. Once that was resolved, they ran the proper line. Christian was very patient with difficulties where we had to adjust the shutoff mounting. They were able to get the job done in spite of the issues encountered. The guys even provide tips to simplify our setup and installed the whole home surge protector. 1.) My project took 5 full days to complete, which was actually faster than I had expected. Every day, Brian Cain the electrician arrived when expected. What was not expected was that he would notify me if he was leaving to get more materials or take lunch, and he let me know when he would return.2.) As a former Crew Chief for a major airline, I tend to be overly critical of all work that is done for me, which is generally not looked upon favorably by contractors. With the work done by Brian, there was nothing to be critical of. It was flawless.3.) I had several questions about the work he was doing, and why things were done in a certain way. He happily answered all of my questions clearly. Before the job was started, we discussed every aspect of the job to make sure we were on the same page, so in the end, every outlet every switch, and every light were exactly where I wanted them to be and the wires were routed in a manner that would reduce the possibility of any future issues; he did not have to guess, and I did not have to ask for things to be done over again.4.) Perhaps this should have been first. I could have gone with a less expensive contractor, but after speaking with others, it was very clear that this company had it together. Theo understood code, which others clearly did not, and he provided options, which others were not inclined to do.5.) I was originally planning to do this work myself with someone offering guidance, since I am very comfortable with this kind of work. After speaking with Theo, I realized this was the better option. Although hiring a contractor when I prefer to do my own work seemed like a lot of money, I know what materials cost, and what my time is worth. Knowing how hard Brian worked, and how many hours he put into the job, all I can say is that the price was very very fair.

Danny and Victor did an excellent job. They were polite and respectful. They arrived at the expected time. They explained what they were doing. They were contracted to come by Dry Pro to install an outlet for a sump pump. Their professionalism when they came caused us to choose to have them to update our electric from fuse box to breakers. The pictures they showed us of our old system made us feel our money has been well spent. They took the time to label the breakers and instruct us how to reset the breakers if there was an issue. They completed the work quicker than anticipated. Thank you gentleman for your excellent work done with a friendly, caring attitude.

He installed an exterior camera fixture that I was having trouble with and also installed a new bathroom exhaust fan that was beyond my skill set... Danny is an impressive electrician. He knew his trade and proceeded with a can-do attitude. He was thorough and ultimately did a very high quality job! He kept me informed throughout and cleaned up when he completed his work. The whole experience with Danny was a pleasure for me. I also warned him that when I need future services, I will be calling Touchtone Electric and will be asking for him. I also have to mention the service of the office support. While I do not recall her name, she was so kind and understood my needs clearly and, also recognized my urgency for service. I ended up with an appointment the next day. Customer service, start to finish, is obviously something Touchtone prides themselves on. This is why Touchtone is now my go-to company for my electrical needs.

It was basic work but it was their customer service that stood out. They were both very professional and pleasant. They listened and asked great questions that led us to small changes that provided the best solution for the money. They provided an overview of the work before they started and reviewed it quickly and effectively when the work was completed. I asked them for advice on a new hot tub that we are receiving in a few weeks. Based on their answers, especially the expert guidance on code requirements from Christian, I decided to request that they provide a quote for wiring the hot tub which I recieved, in detail, the same day.Christian and Hunter from Touchstone Electric were wonderful to work with and really demonstrated a high-level of professionalism and consultation that is hard to find. I hired Touchstone Electric to completely re-wire a house built in 1900 and bring it up to code. Christian Cedillos took the lead on this project and I was very happy with the results. Christian stayed in contact with me and did an excellent job of strategically working the wiring and outlets so it would not damage walls. He replaced the boxes and communicated with the HVAC person to be sure the wiring could handle the unit being installed. Great work, great communication and I would highly recommend them!

My house was built in 1929 and been updated but still lacks being up to current code. He installed a grounding system for me and a full house surge protector. Speedy service and professional. We had Touchstone install an EV charger in our garage. We had a great experience from the start with Theo coming out to assess the project and providing several options as I also want to run a new outlet to the garage for a refrigerator. He was very responsive and followed up to ensure I had no questions.On the day of the job Christian and Zion were on site and did an excellent job on the work. They were both extremely polite and professional. We talked through what was needed, they kept me informed on how they were going to approach the work and when the job was done you would hardly have known that they were there as everything was tidy and put back in place, minus the new EV charger and outlet in the garage of course. Also I should note this was not an easy job as the electrical box was on the complete opposite side of the house from the garage and the basement is finished so had to work around and through some tight spaces to make it happen.Great experience all around and the coffee mug was a nice touch. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

They were the electrician subcontractor that was chosen by the company doing some work on our foundation and crawl space so we had not used them previously. Luke was easy to communicate with when it came to scheduling and even asked ahead of time if there was any other electrical work that we were interested in them either completing while they were here or writing a quote for it, I thought that was such a nice touch!! Real customer service does still exist! Jeffrey came out to install a circuit in my crawl space for a dehumidifier. Jeffrey noticed that my home was powered by an old Challenger panel which were known to cause fires. This breaker panel was also full and didnt have enough space for anymore circuits. Jeffrey recommended that we upgrade to a new Siemens panel, so we agreed to have them do the upgrade.During the install process we did have a couple of hiccups. I reached out to Luke to discuss, and they didnt think twice about going above and beyond to make things right. As an engineer, I am very particular about wire routing and cleanliness (maybe too particular), and after the job was done, I was genuinely impressed with the workmanship.At the end of the day, Touchstone made it clear to me that they are not happy until Im happy, no matter what. In this day and age, its difficult to find contractors you can trust to stand by their work and do the right thing. The experience was not favorable. The first electrician who came to inspect the electrical panel said it was adequate and proceeded to go under the house supposedly to install the electrical outlet. Later on he came out saying all was well and the installer could hook up the humidifier. A week later the installer came out only to find the work inadequate and requested another electrician came out to make the outlet usable. This delayed the project another week. Finally a month and half later.....from 4/3 til 5/15 the work was done and up to code. With that kinda track record I cant honestly say I would recommend this company work to another person or company. Perhaps if given a 2nd chance they could redeem themselves. As a Duke Power referral, ( 220V L2 EVSE plug) my appointment was scheduled within hours of program acceptance.Theo arrived at our new home and after discussing the adjacent location of solar switches/battery (another vendor) he worked up the estimate.While not “up selling” he did suggest a whole house surge suppressor discussing the merits and insurance coverage. Asked that he provide a separate estimate for consideration.Estimates were received electronically a few hours later and can be reviewed and approved from your couch. What’s not to like?Based on my initial experience with Theo’s representation of Touchstone Electric, I look forward to the next steps…
