Excellent product and service. CCIP installed a nat gas 24KW standby generator. The installation was started on schedule (less than two weeks after signing the contract) and completed in less than a day. CCIP is very easy to contact. They offer 24/7 service, included for the first year, and for a reasonable yearly service price after that. Great product and much quieter than I expected or have experienced with other whole-house generators I have come across.

When our day of installation coincided with a power outage by Eversource, CCIP quickly dispatched a technician to do an early initial startup of our just installed generator.

Not only was the start of the installation scheduled earlier than expected, each step of the installation occurred much quicker than anticipated. From start to finish this was a amazing installation. The site planning incorporated analyzing the homes energy demands to properly size the generator along with consideration for equipment placing and connections. I was not oversold on the generator nor was I pressured to purchase any extras. When the generator arrived the technicians installed the gas piping and electrical wiring. I was very pleased to observe careful craftsmanship and pride in their work. The whole process was completed without a single complication. CCIP is a great company with wonderful people. After the startup was completed I was informed about how to obtain periodic maintenance and emergency service if needed. I could not be happier with both the peace of mind having a backup power source and the peace of mind knowing I selected a great company to install and support it.

While we made it through our first year in Cape Cod (2018) without a significant power outage, we remained concerned. In late October 2019 we asked for quotes from Cape Cod Independent Power (CCIP) and others. We accepted CCIPs and got on their schedule. They installed a Kohler 18 kW standby generator and a Kohler automatic transfer switch (ATS) in early December. Their offer included all labor, materials, code inspections, and a 10yr Extended Warranty. The natural gas powered generator exercises itself weekly; reports status of all operations to an application installed on our computer and smart phones, and provides whole house power within seconds of an electrical service failure. When power is restored, the ATS turns the generator off and transfers electrical service back to utility power. The installation is professional looking inside and out. The entire experience was stellar! Everyone at CCIP was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, informative, courteous and professional. Our thanks to Nick, Lester, Bryant, Tony and Julie. (There may have been others on the job.) It was a pleasure working with CCIP. This is a case where I wish Google Review had more than 5 Stars!

My wife and I were interested in a whole house standby generator. A friend recommended Cape Cod Independent Power of Mashpee.My first contact , and yours when you call was Jeanne Connolly. I explained to Jeanne what I was looking for in a generator and my cost parameters. Jeanne spent the next 30 minutes educating me on standby generators, the history of CCIP; answering every question I had regarding equipment, the servicing of the generator and how CCIP stands behind every unit they install.At the end of that call I was convinced I had made the proper decision in contacting CCIP. After a site visit to determine the proper location of the unit and go over any questions I entered into a contract for a Kohler generator. Jeanne gave me an expected rough date for the install, which was met and kept me updated right up to the install date.Lester Wade and his crew conducted the installation which was completed in less time than they expected. They were extremely professional and personable, a great group of men. Lester went over the operation of the unit, service requirements, simulated a power outage to insure all was working properly. During the winter a power outage here is critical as we have an old 1860s house with a separate converted carriage house and when the heat goes off it cools down fairly quickly.
